Walking in an ancient architectural structure with intricate design in each column, high ceiling with a wide window which sunlight could pass through and dazzling floors that could be mistaken as a heritage sight for a tourist destination. But despite the marvelous beauty of the place, there are a peculiar sight of it which is different features of creatures going around like it was a normal place for them. Right! If a real human being was here, he or she could scream all day long until losing its breath to even believe this is real.
Well, that's what typical human being would react alone in a place full monsters. Knowing that you're the only human being freely walking here, Mandy got used to it and walking silently and wishing that all of this was a nightmare.
She can't turn back time, even if she wants to. She blamed it on that horrible night which changed her whole life. If only she did not go on her own outside of that place, things might not end like this.

Classical music, small talks, and laughter enveloped the whole room as Mandy was heading out of the venue finding a quiet and peaceful place. Gatherings and socializing were one of her weaknesses that she could only last a minute before she feels nauseous.
She tried to protest to her parents, but they would never hear her out. They would always tell her to overcome this slowly since she would soon be a grown-up. So, they start dragging her whenever a gathering will be held.
Mandy's parents are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, so most of their friends and coworkers are present. Every time a guest greets them along with their sons and daughters, it can't be helped if she is mostly dragged around and introduced to each of them.
"Hey, it's been so long to see you!" along with a light kiss on the cheeks of Mandy's mother, which was also reciprocated by her mother smiling. She also saw his father making a handshake with the man, along with the woman, who gladly greeted her mother. Making a chance for her to escape, since they have no children along with them.Â
Slowly walking away from them, she managed to go outside the venue, which is full of people chatting away. She found herself in a garden full of different kinds of flowers with a wooden bench, not far from the event hall since she could still see the venue hall.
As soon as she had a seat, she slowly took her high-heeled shoes off. Feeling relieved, she inhaled and breathed out the fresh air of the garden. She had blisters on both feet, which she flinched at as soon as she touched them.
Half an hour has already passed, but no one is looking for her. It became chilly as a wind blew; it was already night outside, so she couldn't help but embrace herself. 'I should have worn a more comfortable outfit than this,' she said to herself.
"According to the listed program, the event should be finished at midnight." She looked back to the venue hall, which was filled with laughter and dancing people. So she stayed a bit longer and enjoyed the peaceful place.
Suddenly, a strong wind blew past her, making the ends of her hair stand straight. She looked around since she felt a weird sensation.
"Maybe I should head back now," she said as she stood, wearing her shoes again, leaving the bench. Along the way to the venue hall, she felt someone was following her. Glancing sideways, she wondered if a shadow of the stranger could be seen, but she failed to see it. Making herself even more ridiculous, she turned around abruptly and made a 'Graaahh!' Sound effect as she raised both her arms, imitating a grizzly bear. But still, no one is behind her.
She turned back around, but to her surprise, a group of bats suddenly blocked her way. She freaked out, waving her hands around, trying to wipe them off. Successfully, the bats were gone. It was too late to realize her whole body was collapsing. 'What's going on? '
Only the sky above and two silhouettes came into her view. Unable to move or speak, she could only wish someone could help her. She was also scared since she didn't know who came to her with the bright light of the moon blocking their faces, which were looking down on her. That's the last thing she remembers as soon as she loses consciousness.

A tap on her head made her able to awaken. Slowly adjusting her eyes, she saw a child-like creature, which was actually an elder elf of dwarflike size with a pointed ear.
"Miss Mandy Frost," a monotone voice said in front of her as the teacher cleared her throat. "Have you done daydreaming?" She was like a tomato right now, controlling its already sour mood.
Mandy was a little startled when she realized where she was right now. Most of the students were controlling their laughter since they didn't want the teacher's attention turn to them. Standing straight up, Mandy composed herself. 'Oh! Its Miss Silva' their homeroom teacher. She was discussing the rules and regulations of the school until she started discussing the history of the school. Once the teacher saw her full attention, she went back talking about the last topic. Good thing she was not in the mood to scold her new student so much, Mandy felt relieved since its her first day.
