Mason was pacing back and forth in Alex's room. The latter was talking to his Vanderbilt grandparents.
"She was there the other day? Did she say where she was going?"
"Okay then. Thanks, grandma."
"So where is she?" asked Mason anxiously.
"Europe" answered Alex.
"Europe? For how long will she be there?" questioned Liam.
"That I don't know. Hold on, I'll call my grandparents in Europe."
They had no clue where Morgan went before they called the Vanderbilt grandparents. If it weren't for them, they wouldn't know where to find her. Alex only just thought of calling them since he knew Morgan was close to them and wouldn't leave without properly bidding them farewell.
Now he needs to call his other set of grandparents.
"Hello, grandmother. How are you?"
"That's great. By the way, did Morgan drop there by any chance?"
"Yeah? Where is she? Is she there? Can I talk to her?"
"What?!"
"Is that place for real?"
"So it's impossible to see her personally?"
"Yeah... well, thanks for informing me, grandmother. Take care over there, okay?"
"Bye."
"Damn" muttered Alex. He looked at Mason and Liam. "My grandmother said that Morgan enrolled in an extremely exclusive boarding school with security as tight as the white house that releases students only at the end of the school year. Nobody can visit the students, not even family members unless there is an emergency or death. And the emergency or death has to be verified by the school. We could contact her though by means of any communication but that's out of the question as my sister decided she doesn't need a phone right now and chucked the phone right into the trash and I doubt she will be checking her emails anytime soon. I'm afraid there's nothing we can do for now" Alex dejectedly said. He regretted what he did. He just lost the most important person in his life. If only he could turn back time.
Somebody will have to pay. Somebody in the name of Celestine.
"What extremely exclusive boarding school? Is there such a school? What do they mean that students are released only at the end of the school year? Is that really a boarding school and not a military school? Jesus!" exclaimed Mason.
Liam was frustrated. He wasn't there for Morgan when she needed someone the most. He betrayed his bestfriend. Now he lost not only Brienne but also Morgan. They can't even properly apologize because she's not here anymore and will not be returning soon. They can't even get to her.
"The Cadogan side is extremely powerful in Europe. Can't any of your relatives do anything? The twin brother of your Cadogan grandfather is even a retired general" Mason said hoping for some miracle.
"The school caters to the incredibly wealthy families, hence the reason for the tight security. Enrolled in that school are the heirs to billion-dollar empires, prince or princesses, sons or daughters of the most powerful politicians and other influential people. Before enrolling the student, the family is informed of the strict policy. Enrolling their child in that school would mean that they approve of the said policy and will abide by it. Trust me, they know how to deal with powerful families, including ours. The school will definitely not bend the rules for anyone, even the king" Alex responded.
Mason was disheartened. What will they do now? Why didn't he give Morgan his full trust? Why did he believe Celestine when in fact Morgan warned them about her? Why? And he broke up with her through text. What the fucking hell. What had he done...
"What are we supposed to do now?" asked Liam. Clearly lost on what to do next.
"Collect some debts, perhaps?" Mason darkly said. He will destroy a certain woman and make her suffer for all her wretchedness.
Unbeknownst to them. Talk of Morgan's cheating already spread at school like wildfire. And that she was also dumped by Mason and abandoned by Alex and Liam. Morgan was also blamed for Brienne's death.
The students thought Morgan was scared of going to school because she was guilty and embarrassed that's why she have been missing classes.
Girls were badmouthing her and calling her a whore. They were giddy that Morgan finally fell off the pedestal. They were friendly with her but was secretly envious of her. Guys were being lecherous and talked about tapping Morgan like a piece of meat. One even said, "bet Morgan tastes like heaven. I wonder if we'll get to experie-"
CRAAACKED
The guys were frozen in place when the guy talking about Morgan suddenly flew past them and fell to the ground, unconscious. When they saw who arrived, their hearts palpitated so fast. They were utterly terrified.
Mason seethed, "wanna say that shit again?"
The guys were so frightened none of them spoke, afraid of further offending the trio.
"Did nobody hear me? Why aren't you answering my question?"
"M-M-Mason we didn't think that... it was only Peter thinking t-that we're sor-"
Another cracking sound was heard. It was Alex this time who punched the guy speaking.
"I don't care what you fucking idiots think. But you should have stopped the bastard the moment he started talking shit about my sister. If I hear any of you assholes talking about her that way again, I will break every bone in your body and bankrupt your entire family. Clear?"
The guys were so terrified they only nod vigorously. They almost pissed their pants.
Liam patted one of the guys in the head and said, "spread the word: Morgan did not cheat and she is not the reason Brienne died. I want you to punch every guy who talks shit about Morgan and slap every girl who does. You got it?" Liam asked.
The guy nod. The rest of the guys also nod.
"Now scram!"
Even though Liam's family was not on the level of the Vanderbilts and Archibalds, his family was still influential enough to create some serious damage.
"It's that Celestine again. Damn woman!" Mason gritted his teeth.
"Let's go. We got some cleaning up to do" Alex menacingly said.
They proceeded to look for Celestine and saw the latter in one of the gazebos.
"Did Mason really dump Morgan? You finally surpassed her, Celestine!" said one of the girls surrounding Celestine.
"Mason and I are finally together. Of course he dumped her. Otherwise, I wouldn't have accepted him" Celestine boastfully jeered. "And don't compare me to Morgan ever again. I don't want to be compared to someone like her. She's beneath me. Now make yourself useful and get me a sparkling water."
"I don't recall having a new girlfriend who is so filthy and ugly" Mason loudly said.
Everyone snapped into attention upon hearing him. Celestine paled.
The group of students parted to create a path for the trio that arrived.
"M-Mason... you got it all wrong" Celestine nervously said. "I didn't mean it that way."
The girls surrounding Celestine scoffed. Didn't mean it that way? She exactly meant it that way. They were in for a good show.
Murmurs can be heard from the crowd.
"So she lied?"
"What a lying bitch!"
"How embarrassing to be caught red-handed!"
"Hmm didn't you? What did you mean then?" Mason smirked.
Celestine was loss for words. She only managed to open and close her mouth without saying anything.
"Did you suddenly become a fish, Celestine?" mocked Mason.
Celestine snapped her mouth close. She was sweating buckets.
"For everyone's information, Morgan did not cheat. This vixen falsely speared rumors to gain attention and destroy my sister's reputation. The guy in the picture is someone Morgan worked with. And Morgan did not cause Brienne's death. If I hear any of you badmouthing my sister again you will answer to us and the consequences won't be good. You got that?" Alex said to the crowd.
Everyone paled and started shaking upon hearing Alexander's warning.
"Celestine, do yourself a favor and stop acting like an incorrigible fool. Nobody wants a skank like you. You're disgusting!" Liam insulted further.
"You're right about one thing though. Morgan couldn't compare to you. Is there even a comparison? She's like a goddess and you're like a vermin. Nothing in you can compare even to a strand of her hair. And for the record, I wouldn't want you even if you're the only girl left in the world" Mason said as a final nail to the coffin.
Celestine was so humiliated she cried while snot was running down her nose. Nobody helped her. Nobody wants to go against Alexander Vanderbilt, Mason Archibald and even Liam Kade. If they do, it will be over for them and their family.
The scene of Celestine's unattractive crying while snot was running down her face was captured by one of the students and posted it online. The video was shared so many times making Celestine a laughing stock.
After the incident, Celestine was expelled from school and banned from entering any prestigious school. Celestine's family also got bankrupt after an order from Sebastian Vanderbilt. Morgan's father got angry after hearing the truth from Alex and ordered the destruction of the business of Celestine's family. The Vanderbilts were that terrifyingly powerful.
The students from school were so scared of offending Mason and Alex nobody uttered a single word about Morgan anymore.
It was just unfortunate that what the trio did to protect Morgan's name wasn't witnessed by the latter. It was already too late for repentance.
