After that incident in her first subject, a lot of glances throws towards her and a little murmurs. Luckily she sat behind them, so when another teacher enter the room, all of their attention was back to the front.
As the morning classes were done, she prepares to head out to have her lunch. But before she could even lift her things, a pair of shadow blocked her way.
'What is it this time?' She could only slowly look at them as she was greeted with familiar image of creatures since she could usually see it in book stories while she was in the human world. "What can I help you with?" Mandy was waiting for something they would like to do with her.
"Hi, I'm Coraline by the way" first creature, A half fish man with her pointy ears, green scales of some part of her body and with a sharp teeth. She only waved in front of her and smiled widely.
"Enough Cory, you're scaring her" the person behind her said as she set aside the nicknamed Cory.
"Anyway, I am Kate, the Class Representative in our batch. We came if you'd like us to guide you here since you're a new fellow. We would gladly as of any help we could to provide you and to make you feel comfortable being here"
Kate has a short black hair, a reddish complexion on her skin and a long tail behind her, a demon monster perhaps. The way she talk contradicts her appearance.
"Thank you all for your concern. But as it is, I am completely fine. I can handle myself. If you'll excuse me, I should go " she replied honestly to them. Leaving them behind, as she made her way to the dinning hall.
Before she enter the school, the headmaster already informed her all the things she had to know about the school. Even the regulations, curriculum, history, office faculties and even the Great Rulers in the school. Rulers, they purposely designated them to handle all other creature that causes troubles. They balances the environment in school. If there is a trouble, they settle it by a duel to discipline the loser by any condition they agreed on. That's why in her first period of class she fell asleep since she knows it already.
As she was about to open the door to leave, another wall hinder her way. It was not actually a wall it's a creature tall and big enough to block the door way. She could only lead her sight upward to see its face.
"Ophs, sorry i blocked your way" the giant creature stepped aside. Mandy could hardly believe that this creature was kind enough to gave her way.
"Thank you...?" she tried to confirmed its name.
"It's Jenny, you can call me Jen" she wave at her.
"Oh, ok... thanks Jenny" so she also waved back at her and walk out the room. She headed to the dinning hall. The hallway was again full of different types of creature that even Mandy never known before. She could not hardly believe that she was one of them. But, she's unsure if she were still welcome to be in this place.
Many glances are thrown at her, never blaming them since she still looks like a human being.
"I think she's the new student they were talking about" a bystander talk to her friends.
"That's her, I saw her yesterday with Madam Siera" another said as she passed by. 'Seriously, why does every time I enter some school this thing never been absent? Does being different really matter to them, as if I was an entertainment for them?' Mandy could not stop talking to her mind.
"I can't picture out any difference from her. She looks just like a human"
"Maybe that's her camouflage outside before she came here. Maybe she like it better than original look."
"Then what kind of monster is she?" the next creature ask.
Mandy could not help but feel uncomfortable in that situation. She felt that she was the center of attraction at that time.
Never did she know that, a group had already followed her. They saw what's going on so they get to her. One put her hands around Mandy's shoulder.
"Who says you were fine?" the creature said. In Mandy's recognition, it was their class representative Kate.
"We knew this would happen. Whenever there is a new fellow, this creatures who could not control their inner thoughts." Cory whispered in Mandy's other side. Walking with her hands in her pocket. There were three creatures added to them following behind. Mandy could not express any words as they dragged her towards their table in the dinning hall.
