Goba arrives looking pretty similar to the pigeon! At least, he looks like something in between mist and a flame. A green flame with red eyes and red drawings! But the most impressive part is the endless golden glow behind him, stretching as far as the eye can see.
"I'm sorry for being late! After you saved me I needed to repent for my sins, but now I'm here and I'll show you your new power. Gosamu, call for me!"
Those last words create an explosion in my head, an explosion that clears the way for a river of information! Information about many things flow into my mind. Knowledge about a world, about goblins, classes, powers, evolutions and many more things.
Before I had any time to sort all of this out my arms spread out and my voice starts booming through this space, each word clearly spoken, each word spreading far.
"First Priest Goba, I call upon you! Stand before me and open the eyes of those with their eyes closed to my truth. Stand before me and punish those without eyes. Stand before me and cut away the thorns in my path!"
When I finish chanting I clap my hands and the rune circle that started forming before me lights up directly! Golden light shining everywhere. Pridove flies back as if bitten by the light.
When the light clears away a figure is standing there, Goba stands before me wearing his faded green cloak. But it's different, now there're beautiful golden lines hovering just above the surface of the cloak and small golden white sparkles can be seen in the unnatural darkness that spreads underneath the cloak.
In his right hand is a scythe with a black staff that looks like rotten wood. A skull that seems to be shaped somewhere in between a humans and a goblins decorates the back of the blade. A very normal looking metallic black blade is integrated into the black wood.
And in his left hand is a golden book with two locks on it, other than the color there's nothing special about it.
Pridove, noticing it's only Goba who's standing there, turns around quickly and charges towards us again! "I thought you were going to do something amazing, but you only called someone here who lost to me before, he'll lose to me once again!"
Goba walks slowly towards Pridove and starts talking "You stupid birdbrain, I'm not the one I once was. My eyes have been opened to the grandness of my master Gosamu!" he holds his golden book high up into the air and it starts shining. When the light touches Pridove he shrieks in pain and falls straight to the ground. "With the help of my masters greatness, you're nothing in front of me. You may have taken my family, you may have taken my pride, but I've come on top stronger than I was. I'd have tried opening your eyes too, but you don't have any. So, goodbye."
He looks down at the shrieking bird that lies flat on the ground with pity in his eyes, but this pity doesn't even make him hesitate to cut with his scythe. The scythe flies through the formless body of Pridove and the shrieking stops, the body gets its form back but lies there without any movements. A small green and black flame hovers around the blade of the scythe now.
Goba turns around, and those green eyes with his plus shaped pupils shake me out of my stupor, I walk towards him.
"Master, brother, Gosamu, Celestial Creator, you have saved me!" Goba kneels down on one knee, his right hand over his heart. "Will you let me follow you, let me be your priest, your shield, and your sword?"
If he said this before I knew about all of this it wouldn't have made any sense, but it turns out that to save Goba I created a world for him, and he has been put under a contract, a life contract. The only thing I could do to not let him follow me is kill him, and I won't do that.
"Goba, stand up. Don't be like this. Even though you are the First Priest now, you're still my brother and my teacher and you always will be. So stand, stand besides me and let us face the world together!"
Goba looks up, and now there's no frown on his face, but there are tears running down from his eyes. He stands up and lays his hand that has no book anymore on my shoulder.
"I may have lost my family, but I feel that I've found a new one with you. Let's go and see the world you made, and maybe I'll have another surprise for you there!"
He's right, we should get out of here and go into my world!
