For that I was thankful. I stood up to have breakfast and some water. I Then brushed my teeth with a Mint leaf but what Hikari calls it in their 'ancient language' is a Mintonoha which means mint leaf in Japanese. "I like mint tasting things but... This is over board!" I said with a mouthful of mint leaf paste. After I brushed my teeth I walked outside. I couldn't stay there forever. I needed to train so that I could defend myself and then I would leave. I walked around the plaza and tried to talk to new people, more so Treeko's so I could train amongst them. After half an hour of trying I sighed in defeat and walked off. I decided to go to that clearing and start training on my own.
Once I reached the clearing I began my training. After about 20 minutes I sighed once again in defeat. "I'm getting nowhere..." I whined as I puffed out my lil cheeks. "Need any help Hailey?" Hikari asked. I turned around to see Hikari standing behind me. "Yes please. I want to train and become stronger I tried to ask the Pokémon in the plaza but they..." I trailed off. I didn't want to speak ill of his people. After all he gave me a home, food and water all for free. I didn't want to take advantage of his kindness. I wanted to return it, with interest. "I know, they can be a bit like that, don't worry!" Hikari assured me. "If you're sure..." I said. "So... Where do we start?" I asked. "We can start now if you want." Hikari said. "Sure!" I agreed enthusiastically.
And so my training began...
