When Dr. Veer heard Dr. Shah's conclusion he discreetly released a sigh of breath that he was holding but that didn't go unnoticed by Anaya. She frowned.
"Ok Dr. Veer, as the case is solved let me take my leave now. Anaya, follow me" Dr. Shah said as he got up to leave the cabin.
Anaya nodded and bid farewell to Dr. Veer before following her idol.
"You nasty brat, why were you frowning back there. Do you find me boring now that you are a student of that old woman?" Dr. Shah asked in an irritated tone, as they walked down the corridor.
"No, never Dr. Shah. You know that you are my role model and I'll never find you boring. But you shouldn't talk about my mentor like that you know. After all, she's your wife and if she finds out that you called her old and madwoman you'll suffer sir." Anaya chuckled.
"You dare tell her this. Besides she's still in city B as she wants to play a professor for some more time. You can see she has time for everyone except me, so she won't care whatever I call her" he whined.
"She already got her resignation just to accompany you here sir. It's only a matter of a month before she joins the new life hospital along with you. So stop behving as a neglected child and don't get worked up or she'll run away with a handsome doctor if she finds you in this miserable state grumbling like an old man " Anaya said in a teasing manner.
Her relation with this husband wife duo was just like this. A healthy friendly relation. Yes, he was her idol and his wife her mentor, but they were also her friend that always guided her towards the ethical path. I seriously regret not asking for your hand for my nephew earlier. My nephew is way better and is surely a better option. Just divorce your husband. I'll think of a justified reason for you to divorce him" he paused, thinking all those "justified" reasons which can help her get divorce effortlessly in the face of law, his eyes sparkling at the possibility.
Anaya's mouth twitched. She knew that her idol appreciated her but to put forward such bizarre proposal...
