I woke up in shock and sat up almost immediately. If it wasn't for Hikari I would have fallen off the Rīfubeddo. "T-thanks" I said, nothing louder then a whisper. "Lie back down now." A voice that wasn't Hikari's said as I was pushed down into a lying position. "W-who...?" I asked in a whisper. It seemed my throat was still sore after calling out for Hikari in my... Nightmare? "Did you forget about me already Wakai hito?" The voice asked. "Uh-" I tried to say but was cut off. "Did you not introduce yourself to Hailey?" Hikari asked. "Uhhhhhh... Maaayyyyybbbbeeeee?" The voice said. "Hailey this is Kage and Kage this is Hailey." Hikari explained. "Y-your v-oice...!" I said just above a whisper. I coughed straight after doing so. "HAILEY ARE YOU-" Hikari began to ask but was cut off by Kage. "Is this because of something you did while you were in a nightmare?" Kage asked. To save my breath I noded. "Ah now I see. That Darkrai is quite a high level then. Now all injuries that were caused in the nightmare should take effect in real life, that's if he is a high enough level. Starting with minor one's and then going to the severe one's. I recommend you stay close to Hikari until you fully recover because he can use synthesis to heal you." Kage explained. Both Hikari and I nodded. I then said thank you to Kage in sign language. Every language I knew a little bit of, even if it was just one word, I'm able to speak it now fluently. "Ah you know sign language huh? That's real 'handy' when communicating with humans. Since I'm a messenger and I speak to Nurse Joy often, I have learned sign language too." Kage explained. Kage then used sign language " Just between you and me I tried to teach it to Hikari but no matter what he just can't figure it out. He says it's to much of a... handful!" Kage then did finger guns pointing at me while giggling like a girl. "That was a hand full to swallow Kage. Do you think you could give me a hand?" I playfully said while using sign language. We then both stare at Hikari for a good few seconds then burst out into laughter. I ended up having a coughing fit buttttt..... It was worth it! Hikari caught half the conversation by watching my body language alone. He had been staring at me the entire time. He understood every word I said in sign language yet he didn't understand a thing Kage said. I was able to tell he was doing this for some reason. "Hey don't make hand puns about me!" Hikari playfully yelled at us. Kage was shocked. "Have you been learning sign language?" Kage asked. "No, I haven't but Hailey was-" I cut Hikari off and shot him a murderous glare. "Fine." Hikari said by rolling his eyes.
