Jared was the last one out of the room as he thought to himself. ' This is it, I shall pack and get to my new office and setup then i'll go through the stack of stuff that needs to be edited.' With his plan set Jared walks out the meeting room and is greeted with congrats and applause. He nods and smiles his way to his old desk with a box and starts packing up his stuff.
Bri pokes her head up over the cubicle and smiles at jared before starting in on him. " so when were you going to tell me that you had gotten this promotion instead of andy? Like seriously i thought we were bros dude!" Jared looks at Bri, he knows she is his bro...after all what haven't they gone through with each other since high school?
Flash back to high school
1976
Jared pushes his glasses up on his nose as he sat with bri in the nurses office. Jared and bri were both messed up from a fight they had with jareds bullies. "Why did you jump in bri?! I had them!" Jared shouts at bri as the nurse blots the cut on his eyebrow with a cotton ball on tweezers with rubbing alcohol. Bri stuck her tongue out at jared and flips her hair over her shoulder "Well Jared, if you had just ya know. Told the teacher like I suggested we wouldn't be in this situation. We risk getting suspended!" Jared mimics her and dodges her slap as the nurse walks away to write some paperwork. "You know Bri, you won't get in as much trouble as I will. You didnt get caught throwing punches like i did."
Back to 1996
Jared looks back at bri and smiles. "Well actually i was going ro tell you tonight really. Molly and i are throwing a small party that you are invited to as always. Bring your good stuff." Bri nods smirking "the good maryjane. Grinded or pre wrapped?" Jared thinks "ell bring both and your bong." Jared quickly runs off to his new office to set his stuff up and he logs into his computer and sets off to do his work after sending molly a quick message.
Jared and bri meet up in the parking lot and do their secret hand shake. "So is this casual? Or is this classy?" Bri asks as she unlocks ber car to get in. "Well, i guess casual. It's only gonna be you, me and molls." Jared unlocks his car and starts it and rolls down his windows. "So i'll see you in an hour at my place right?" Bri nods and says "of course. Is molly cooking? Or is it chinese and gas station snacks? Because just saying, this maryjane is quite loud."
Molly let jared in and gave him a hug and a kiss. She had put up a few decorations for his party and had already got the Chinese food and soda for the night. "What's that smell molls? Did you already set up?" Jared sniffs the air and walks around her as he takes her hand. Molly giggles and says "yep! All by myself. I walked down to that cute little old asian ladies shop and picked up the order. I swear she loves me, she closed down shop since it was lunch for them. She let me make her lunch and all. We sat and chatted about the move and how she will miss us." Jared leads her to the room so he can change into his nirvana shirt and skinny jeans and he puts his lip rings back in. "I told her if she wanted she could always visit us. We are just moving a few blocks away into a real house molls."
"Ling min said she couldn't just barge in, You know." Jared laughs quietly and hugs molly to him and looks at her "ling min is practically our grandma. She's going to want to see little david when he's born. We will have enough rooms for her to visit."
Bri knocks on the door four times. Just like the sound of drums in doctor who. Jared breaks away from molly and runs to the door to let bri in. He picks her up in a hug amd spins her and molly forgets for a second that bri is a lesbian and she gets a little jealous and thinks. " I wish jared would do that to me...
Wait....she's lesbian....and im pregnant..
He can't spin me and crush me like he use to...im horrible"
Jared puts bri down and shuts the door behind them and leads them both to the couch and they csit and set up Netflix. "So ladies, what should we watch to get this party started? Horror or anime?"
Bri thinks and molly and her yell out in unison "horror!" They smile at each other and jared puts on a movie about a Ouija board and then he sits between them both as bri lights up a blunt.
After about 8 bowls and 3 blunts molly decides she's too sleepy to pull an all nighter and heads off to bed after giving jared a kiss on the cheek and bri a hug. Jared looks at bri and laughs" bro that monster really just tried to get that dog" bri breaks into a fit of giggles and rolls to the floor and looks at jared. "Dude...you are so far gone...but did you see that guys nip?"
Jared squints trying not to laugh as he leans forward. "Yep. That is one hundred percent male nip on that dead body...i swear he's breathing too."
In the bedroom molly tries to get comfy but can't shake the pain she's feeling in her stomach and then she feels her water break and she yells. "JARED COME HERE. MY WATER BROKE!"
Jared and Bri both run to the room and help her out of bed into some sandals and runs out to jareds car. Jared slides into the back with molly as Bri drives to the hospital a few blocks away and calls her wife that is a doctor there. " Jessie babe. Mollys is having her baby tonight meet us at the emergency entrance. Mhm. I love you too. Bye." Bri slips her phone in her pocket and pulls into the hospital parking lot.
Jessie stood outside with two nurses and a wheelchair as bri pulls up and jared helps molly out the car and too the wheelchair. Bri drives to the closest parking spot and jumps out and locks the car to catch up to jared and molly and her wife as they wheel molly to the delivery room and get her into the ready room.
Jared and bri sit in the room with molly as she sleeps with baby david next to her hospital bed. Jared leans against Bri and yawns before whispering "dude. Are you still high...we need to call Terrance and tell him we won't make it to work in half an hour."
Bri looks up at jared and grunts as she stands and walks out the room to go make the call. Molly wakes up from the sound of the door closing. "Where's bri going? She's not leaving is she?" Jared shakes his head and holds her hand. " nah. She went to call our boss and tell him we won't be in today. That we will stop by though."
