Chapter 11 - Max Level Skills and Overpowered Equipments (2)

Zyair continued to control his character to walk along the seemingly looking ice corridor. This RPG game actually has very good animation. The CGI looks realistic and the scenery of the game really looks very good. Observing the corridor his character was walking into, Zyair recalled something similar to what he was seeing currently.

It was Qantas, for some reason Qantas likes to research many kinds of literature, folktales and Fairytales. Especially the Grimm Brothers written story books. Qantas collected them all. And even the adapted movies of those stories, Qantas watched them and even analyzed them like a student studying for their college exam. Which is why Zyair knew some D princesses. Qantas loves to watch them very much.

Thinking about Qantas' cold and expressionless face, sitting straight on the couch with his usual neat formal wear and gold dimmed glass. He watched D princesses, while maintaining his posture and expression up to the very end of the movie...Zyair can't help but laugh so hard that he stopped the movement of his avatar, and freed his hands to hold his aching stomach.

After getting enough laughter, Zyair finally remembered. From a certain movie, there's also a castle made out of ice created by the just appointed Queen after she ran away in panic and started singing as she goes climbing the snowy mountains. The crystal castle in this instance has the same color as that movie's castle of ice.

It doesn't matter though. Zyair focused his eyes upon the screen once more. He wanted to finish playing this game fast. But before he moved his avatar again, Zyair opened his status window.

Name: RiverSun (Wrath)

Profession: Weapon Meister

↓↑Hidden Profession: Heaven's Destroyer

Talent: SSS

HP | 100/100 |

MP | 100/100 |

LP | 8000pts |

Weapon proficiency:

Axes

Swords

Maces/Hammers

Polearms

Bows/CrossBows

Unusual Weapons

Guns

Zyair didn't bother reading them, and immediately clicked onto the icon for his skills, because he just recalled that he had changed equipment, he wanted to check whether it affected something.

Though Zyair knows little about these things, and doesn't want to waste his brain cells understanding it, he enjoyed using those skills as much as he could.  But his skills correspond to items that were equipped in his avatar.

Like last time, Zyair's proficiency in using Unusual Weapons, like whip, is average. He doesn't like how the tail of the whip went flying all over the place, and it made him dissatisfied. Qantas likes using whips, but Zyair doesn't. What he likes are those big weapons like hammer, axes and big swords. He loves the feeling of swinging and stabbing Spears as well. More so, he especially felt cool wielding a scythe.

But having a messy inventory, accompanied by Zyair, who has a habit of just throwing his things around, sometimes, when he truly needs something, he can't find it.

And that's what happened that time at the gingerbread house. If he was using another weapon, then he didn't need to waste energy swinging his arms around that time. One strike is enough to turn that cookie house into dust.

This time, Zyair wanted to readied his equipment, before anything unusual pops out from the corner of these corridors. Zyair felt that this instance was different from others. He didn't know why, but he was having a bad feeling about it.

Basic Skills:

Basic Observation→Advance Appraisal

Perception (Passive)

Rapid Recovery (Passive)

First Aid

Unique Skill:

Frenzied Clash→Fury→Berserk→Blood Rage

Ground Shaker→Earthquake

Thunder Shock→Thunderstorm

Wind Slash→Wind Tornadoes→Hurricane→Typhoon

Looking at his skills, Zyair frowned. Except for everything else in his unique skills were greyed out. It means that he can't use them.

The game is fair and unfair to players at the same time. As long as you have points you can have anything. Be it skills, items, or equipment.  Except for the player's profession that was given automatically by the system, and those super high leveled items and equipment–that can only be acquired by subjugating legendary or higher rank bosses, or by crafting– everything else can be paid by Life Points.

Basic and unique skill manuals can be found in Grimm Mall, they're pretty expensive as hell. For a beginner player like Zyair, he couldn't afford even one skill manual in the mall.

Counting back from when Zyair first started playing, he only played and broke through seven instances. He acquired a total of 13000 LPs, and squandered them to upgrade his player status to Rank A– Beginner Level player and was left with only 8000 LPs.

With his meager points; there's no way Zyair could buy a skill manual with the lowest price of 10 000 LPs, and that thousands could only afford . Leveling up skills also required points. That's why Zyair was puzzled about his own account. After all, not only did he have complete sets of equipment, almost all his skills are maxed out as well.

It was Qantas again, he bet.

After thinking hard about the problem of his greyed out skills, Zyair exited his status window and went for his inventory bag. Actually, it's not a bag, but a bracelet. Zyair doesn't know why this game deviates from norms. They don't have an inventory bag at all. Bag, ransack, backpack, or whatever they are called are all part of body equipment. They are equipped, so, stored items are limited, because they need to carry it all the time.

Zooming in his avatar, Zyair clicked the multi- layered leather bracelet with a huge red gem in RiverSun's right wrist. The red gem on it flickered, then a window panel appeared on the screen.

Seeing his inventory, Zyair couldn't help but feel annoyed again. Zyair doesn't know why Qantas filled his inventory with useless stuff. He scrolled down, wanting to find an item. But because of the random stuff inside, it took a while for Zyair to find what he was looking for.

He has two items in mind– his weapon and another bracelet. Zyair is a Weapon Meister. It's a profession that Zyair acquired after mastering five or more weapon classes.

Learning a weapon of your choice is free, but the weapon itself needs to be brought. Like all other players, Zyair's profile is blank. He doesn't have skills and his body was still bare. Except that, while he still had nothing, the system gave him an item as a welcome gift. It was the bracelet.
