Despite being an outcast from the group, Mandy managed to grasp the task assigned to her. Morgan only gave them few information about the task and also the mechanics of the task which is to protect their chosen leader and capture their opponent leader to earn their points.
Mandy thought that the Rulers assigned to them will help them in their task but it's actually not the case. They will only held responsible for the groups information about the task.
Its not a big problem, but as for Mandy she could hardly interact in the group. There is none familiar faces she know in the group aside from Morgan. Even though they personally trained her, she was not crazy enough to show she was close to them that might add fuel to the students who resent her.
As of now she arrived in her assigned location, each of them was stationed in different areas so that they could really manipulate the movement of any intruder of the enemy's group. They will only assign two students to guard their leader, while the rest was scattered in different places. Since a GPS will be used in the task, they could easily tract down the movement of each group and their position. They could also know an intruder will enter their boundary. Only they know where their leader was positioned, its a matter of how they could manipulate their opponent movements so that they will never capture their leader. As for them they should try to figure out where the opponents leader was positioned since they only know who the assigned leader was but not their location, so must be vigilant to inform each member what their infos in each location. That's why they were paired in each location, but in Mandy's case she was alone in the area. Who could she blame? No one wants to be with her.
As she checked her GPS, she noticed she was too far away to their leader. They do not depend on her much. It was most likely not the route that the opponent group would take.
Inspecting each corner as if she could possibly encounter a member of the opponent group, a huge quake occured which means they already started to move. She checked again her GPS device, she noticed red dots indicates the enemy's location. She was indeed right in her intuition since as she saw the red dots moved it was way too far from her location.
Is she just going to watch what will happen? or she would go to the enemy's location? She could hardly decide since she might interrupt her group's plan.
She was instantly interupted in her train of thought when another beeping sound in her GPS sounded. She looked intently since it was going in her direction. She was also alert since it was not just one but four of them. Few minutes passed as their figures surfaced in Mandy's location.
One of them smirked, as they started to laughed uncontrollably which is ominous to hear personally.
"What are they even thinking not dividing their group correctly" a huge horned blueish big footed monster. Mandy's body was only a quarter of its size.
"Yah right, while they fought exhaustedly we will finish them separately" exclaimed proudly by a long brown haired creature with a sharp fang and claws.
"They never thought we would finish them all off. Not just the leader but we will catch them all." a long sharp eared creature, jumping excited from what is going to happen.
"You should better give up if you dont want to feel pain if you resist." warned by the last one. It had a golden figure, like a flowing gold liquid all over its body except for the masked face floating above mid of its body.
They were not able to recognise Mandy since they decided to wear cloak to manipulate the enemy. They felt not pressured since they advantage in numbers. The blueish monster came forward towards her.
"I got this guys." announcing his advance while cracking both of its hands preparing to attack. Analysing their capabilities before she counter them, she avoided the punches and tackle of the blueish monster. The longer the fight continues, the shorter their temper gets.
" Bethel what the hell are you up to? Just finish it off!" shouted by the gold masked creature. It looked to the the long sharped eared creature and nodded.
"Got it, Gilda. Bunt will finish it off instantly." jumping fastly towards Mandy tried to tackle her but she easily evaded it. Good thing she was trained really well by the Rulers, she could easily guess their moves. The fight still continues even though there were two of them against her.
"Enough of this nonsense, too much time just wasted just to subdue that." They all at once attacked her. She still hasn't learned the attack of the remaining two, so she use the flaws of the first two to counter them.
"Bethel watch where you- AHHHHRGH!" BAAM! as they collided. it was the hairy monster who stumbled with its hair swinging ferociously.
"The Hell with you Hilden! You're swinging your hair towards me!" complained by Bunt who almost tripped.
"You are all useless!" another complain by Gilda, which graciously passed them. With its liquidised body, she could easily move.
"You! Since earlier you haven't spoken and not revealing yourself. You're just avoiding our attacks! Right now you will never get out from my grasp." Gilda declared as she vaporised in the thin air and suddenly Mandy felt heavyness in her body.
'What is happening?' she tried to break free from the sensation.
"Its the end." a voice whispered. Mandy felt the shortness of her breathing as her body felt stinging.
'This is not the end yet you moron' Mandy thought as she focuses her mind. Evntually Mandy's body disintegrated just like Gilda. That also made the both four of them surprised. 'How is that possible?' same thoughts occurred to them. Using only a short span of time Mandy successfully put the restriction devices in each four of them, which she successfully subdued them. She slowly formed back to her form holding the leash which connects to them.
All of the sudden, all lights turned on which illuminate the one dimmed place.
"Announcing the first group to capture the leader none other than Lord Morgan's group. Please gather to the waiting room for the further continuation of the other groups task."
Still holding the leash, Mandy take the way to the waiting area guided by the GPS. Along with the powerless four creature she did not struggle to dragged them with her, since if they do something else they will be electrocuted.
As she get nearer the entrance, she saw some injured monsters which was being healed. As she examined them, she never saw any of them carrying leash which indicates they captured one of them.
As she was inside, many heads turned towards her jaw dropping with wide eyes.
"I can't believe this"
"Who would have guess?"
"We were tricked!"
A guard came to Mandy as it was asking Mandy to give the leash, so she gave it. It placed the ring to each of the four devices as the restrictions undone to them.
"Argh! Finally freed. It felt like forever." Bethel cracking its neck.
"..." the remaining three was speechless staring in thin air.
As the they were dragged by Bethel towards their respected group, the uninjured member approached them and rained with many queries about what happened. They did not get the answers since nobody spoke.
Mandy looking at her group awkwardly, she headed benches away from them. She was unsure who she needs to approach to ask what really happen.
'Huh? Gilda? I have heard that name earlier.' It only dawned on her that she's the one who captured the leader of the opponent's team.
