After a night of chatting and then heading off to bed. The next afternoon and I was still asleep.
I then faintly heard a knock and Hikari's voice which was nothing more then a whisper. "H...Y Al...Ght...? Y...?" Hikari asked. I wonder what he's trying to say. After a while I heared nothing and then after what felt like forever. "HAILEY! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" Hikari shouted with desperation in his voice. I woke up and sat up in shock. If it wasn't for Hikari supporting the back of my head I would have hit my head against the back of a tree. "Hi...Kar...I?" I asked with confusion. "You didn't wake up yesterday morning Hailey and I thought giving you a day of rest would do you some good so I left you alone in your hut. Then this morning I checked on you and you hadn't moved a muscle. I was then worried so I brought you out to see if you were alright." Hikari explained. "If I hadn't found you, you would have died." Hikari said with a guilty voice. He then broke down in front of me. "It... Would have been... ALL MY FAULT!" Hikari cried out as he punches the tree that's supporting me, but he didn't dare to move his hand which was supporting my head. I then hugged him. "This was not your fault. You were protecting me. That's all and I respect you so much for that. You ran into that situation without any knowledge of what was happening, yet you were willing to protect me with your very life." I comforted Hikari. "And for that I love you as family." I said with gratitude glowing from my eyes and wearing a proud smile on my face, Hikari's face for a moment had a sad expression, but changed as quickly as I noticed it, was I imagining things? "You're... Not... Mad...?" Hikari asked with surprise, which then turned into comfort. " No I'm not, why would I be angry at you, the person who was only trying to protect me." I calmly explained. "It may not have been the most rational way sure but you had adrenaline as well as the fear of me being hurt. Thats what was happening to you. You were acting on instincts." I explained. I said this as I hugged him tighter. "Kurai yuoru was able to get me away safely, was more calmer about the situation but had no idea if he could match up to you at all. I know what you are capable of. If I hadn't stepped in, Kurai yuoru would have died within seconds. I stepped in knowing I may have died but that was a risk I was willing to take. I care about you both and I couldn't bare to see either of you hurt." I explained. Hikari went to say something but stopped before he said anything, it seemed like he was upset a little by what I said. He couldn't argue with my explanation. Why are you two staring at each other like lovers, hmm?" Kurai yuoru teased with an eye brow raised and a... Hand? on his hip. Hikari and I coughed awkwardly as we moved away from each other in one swift motion. Until now I hadn't realised how close he was in my face. "Uh... N-Nothing!" I said with a shade of pink on my face. "She was hurt!" Hikari explained. "Wait, she was?!" Kurai said in a panic as he rushed to my side, checking me over from head to toe. "I'm fine now! Hikari healed me Kurai!" I assured Kurai. Kurai then grabbed me by the leaf (Which is located on the top of my head, it looks like a pony tail thing.) I then winced in pain as he did so. I then felt the urge to hit him but I swallowed it and refused to do so. "Let go of her! That is the most sensitive spot to a Grovyle! you're hurting her!" Hikari ordered as he picked me up and released me from Kurai. Kurai was still studying me closely. I then fell into unconsciousness.

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" I shouted at Kurai. " It was needed because now, even if you healed her if there is anything left over it will show. What ever pain relief you gave her hides what her true injuries are." Kurai explained. As he explained this a bunch of scars showed up where I was hurt but on my back there was a burn mark which was unhealed. "Heal this burn mark Hikari. If I didn't do this she would have been in a world of pain later." Kurai said. "Fine." I swallowed my pride as I healed Hailey. He was right and I couldn't argue with Him.

"Mmm." I said as I woke up sleepily. "Hikari?" I asked. "Oh you're awake!" Hikari exclaimed. "I told you she would be fine. You worried over nothing." Kurai said as he sighed in relief. I giggled at this. "Hikari picked up on it and chuckled with me. "What's so funny you two?" Kurai asked. "Hypocrite! You say Hikari was worried over nothing when you sigh in relief!" I teased Kurai as I kept giggling. "Heh I guess you caught me!" Kurai subtly ended the teasing game. "You stood your ground and kept your cool quite well Hailey. Most Grovyle would have attacked me." Kurai praised me. " It is your instinct to defend yourself yet you fought it. Why?" Kurai asked.
"I trust both of you with my life and I care about you both. I would never hurt either of you." I said without hesitation.
