*Throwback*
Reo was panting loudly, sweat rolling down his face, and his clothes covered in blood. He looked away as he was removing his katana from his enemy's lungs. The blood was scattering everywhere as the cold and lifeless body of the man fell down.
Still panting, Reo joined them on the ground, growling, his wound was extremely painful... He had been sent by his father to kill people again...
He worked alone, killed all of them, these random people that worked in this bar. They all looked random, but were actually another Yakuza clan that his father had planned on exterminating for a while... they had been causing problems lately, and were meddling with his business. And he never liked people who he couldn't control, so he sent him... as usual.
Leaning back on the wall, Reo throws a quick glance at the white clothe he was covering his wound with, it was soaked in blood. Earlier he had fought a few men while getting inside, and one actually was able to strike his abdomen with a stab.
He was hardly breathing and staring at the void... he had to get out of there. He shall never die... or at least not like this, his father would never let him rest in piece...
As he tried his best getting up, a small cry echoed behind him. Turning around, he noticed a child hiding behind the counter of the bar. He was crying, scared for his life...
It was dark so the child probably didn't know he had noticed him...
Reo looked away quickly. He had never enjoyed killing kids... And he actually never enjoyed killing in general... But he never had much choice. That was his life. Since he was a boy he was trained to kill, he never had these normal childhood experiences like others. Only killing, training, threatening, ordering around. He had a duty, he was meant to be the heir of his father, he was supposed to defend his clan, and well.
Sighing loudly, Reo knew damn well he had to kill the kid. It was the thing to do. The kids of yakuzas always, always blossomed in a bad way. This kid would grow up resenting his clan then try to be vengeful of his clan. His father always taught him that even the most unthreatening enemy was still an enemy.
As he was walking towards the counter, the cries went louder, he was praying... praying to be spared... he was scared, and he had every reason to.

Alone in the apartment, Reo was staring right at the burning flames of the chimney, in the darkness. It was already 4AM. He wasn't feeling the slightest sleepy.
Ever since he had met this woman, he felt annoyingly sensitive about everything.
He tried his best, these past months to stop thinking about Urie, but with her around it had been extremely hard. They were literally the same person inside, same character and same attractive soul... Urie always made his human and emotional part stand out and he hated it, but now, knowing that this woman could do the same literally angered him.
And he thought that letting her leave would help him forget about all of this but it didn't help.
A few weeks ago when she left, he wanted to know exactly where she went, asked his men to restrain the building and allow no men inside. It was absolutely ridiculous but he couldn't help it... Any woman that attracted his attention was his... it had always been that way...
He wanted her, entirely. He had actually obsessed over her even before they met. She didn't know it but he had been following her every movements ever since his men told him about her researches. He didn't think that much over it. She was just a pretty woman he wanted to play with...
So he had his men get him into this stupid party where they finally met. She had always been cute in his eyes but that day she was stunning. Dirty thoughts were filling his mind at the time. And if she wasn't actually that drunk that day he might have had his way with her...
Reo had woman lining up for him, countless whores worked under him and would gladly offer services if he asked. But he found his way interested in this woman. She wasn't special or anything, just interesting, eye catching... she had that vibe that reminded him of Urie...
And his curious and playful self actually entertained her. But it was a bad move. Because now, she was taking over his thoughts... he would find himself obsessing over her in his busiest times...
He wanted her whole, and he would have her... he wouldn't let anyone in his way not her or even David. He was actually livid when his men called to warn him about David.
He wasn't a threat or anything but he knew they were acquainted and if they were close enough, he would try his best to make her walk away from him. It was actually the right thing to do, but he couldn't let it happen. Never. She was his.
Despite how mad she was, how far she went. He would make her come right back.
_______
"Oh My God Kanna?! Is this really you?! Are you okay?! Where are you?! I've been so worried!"
Hearing Yui's voice was so calming. It had been a whole month and everything in her life went left in a second. And scared to lose her she had to distance herself from her... but now, she didn't really have much choice but to call her. She was feeling helpless, alone and really needed to see her.
"I-..."
"Are you crying??! What's wrong? Where are you calling from ? I'll immediately come pick you up!"
It wasn't dramatically raining, thank God. And as she looked around in the little shop there was literally no one to witness her tears. It was 4 in the morning and she wanted was just sleep and Yui.
"Please come." She finally said.
It took Yui 40 minutes to get there and when she finally spotted her friend, the young lady rushed in the store and hugged her tight. Kanna felt like crying her eyes out but she hated crying. Even though she was desperate she didn't want to. Not because of him.
After a 5 minute long hug, her friend faced her with worried eyes.
"You look so gloomy... are you okay?! I've been crazy worried! It's been like a month!"
"I know... I'll tell you... just please... let's leave..." she said with her eyes down.
Yui could tell she had been drinking and she had definitely also been tearing, but she said nothing.
"Alright let's go."
The drive was silent, Kanna just wanted to sleep and forget about all of it. The fact that she almost jumped in a relationship with the Oyabun of Japan's mafia, the fact that she was crazy over him or even the fact that she was probably in danger now... she didn't want to care about any of that just sleep and forget about this man.
When the car finally stopped, she noticed the neighborhood was unknown to her, and as she stared, Yui softly smiled.
"I kinda moved out of my parent's house a few weeks ago yeah..."
"Oh..."
She felt sad realizing she had missed so much of her friends life.
The building was neat. Not too flashy but she could tell it was definitely way out of her pocket. As they reached the 4th floor, her friend led her to the apartment and they then sat down on the bed. She brought her some quick ramen noodles and they ate in silence.
It was just hard to say it, to talk about it. Nothing really happened, and that's what offended her the most. That despite the fact that she had disappeared for a whole month, it wasn't worth it at all. In the end, he was just playing.
She knew Yui was waiting, just afraid to ask. So when she was done with her noodles she sighed loudly.
"I'm so sorry Yui..."
"Heyyyy... don't be..."
"I'm just an idiot..."
"Don't say that... what happened?"
"I've been played, that's it..."
"By who?! Last time I heard of you, some guy pulled a prank at my dad and you disappeared! I was worried!"
"Yeah... that wasn't a prank.. I actually got kidnapped..."
"Holy s- What?! Kanna are you fucking joking?"
"I'm not..."
"So then you were really in danger when they called my-
"Don't worry... they did nothing to me... surprisingly I got saved... by a friend who I thought was a detective..."
"Thought?!"
Seeing the confused look on her face was amusing but she sighed again.
"I can't tell you everything Yui. Because I love you too much and I dealt with really dangerous guys... they might try you to reach me one day..."
"What the fuck..." she whispered before tossing away her noodles.
Kanna smiled before hugging her.
"Thank you for being here."
"Hey... you know that's what I'm here for. I just wish you're not too hurt... even though you can't tell me..."
As she listened, Kanna opened her eyes, staring at the void thinking about him again. Hurt? Yeah he really hurt her feelings but it wasn't not like they had anything going on.... at least she realized the asshole he was before it got too late.
"I'll survive."
___
The next morning was awful. Kanna had a hangover and Yui had to leave for work early, so she was left alone, with her thoughts.
Staring at the ceiling, Kanna sighed loudly before throwing a quick look at the window on the side of the bed. The sun was high in the sky, bright, she would probably consider it a beautiful day if the light wasn't that much burning her eyes and making her headache worse.
After a few minutes trying her best to stay awake, she finally got up on her feet. Yawning as she was walking around in the room, she noticed a mirror on the hair dresser.
She looked a hot mess.
Her long hair was everywhere, her eyes were puffy. She had cried too much the night before. Dark circles were haunting under her eyes, she looked simply horrible.
Sighing again the young woman tried to forget about everything that had happened the night before. It just didn't happen.
They hadn't seen each other for a month and she had a new job. She was done with this man. She didn't need all of that... a very bad energy was floating around everytime he was around. She would be dumb to underestimate the signs.
After taking a shower, as she was eating her breakfast, she picked up her phone and noticed 14 calls from David and 8 texts.
2 were from her mom, telling her about how her grandmother was doing lately and 6 were from David.
"Kanna I don't know where you are right now but you really need to trust me on that."
"You shouldn't be around him at all"
"It would be a bad thing if word got around that you're involved with him."
"In this world people don't play fair. They would hurt you if it would make Reo's smile fade."
"Please walk away."
"They did the same to Urie... Think about your family..."
After reading all of them, Kanna sighed before leaving the phone on the table and catching her hair in a growl.
He was right. She should never go to him. He was a criminal. His world was different, way too different from hers. He was dangerous, in his world they killed people for fun. In his world they were all ruthless. How could she ever ? This was straight toxic...
He was right... especially about the Urie part. And she wondered how she dealt with it? She was probably different, since she was from a Yakuza family herself. But it probably wasn't easy right? Him leaving every time not having the slightest idea if it was the last time she was seeing him.
That life was just too complicated, dangerous and frightening for her to get involved. He was hot, hell she was terribly attracted to him and that was an undeniable fact. But he had too much things going on in his life that made her think if it really was worth it.
But her curious self couldn't help it. And just moments later she was on google looking up Urie and every article related to her.
One caught her attention as it was titled "Urie Makihano a flower in the desert". As she read the lines of the articles, she felt her eyes go wide.
The article was detailing personal information that she didn't even know about, and she studied this case for months. From what the article said, Urie had forced multiple times some Yakuza members to turn themselves in when they touched innocent people. She spent thousands and millions of yen on orphanage donations and other facilities that helped out people. And these were not some random words out together, there were really posted multiple pictures of her with children and foundation executives. She really was a good person from what she read.
The woman loved art and plants and had multiple gardens and studios under her name. She spent her time giving out for the poor and helping people in need. She was a great soul.
Shocked, Kanna leaned further in her seat before putting her phone away. This was crazy... And it really caught her attention more now, why would such a beautiful innocent soul kill herself? And if she didn't who did? And Reo? What did he think of it?
No! She had stop!
Stop thinking about them, about her, about him. It was bad idea. If she dug up something she should've never have known it would get dangerous... very...
As she was lost in her thoughts, she heard the door open.
"Yui? You got back earlier? You told me you would be coming back in the aftern-
As she turned around facing the person who just walked inside the apartment, she couldn't believe her eyes.
He was really here, nonchalantly looking at her, his hair in a bun, his hands in his pockets. He was dressed in all black as usual. But she still found him even more attractive then the day before... no... shouldn't be there.
Kanna hopped on her feet, walking away from him quickly.
"Why are you here?! How did you get in?" She spit, she was stuttering, nervous.
He smiled, he was mocking her question. It was evident. How could she ever think that she could ever walk away from him? It wouldn't take an hour for his men to track her down... she was his now... she had to get it right.
He walked slowly towards her before stopping right in front of her.
"Where did you think you were going?"
He was dominating her by his tall figure, she had to look up and it was a terrible idea. He was so handsome, his long lashes contrasting with his almond eyes, staring right at her.
"I-
"I have nothing to say to you... you shouldn't be here..." she finally said, fake-confident.
"Neither should you." He added, nonchalant, a mocking smirk on his face.
So then she rolled her eyes and walkrd away.
"I know what you're doing! I told you I'm not going back to you. Leave it."
"What makes you think you have the choice?"
She turned again to face him, he was still playful with his gaze and it was so annoying.
"I'm not going back."
"You're not staying here either." He orders while scornfully eyeing Yui's place.
Her breathing was fast. She hated how much her earlier convictions were slowly fading away and her hormones were filling her whole. She wanted him... bad. But it was a bad thing... she should resist. That was the good thing to do... so why couldn't she? Why didn't she?
