I sit on the curb staring as they bag his body up. I feel so numb. He was here one minute and gone the next. It all happened so fast. I look up seeing, Katie, jake, nick, and Derek making there way towards me. When I see them I break down. I start crying harder than I ever have. Derek rushes to me wrapping his arms around me. "I am so sorry Vi" He whispers. Playing with my hair. "What happened"? Jake asks all the sudden guilt over whelms me. "Emily" I say. They stare at me confused. "Emily I-I I think Haylee has Emily," I say looking down.
"Haylie did this"? Nick asks. I nod. "She looked like she was out for blood.. and she got it," I say. They nod. "I know where they are keeping her.. or at least I have an idea," Katie says. I nod. I give my statement to the cops and we head home. "Vi I think you should stay here while we try and recuse Emily.. I mean" nick says stopping "I am just a human and useless"? I say. "Yes.. wait no your not useless Violet.. " He stops sighing. I roll my eyes. "It is fine just please bring her home" I say. I head up the stairs and get in the bath. I slip into the water. Seeing his dead body over and over again in my head. I sink under the water. letting out a scream before coming back up.
I get out and dressed in my pjs. I lay there crying til I fall asleep.

Jake's point of view.
We leave Violet at the house. She seemed so broken. I remember the first time I saw a dead body I reacted the same way. It is shocking especially when it is someone she has known since she was two.. I hate having to leave her alone to deal with this but we have to save my sister.. For my sanity and Ole. We get to haylies house. I look around I see a figure in the window up stairs Emily. I whisper. I take off running and jump up there. Cassie smiles at me.
"Took you long enough" She says with a smile. She was supposed to be Violets bestfriend. I feel my self getting angry. I grab her by the throat and push her against the wall. "Stop with the games where the fuck is my sister" I say through gritted teeth. She smiles. "I like it rough" She says. I tighten my grip. "well took you long enough" Haylie says. I let go of cassie and go to punch Haylie. I am tired of there games. She ends up throwing my into a wall. Ouch. I throw a lamp at her. She throws a knife hitting my arm. I throw it back at her.
"Stop it this has gone to fucking fair. Were is Emily Haylie" Katie ask I look at her. Waiting for Haylie to reply. Haylie steps towards her looking deadly. "Follow me" she turns and leaves the room. I do not like how she said that. I feel my heart racing. Yes are hearts do still beat just not as fast as humans. We walk in to a dimly light room with cells all around. "Haylie were"? I am cut short when I feel her snap my neck. The room goes black.
KATIES POINT OF VIIEW
"What the fuck Haylie!" I say "relax he will live" She says. I roll my eyes. "I just needed to leave before he saw Emily" Haylie says. My heart starts racing "What have you done"? I ask. She smiles. "She will be awake soon.. I will be leaving for awhile sister to take care of some stuff.. " Haylie says before taking off I try and follow her with no luck. cassie is gone too. I run back inside checking on jake. "where are nick and derek" I whisper. Nick comes in rubbing his neck. "She snapped our necks too. Derek Is still out" He says. I kiss him. He freezes. I pull away feeling awkward. "I am sorry. I was just happy to see your ok" I say. He nods. "Do you have any blood bags on you it will wake them up sooner" He says. "In the car go get them ill find Emily" I say. He nods taking off towards the car. I walk down the hallway. I must of been walking forever before I see a trail of blood. Fear racing for me. Please don't be dead. Please. I think to myself.
I open a door to see Emily laying on a bed like a princes. I walk towards her scared. my eyes widen. She is white as a ghost. I step beside her and see she was drained of blood. I feel tears fall down my face. "NO"! I scream. Derek,jake and nick walking into the room now. Jake stairs at his sister. "Emily" He whispers like a little kid. I lay my head on her chest crying. "I'm so sorry Emily.. I am so sorry." I whisper over and over.
Jakes point of view.
I hear katie scream no and take off running towards her voice. I walk in seeing my sister laying on the bed dead..Katie leaning over her crying nick and derek looking shocked. "Fuck"! I scream. I start throwing things around. I feel like I am going to loss my mind. Katie turns and looks at me. Fear in her eyes. Violet still needs you jake don't turn it off I know this hurts.. I wish I could take everything back. This Is all my fault." She says tears. Running down her face. She turns back around to Emily stroking her cheek. She lets out a loud gasp.
Derek's point of view
I watched Jake losing it, Katie blaming her self. All while I stared at the girl I was falling for and feeling stupid for not letting her know sooner. I feel so numb right now.
Katie's point of view
I gasp looking at Emily I see her holding my hand. Her eyes flutter open. They look different and some how this is worse. She looks scared out of her mind. "Emily"? I say my voice breaking. I hug her and cry not realizing how much she meant to me til just now. I notice her eyes are darker and she is paler. My eyes widen no no no no. "Oh Emily" I say tears falling down my face. When your turned in a violent manner your eyes darken when you come back as a vampire or what ever we are.
"I-I am not dead" She asks I shake my head no, She study's me "But I'm not alive either are I"? she asks. "i'm afraid not" I say.
Jakes point of view
I watch in horror as Katie pices it together. They turned Emily they new killing her would break me but they knew turning her would send me over the edge. I back up towards the door. I hear it before it happened's snap. I turn my humanity off. I feel nothing. I look at Emily a worried katie. Still shocked nick and derek and leave.
