Standing in front of a cave stood a tall, lanky man, and a woman with more muscle than an elephant. The man was looking inside with his hand stroking his chin, as if contemplating something. While the woman set down her war hammer and then said in child voice "So, was he here like those bandits said?"
"Hmmm... it's looks like it, there's the arrow, and you can see some potion bottles. There isn't any traps that I can see. Shall we go in?" replied the man with a voice that captivates those listening, think Morgan freeman.
"Don't underestimate Germal. He was in charge of an entire region after all. We'll wait for the others. I can also see a map of some kind." She replied.
Twenty minutes later three more arrived. One of them looked like a child barely old enough to walk, it would be hard to tell if the kid was a boy or girl at first glance. Another looked like an old monk, with a smile on his wrinkled face, and a slight hunch. The last one seemed to be shrouded in an alternating mist of black and white.
"Why are you always in that child form? I still can't get over that one of the Tang's assassins is a child. Hell, I can't even tell if you're male or female." said the lanky man as he shived at the sight of the child.
"Well, this form is my favorite, most aren't cautious of a kid, makes my job easier. And you already know I am neither male or female." replied the kid in the high pitched voice you'd expect from one.
"Haha, I can attest to that, you're great in bed, as both a male and female." Laughed the muscular woman.
"Enough, I want to get back to my experiments. Why haven't you searched the cave yet?" replied the person shrouded in mist. Their voice sounding like white noise.
"Take it easy, they may be strong, but they don't know much else. I doubt that they would be able to find any of Germal's illusions before they already died. Heck, even in death they would probably be still living in the illusions." the monk said in their rescue, but he was still laughing. It hurt the pride of both the lanky man and muscular woman.
"There are no traps, and the only illusion I can see is on that map. Let's get this over with." said the shrouded person as they walked inside.
A few moments later, they finished searching the cave and gathered around the map.
"This is the only real clue. Aside from the fact that we can assume he cleansed the poison. And its pointing to the neighboring region, but thats only an illusion. Let me try and dispell it." said the monk before he started to chant and perform different hand signs.
"Holy shit, I guess the reports of him being a master of illusions are true, there are so many layered on top of each other, and all of them point to different regions. But there is one that isn't an illusion." The monk finally said after he finished chanting, while he sat down to recover.
The others just stared at him. A few minutes later the shrouded person approached and asked. "Where is it leading to?"
"To the sea." replied the monk. 'I guess he wants to hide in some remote island he is going there.' thought the monk.
"We better hurry then, he'll be impossible to track once he goes out to sea." said the kid. The rest nodded then left the cave.

Aaron and Ritz are walking along one of the main trade routes, disguised as a wondering merchant and his daughter. They had met another caravan traveling, and told them a story about being robbed by bandits.
"Wow, I can't believe you got away. Most bandits kill their victims." said one of the hired guards with a look of shock and admiration.
"Yeah, I am surprised too. They ignored us as they looked through our wagon luckily. It let us escape without them noticing." Aaron said smiling.
-Ding!-
-Quest completed, Recover!-
'What? I thought that was completed when I removed the poison?' the fact that the quest just now completed shocked Aaron. 'Technically removing the poison was only half of the quest. You also had to recover your power, which you just did.' the evil system informed.
