I don't remember what I forgot, but now there's a beautiful light gray flame hanging in a seemingly endless pit.
What I do remember is walking in the Tower, end all that was inside was an endless pit with a narrow path around it. On the far end is a small altar, although it's just a big bowl with a step in front of it. Goba told me that only I am allowed to stand on the steps, others are only allowed to kneel on it at most.
I also remember dropping a drop of blood in the bowl to bind it to me, or whatever that meens. It looks spectacular with shining red lights and a red orb appearing that's definitely bigger than the drop of blood I gave. But I don't feel anything else.
Then I needed to put a hand on my forehead and a hand on the red orb and think of the things I want to forget. And then nothing.
I stepped back and there's a small gray flame in the middle of the bottomless pit, it looks to be slowly spinning. Goba started preaching about starting anew and giving the experience from your previous life to strengthen the world around us. And then the green-black flame floated from the scythe towards the flame and settled above it, the green-black flames and the gray flames just touching.
"The refining started." Goba looks tired, I think the preaching and everything is exhausting. But I didn't really listen, I was still thinking about what I would have chosen to forget, but I can't remember.
"You did good Goba, you should rest now." He looks at me with a slightly worried expression, but he nods either way.
"Master, I think you should go back to your body. For now there's nothing much we could do, and your body isn't in a safe place."
I look Goba right in the eyes. "But my body is here right? What else am I moving right now?"
"You're not yet strong enough to move your physical body into this world. And as you believe that your body should be like this in this world, it is like this in this world. Your actual body is still in front of Pridove's body, just like before the bird tried to take over."
Isn't that something super important!? Shouldn't they give me that knowledge together with how to summon Goba!?" How do I go back!? Quickly, tell me!" Okay, I shouldn't be panicking, but I am, who knows what will happen?
"I'm not sure, I can't leave on my own. But unless you need to chant to go back... I'd think you'll be back if you believe you should be there...."
Everything changes in front of me even before Goba finishes his sentence. At least it worked, if I stayed calm I could have... "So you're finally awake?"
There's someone sitting there! That startled me! Only now I start to look around me and I notice that I'm in a small room with two benches facing each other. Looking out of the windows I see we're moving, a carriage? I try to stretch but I can't, my wrists and legs are bound, even my neck is bound to the wall.
Facing me is a man, short dirt coloured blonde hair, a big chin and nose, and quite friendly eyebrows. Those eyebrows don't match the sharp and piercing look in his eyes. "Why am I bound like this?" Asking that is more important than telling the person that I woke up, as he can see that.
He looks at me with a slight surprise in his eyes, people are always surprised when I open my mouth or something. "We might change that if you start talking about what happened. We found you, lying on the ground next to a dead body of a respected soldier with a scythe buried in his chest." He gave me a questioning look, but I try to show nothing. I still feel my aura getting a bit murderous, so I think he knows. His face doesn't change at all though, that must be a good skill to have.
"So, making sure you couldn't act aggressive the moment you woke up was the safest thing to do. Besides that, having golden hair that shines slightly in the dark isn't something that gives you a 'normal and harmless' look. And those white golden eyes top it off all the way. Now, are you ready to tell me what happened Goldilocks?"
*sigh* I think I can't lie to him, so just telling him the truth might be the easiest thing to do. I'll deal with the troubles as they come, if he really wants to do something I'll have a surprise for him.
"I'll tell you the short version first, if you're interested I'll tell you what you want to know in more detail." I try to sit more comfortably, but the sound of rattling chains remind me that I can't move an inch, I'll just need to cope with sitting uncomfortably straight. "I am an orphan, the slave of the soldier you found picked me up from the street. He fed me, showed me brotherhood, and trained me how to fight. In the end it was just for one goal, to kill his master, and in extention himself. So, I got stronger, and today came, I killed the man who called himself Pridove, buy then the true fight started. He was possessed by a parasitic monster, the monster tried to take over my body after I killed his previous host, but it failed. And just now I woke up, tied down with a man I don't know."
My calmness shocks me, inside I feel like I should be screaming and crying, but all that comes out of my mouth is a list of what happened. It's like my body starts showing my calmer side, as if nothing can phase me, even though it does! My calmness also shocks the one sitting on the other side of me, people truly are surprised every time I open my mouth. I should make a name for myself, then they won't be as surprised anymore, I think. Maybe I should shock him some more, then I don't need to look at his annoying surprised face anymore, it reminds me of when people look at a dog doing tricks. "I created my world too during this fight, so I guess I'm a Creator now, right?"
