Keita heads over to the other class committee member's seats to gather their contact information.
"Yup, right here." Hikaru said, showing his QR code of his RAINE id.
"Got it, thanks." Keita said, moving on to the next member.
"Ah right, which school did you came from?" Hikaru asked.
"The same as yours." Keita glanced at him and replied.
"Eh? How come I didn't know about that?" Hikaru said.
"You're in the fourth class, I'm in the second. It's natural that we don't know each other." Keita said.
"That's weird... How come he knows about me?" Hikaru asked after Keita headed off.
"Mikoto-san, your RAINE id please." Keita asked. Ayumi is sleeping, who knows if she's really sleeping. She put out her phone with a QR code, Keita scanned it.
"It's not RAINE, but it's Puzzle Hazard." Keita said.
"Eh?!" Ayumi sprang up and quickly retracted her phone. She frantically switched to her RAINE app.
"Give me your QR code. I'll add you myself." Ayumi said, with her cheeks red.
"Ok." Keita said as he shows his own Puzzle Hazard QR code.
"Are you an idiot? I'm talking about RAINE!" Ayumi scowled.
"Now we're even. Here is my code." Keita said, then showed his QR code. Ayumi scanned it and added Keita to her contacts.
"Okay, I'll leave you alone then." Keita said before leaving.
"W-wait!" Ayumi called.
"What is it?" Keita responded.
"The levels are difficult recently... I'd appreciate to have more friends to get help from." Ayumi said in an embarrassed tone.
"I don't add friends. Find someone else." Keita rejected.
"What?!" Ayumi was shocked.
"So... This is who you are after all these years..." Ayumi said softly after Keita left. It took a while for the next teacher to enter the class and started teaching. Keita follows the lecture intently, while also busy paging through the reference books related to the subject.
"The student who was busy flipping through a book over there, is there any problems?" The teacher asked.
"No, don't mind me." Keita answered.
"Whoa... Class rep-san is so bold..." The other students started muttering in the back.
"You just have to listen to me in class, what else could you be doing?" The teacher said.
"You're right, sensei. I will do as you say." Keita said and apologised.
"Okay, where did we stopped just now?" The teacher asked as he attempted to resume the class. No one responded to him, while most of them were still muttering about Keita's interaction with the teacher.
"It's about where you were talking about where to apply this field of knowledge." Keita said.
"Oh, you're right, you're listening after all." The teacher said before resuming teaching. The class continued until another hour passed, it's now lunchtime.
"Keita, want to grab something together?" Itsuki asked.
"Suit yourself." Keita said as Itsuki follows. They started walking through the hallway and turned for the staircase that leads downstairs to the cafeteria.
"Keita, did you know that there is a girl that is so popular that she is even known as the 'Flower of Hokutosei'?" Itsuki said.
"Eww, what a gross title. You wouldn't want the person in question to hear such a lame title." Keita shook his head.
"Ahaha that's what people called her. In fact, she started hearing about it since her arrival to this school." Itsuki informs.
"Wow, you know a lot." Keita said.
"I know, right? I'm quite good in gathering information you know? I've been here last year just to gather information about this school." Itsuki said proudly.
"Alright, I know who to ask if I ever have any questions in this school." Keita said.
"Nice, I finally earned some relationship points with Keita, oh yeah!" Itsuki said.
"Oh yeah, I'd want to learn that too!" A girl's voice said.
"It's not easy, you know! Woah! It's Kujou Kanade! The 'Flower of Hokutosei'!" Itsuki exclaimed in surprise. Kanade came down from the staircase from her floor. Second years' classrooms are above the first years' so it's obvious that you'd be able to meet some of the upperclassmen by just passing by the staircase.
"Hello, you're sure fine in your first day it seems." Kanade said to Keita.
"Kana-nee. I told you not to talk with me..." Keita said.
"What? Both of you are related?" Itsuki is even more shocked.
"We're neighbours! We met each other since we're kids, guess we could also be childhood friends too!" Kanade said.
"I'm gonna head downstairs, you may continue blocking the traffic here so no one would come down to grab a bite." Keita said as he walked down.
"Ah, that's sly! Stupid Kei-kun!" Kanade pouted.
"My, my... Guess I'm gonna hear more about the story I guess?" Itsuki asked.
"Sure! Are you one of Keita's friends?" Kanade asked.
"Hmm, I'd say I'm one. All he said is "suit yourself". So I just play around with him." Itsuki said.
"I guess we could strike a deal! I'll tell you about Kei-kun while you tell me about him in school." Kanade said.
"It's fine by me. It's effortless for me either way. Ahaha..." Itsuki said.
"Anyways, let's get going." Kanade said as she walked down.
"What a jackpot... I've been thinking of how to approach the 'Flower of Hokutosei' for months now. All that takes is just befriend Keita? Too big for a lucky day, Kiryu Itsuki..." Itsuki smirked as he thought.
"Kujou-san! Please accept my feelings before I graduate!" A guy shouted in the cafeteria. The scene is not difficult to find. If there is the crowd, there must be the scene. Itsuki followed the crowd to find Kanade as the centre of attention.
