Briar wore a brown dress that represents the Earthborn Realm. It was simple yet stunning. The dress was a perfect fit. It showcased her perfectly proportioned body. The ombre effect of the skirt was really eye-catching. The upper part of the dress covers the cleavage to the neck yet reveals her slender arms. She matched her dress with her crown. A crown that resembles the color of copper. It also compliments her auburn hair.
The Lord of the Fireborn Realm smiled as he saw her.
"Greetings, my lord," Gustavo, the Lord of Earthborn Realm said.
"I see. You already prepared my bride," he said. He went towards Briar then he lifted her chin to look at her eyes. "You look beautiful..."
Briar felt her cheeks flushed red.
"...only with your crown," he said then he left her chin go. What he said annoyed Briar.
"Let's go," the Lord of the Fireborn Realm said then he fled. Briar fumed as she followed him. A servant also followed them, carrying all of Briar's luggage.
They rode the Lord of Fireborn's carriage, but before the servant could hop in, the Lord stopped her.
"You won't be needed," he said. "I'll provide everything for her, including servants. Tell it to Gustavo."
The servant nodded then went back to the castle with Briar's luggage.
"What the what what?" Briar exclaimed. She couldn't believe that she would come to a new place without any of her belongings or a servant that she's familiar with. She embraced her arms in annoyance then looked at the window.
"Do not worry, I'll provide everything that you'll ever need," he said then he looked at the opposite window.
The entire trip was boring. None of them spoke.
Briar enjoyed looking at the view outside, she watched as the brown mountains became volcanoes. The strong color of brown and green became all hues of red. She suddenly missed home. She doesn't want to leave. She looked at the Lord beside her. Then an image of Carlos popped in her mind. She doesn't love this man but she has to marry him.
"For the Realm," she blurted. The Lord's gaze went to her. He didn't say any word but his index finger went to his lips, ordering her to stay silent without speaking. She rolled her eyes then looked back at the windows.
