Gold and Kilk started packing and went to the airport. "Hope you're not too excited to meet my cousin" giving Kilk a good morning tease. Kilk let out a big smile "You are really going to push through this teasing huh"
Gold was interrupted by a phone call. Glaire calling... (Gold's enchanting cousin)
"Hey glair." gold answered the call. "Mom and I arrived in Japan already. Let's go out and have lunch once you arrive. Meet us at the airport. We miss you so much already" she told Kilk to let him know. Kilk agreed. "Yes, sure. We will give you a call as soon as we arrive. I miss you and aunt big time." Glair kissed her on the other line and dropped the call.
They arrived at the airport around 11 in the morning. Gold took her phone out to call her cousin but when she glanced outside she was already there smiling at her.
They gave each other a big hug and laughed. "l missed you so much. You look well. Mom is waiting inside the restaurant already." Glair said.
Gold asks Kilk to come closer and introduce him. "Kilk this is my cousin Glair Harph and Glair this is my friend Kilk Toupe" She gave Kilk a teasing stare and laugh. Kilk smiled at Gold and offered his hand to Glair for a shake.
Glair never saw Gold this energetic for a long time. She smiled at Kilk and shook his hand. "It's lovely to meet you," Kilk said.
"It's very nice to meet you. Let's go see mom!"
The three laugh as they tell each other stories on their way to the restaurant.
"Hi, Auntie!" Gold excitedly greeted Glair's mom. "you're adorable as always my lovely niece" Glair introduced Kilk to her mom and Gold started telling stories about him.
Glair's mom is pretty amazed about Kilk. "she likes you." Gold tease Kilk. He couldn't resist letting out a laugh. "You're still on this teasing"
Glair's mom suddenly got a call. She had to attend an emergency meeting. "I hate to leave but the call is really important and I have to deal with it. Please take my daughter with you guys while I'm gone. I will be back soon. It's very nice seeing you here Gold and Kilk." They nodded and smiled back at her. " Please have a safe trip."
After having Lunch they went straight to the hotel.
Luckily, they booked the same hotel. The hotel management automatically gave them a room near Glairs.
Kilk booked a car right away and let Glair plan the trip.
After taking a little rest. "You guys packed up already? Let's get going." Gold asked. "Let's go to Mount Fuji today." Glair is pretty excited.
At Mount Fuji...
Gold ran straight to the skiing receptionist as soon as they arrived. She is so excited to go skiing that she started skiing right away. As if she's not with anyone.
Kilk and Glair were left together. Since it was Glair's first time she needed Kilk to assist her. "you're a fast learner" Kilk said to Glair. "Thanks, Never thought I'd ever try this since I got no one to go with. Who taught you?" Glair asks Kilk. "I used to ski with my dad when I was younger." Kilk saw her staring and felt uneasy.
"Let us ask Gold to try the Cable car" Glair calls out to Gold. "Gold. Let's go try the Cable car together." They both saw Gold lose her balance and fall. They ran to her worried. "I'm okay." She raised her hand while laughing so loud. They both help her up with a smile on their faces.
Gold really loves the view and how Kilk and Glaire are so comfortable with each other but she just kept it to herself since she doesn't want to ruin the moment.
After the adventures and activities in the mountains. They're pretty tired but would rather drive back to the hotel. Gold went to sleep at the back of the car.
Kilk woke her up when they arrived at the hotel. "Hey, wake up. Let's go get some drinks at the bar first before we rest." Kilk said. Gold gave them a no-reaction look. "Yes. Go. I'm going to rest for tonight. You two enjoy the night." She ran to the elevator and the two were left dumbfounded. "What's with her?" Glair asked. "Oh nothing she's just tired." they both laugh.
At bar...
A drunk guy starts walking towards Glair. "Hey, you're very pretty. I will buy you a drink" Kilk stared at the man while Glair raised her eyebrows. She was about to say a word but Kilk reacted first. "Not happening. She's with me." The man got pissed. "Who the fuck cares" He is pretty drunk to argue but he left mumbling words.
They both started laughing. "So, Is Gold alright? She doesn't usually like trips like this. I'm so glad she finally did." Kilk gave her a sad look. "Well, she's not doing well. That's the truth." Glair took a sip of her drink. "I can tell but she seems comfortable around you and That's really great." Kilk Agreed "I kinda saved her from a moment of sadness a week ago." Glair sigh. "Is this about Cale again? She really loves that guy." Kilk laughs "She sure does." They ended up talking about Gold and Cale all night till dawn.
