Kayra was amazed, she didn't know that these guys are actually having jobs. She almost blurted out her thoughts of them being thugs or drug dealers when Garry cut her off.
"Yeah, 15 minutes would do. And, why don't you finish your coffee first?" Garry insisted.
"Haha, okay. I leave right after I finish my drink okay?" She couldn't find any way out of it.
This went on for a few minutes, her drink was finished and she started to make her way out just when she started to feel dizzy.
In a matter of seconds she lost consciousness.
She opened her eyes in an unfamiliar place.
"Again?" "This can't be happening for real!" Kayra didn't know what commenced. Her whereabouts were just as complicated. She wanted to run. As soon as she called Kush, she heard his phone ringing in the other room. She rushed out to see Kush sleeping on a couch.
This was complex, her brain couldn't process anything. She just woke Kush up and asked him what was going on!
He was enraged.
"I don't know if I'm grateful that you woke up or mad that you passed out for 2 days straight!" he said.
"2 days?" gasped Kayra.
"What on earth is going on between you and those guys from earlier?" "Where were you planning to go with them?" "How did they know you were on drugs?..." Kush bombarded her with questions.
She sat there in disbelief unable to utter a word because she couldn't process anything. How long has it actually been? Where did Kush find her and how? It was exhausting and brain racking was making her more dizzy.
"Okay, sit here" Kush made her sit down in her place and brought her a glass of water.
He along with some help from Raavie and Garry gave her glucose via drip. They said going to hospital would be a risky business and it might put Kayra in danger.
Kayra gathered her thoughts and started asking questions.
"Where did you find me?"
"Near the café outside our office building. I saw two guys helping you out. I told them I'll take you from there but they insisted to help. Do you know them?" asked Kush.
"I don't know, I.. " Kayra was cut off by a doorbell.
It was the duo. "We brought food." Garry announced.
"Oh! You're awake. You made us worry for you, you know!" said Raavie in all seriousness.
Kayra was astonished. She was mad, furious at that but she couldn't say anything in front of Kush.
She got worried for his safety as well. Afterall, these guys spiked her drink. She understands that these are dangerous people. Messing with them is not at all good.
She said she didn't want food and wanted to hurry back to her place. Kush offered to give her a ride.
Garry and Raavie were being very supportive of them. They let them leave just like that. Kayra was more anxious now that Raavie did not make any move on her and let her leave with Kush.
She dared not talk to Kush on her way back home. Kush tried to offer her food various times but she denied and kept quiet most of the time.
They finally reached her place. Kayra was exhausted. She barely had a glass of water in two days and after a bike ride of thirty five minutes she felt dizzy again.
She got hold of Kush in order to avoid the fall and Kush supported her quickly picking her up and walking towards her flat. Her thoughts were in a haze when she punched in her passcode.
Anybody looking at them would have mistook them for lovers. But, these two were so involved that they were not thinking straight.
Kush was tired as well. He got bare minimum sleep for the two days Kayra was asleep. He worked from home in the day and cared for her in the night.
Actually, Kush just took naps after every 3 hours or so. He didn't sleep properly nor did he ate well while worrying for Kayra.
Consequently, when he was helping her to go to bed Kayra was already asleep. Hugging him tightly by the neck she won't let him go.
Kush figured she might be feeling alone and so he went to bed with her.
They slept for another 4-5 hours when Kayra woke up and screamed.
She didn't know what happened this time but being in such situations was becoming frequent.
Kush was stunned as well. He did not know how to explain it to her. This was a totally strange situation.
He clumsily rose up to his feet and cried "I can explain it." four times in a row.
Only after listening to his side did she calm down.
Actually, Kush initially wanted to cook for her but when he was struggling his way out of Kayra's grip he heard her whispering, "I'm scared, please don't leave me."
He did not have the heart to leave her. He let go of his worries and hugged her tightly. After that who knows when he fell asleep. But, he couldn't tell all of this to Kayra now. He told her that she fainted out of weakness and her got a sprain in his back while carrying her to her bed which is why he couldn't move from her bed and fell asleep there.
