The sun slowly disappear from the horizon, when Mandy arrived at her room. She was late to return since the clinic she was taken was far from their dorm. It was a long distance of walking, but she manage to enjoy the view of the place. She was tired that she slump in the soft bed. She did not bother to change, that she quickly drifted to sleep.
Sighing infont of the gate, she entered the ground of Monster Academy once again. Mandy knows very well that she need to be careful in anything she do from now on. With her usual route, she manage to arrive at her room. She was greeted by loud voices from her classmates. She look around and saw Kate and Cory, they were together. As soon as their eyes meet, they looked away from her.
Mandy could understand why they did that, she blamed herself that she quickly attached from them. Niether she became their true friend or not, she could hardly trust them nor she herself be honest with them. Well, from the start she already planned to be this way. The lesser she interact with other creature, the lesser of chances of trouble.
She sat in her seat silently, when their first professor arrived. He was holding a paper, afterwads he clear his throat. He scanned the whole room, when his gaze landed at Mandy. Mandy was nervous when she realized it. She waited what he was going to say.
"Okay, Mandy Frost. You no longer belong to this class. You will be transfered, here is your new schedule" He stated, Mandy did not wait the professor to give it for her. She went down and get the paper. Many gazes are thrown at her now, and the room exploded with gossips. She could clearly hear it.
"She's the newbie right? How come she transfered just within a day from this class"
"Yeah right, this never happens before. Once you enter a certain class you hardly transfer easily like this."
"Specially, the rank exam should be the one which will determine whether you will transfer or not"
"I wonder where she will be transfered."
Too much attention, she was never used to it. She quickly went out the room and headed where the paper tells her.
In her way, she hardly saw any student around as she pass many corridor, until she reach an end to of it. She gaze at the door, which she slowly turned after she knocked trice.
"So she's finally here. Have your seat now Mandy" a beautiful lady said as soon as Mandy entered the room. She manage to find a seat, which is at the back part of the room. She noticed something in her seat, it was a note.
'You'd better watch your behaviour in here' there is no name in it, but Mandy know who might tell her that. He should not bother about it, she already know her place.
As soon as she have her seat, all around her are attentive at the professor's discussion. So she just followed what they do.
Until the lunch break arrived, most of the creature went out.
"Hey" someone called as she went out the room. A group blocked her way. The way they look, they are pissed off.
"We were calling you, is that your way of annoying us?"
"Sorry 'bout that, I didn't know you were calling for me. Then, what do you need from me?"
"How did you manage to transfer in our class?" she directly asked Mandy. Even Mandy doesn't know why.
"Honestly, I myself don't know."
"Are you making us fools, where the heck are you from? Why would they treat you like this?"
"We've known all the creature living in here, but I've never seen you before"
Mandy thought there was no interogator in this place, but she was wrong.
"We would never accept you here"
"You should have a special exam, a challenge perhaps from our class"
They would really not easily accept Mandy since she came from the lowest class and transfered to their class, which is the highest class in MA. Mandy thoughtlessly accepted the challenge. She never thought it was a normal kind of exam.
The group smirked at her respond, satisfied by her reply. They turned and walkaway from her. It was so fast that the challenge which Mandy participated circulated in the whole campus. Until it reach the rulers, they easily accepted it and they would be the one to expectate the said event.
