A burst of laughter was heard from his friends. Not even a single soul was considering his emotions and laughing as if they had heard a joke of the century which further worsened his mood.
"Aisha, you too are laughing at me ?" Dheer whined.
"I'm sorry Dheer, it's really funny, and to add it, it all happened just outside your office. You really got a rotten luck dude" Aisha said wiping her tears.
Dheer scowled and was about to chastise her but before he could utter a word Elisa spoke.
"So, idiot what did you dream this time?" Elisa asked.
"How did you know I had a dream again?" Dheer asked slightly surprised.
I bet that Dr. Shah would have been on his way to his new working place by now if you didn't have any dream.
Dheer stiffened and gritted his teeth "She was heading to her honeymoon destination with her husband while I was watching them from across the street."
A brief silence lingered the room following his words.
Not liking this silence Elisa said, "Hey, come on dude stop jinxing yourself by acting as if she's already married to someone else. It's just a dream ok. And be glad that now you can change it."
After Dheer told them about his dream last night, they evaluated all his dreams and made a theory that- if Dheer took a wrong step or think of a wrong action, then he would dream either about her leaving him or something about her marriage and if he did a right thing he would dream about their life together. So he just had to trust his dreams and take actions accordingly.
"I know, Elisa. I know that it's just a dream and that too to show me the right path but still I can't bear it whenever I see her smiling like that to another man like he's the only one for her. I hate that feeling." He mumbled, faintly.
"I understand Dheer, but you have to be focused now. Say did you see her husband's face this time? It would be a lot easier for us if we just get to know who that man is. We can keep him away from her." Sam questioned.
"I don't know" he said desperately. "I mean I did see his face in the dream and he looked handsome but each time I wake up from the dream all I can remember about him is his silhouette and nothing else. Not even a single feature or any special marks on him. And as much I hate to admit it, he seems to be a match for Anaya. Urrggghhh I hate that man. I so hate him"
"Stop thinking about it, bro. Cheer up and just focus on our plan for now. We'll not let Anaya leave you. We'll give it our best ok. So tell me any lead about the trafficking case?" Arav asked shifting the topic.
"Not yet. But we think that some doctors are involved too. I mean it's not easy to carry out such tasks without the support of a doctor. We are trying to find out more." Dheer said.
"It's good that you guys know where to head. But be cautious ok. These people dared to carry such dreadful endeavor, so they might be dangerous. Now that you've even involved Anaya so protect her well" Eva warned.
"I know. That was why I asked Arav to discreetly increase the security around Anaya and the hospital. I won't let anything happen to her."
As they were talking, the thing that Rehan wanted to discuss, didn't come out. Dheer was already so disheartened and he didn't want to discuss it with him right now to make him more depressed. And no way he'll tell this to Elisa. He was kicked out of the bedroom for a week last time he agreed to help Anaya. And at such a crucial time, he didn't want to lower his other buddies' morale too. 'I guess I've to do it discreetly then' he sighed.

It was afternoon and Anaya had just finished seeing all her outpatients for the day. Her surgeries for the day were scheduled after an hour given her habit to take an hour of a break to recharge herself. Taking a deep breath, she decided to grab a quick lunch at the hospital's canteen and play detective and talk to some hospital staff to find more about the case before her scheduled surgery
She grabbed her phone and was about to head towards the canteen when her phone rang. She raised an eyebrow seeing the name on the screen. 'Strange, why's he calling me and that too at this hour.' She answered the call to find out the answer. "Hello".
