Synopsis
With Celestial Witch’s descending, mankind learned dark magic. With disciples all over Woodland, she has gained more devotees. Thousands of years ago, during the great war, she sealed some gifted ones in a dimension. While she had succeeded in sealing even a Mage, he injured her, forcing her to hide. Years have gone by; the gifted ones are still sealed and she is still in seclusion. Whether she is healed or not, that is yet to be discovered but her people are growing stronger. To stop her, another Mage is born. The new Mage is a young visual artist from South West. He comes from a humble background and is oblivious to the ways of the world. However, the ways of the gods are not for man to question. If they chose the young man to free Woodland from evil the witch minions are spreading despite his weak personalities, that is theirs to decide. All in all, Woodland has to be saved, the gifted ones must be freed and the Celestial Witch has to die.

Chapter 1 - Chapter One

"So, what do you think of this place? I know your mum won't let you come here alone, is it cool?" Eddie asked.

Beside him was Lulu, his significant other. They were sitting on a large rock just near the bank of Phrate, one of the largest rivers in Woodland. Cold breeze that brushed the surface of the waters before giving them a gentle caress made sitting there worthwhile. Added with feeling the breath of each other, they would never want the moment to end.

"Don't even mention her, she still thinks I am child." Lulu answered lowering her head indignantly.

Though she talked like a woman in her twenties, like her boyfriend Eddie, she was just ten this year. Even still, her curvaceous figure and boobs that barely shot from her chest could allure any man.

"They always think that way my love, the lashing papa gave me the other day is a proof enough."

They both laughed at his reminder. She reminded him of how he had run holding his shorts that wanted to be free of his waist as he wailed as if to wake the dead. They laughed and when it was over, she directed an affectionate look at him.

"Eddie, will you stay by my side till the end of time?" She asked, her tears already wetting her eyes before finding their ways on her cheeks.

"I can never imagine life without you, my love. It is my wish that I never leave your side. You however know we are under our parents; we don't know what move they can make." Eddie took her small hands into his. As he spoke, he fondled them softly.

They had met because they happened to share a flat which their parents had rented. With better jobs grinning from different places, they knew not when any of their parents would have to leave South West town. If that happened, separation was inexorable. Besides, where Eddie came from was within South West District, his parents could wake up one day that they wanted to go home. There was nothing Eddie could do to stop them then.

"You are right," She was a little disappointed as she locked her gaze to his, "But will you promise me one thing."

"Anything, Lulu." He gave her hands that were still in his a little squeeze.

"Eddie, we have known each other for the last one year. I do not want to imagine the end of everything we have shared during that period. Please promise me that even if circumstances are to separate us, you will still love me and I will always be your little girlfriend." She gave Eddie an intent look seemingly ready to see if the other fellow would only make a promise for the sake of it.

"Of course, dear one. I will always love you and you will always be mine." He said seriously.

The girl nodded in approval before a smile on one of her cheeks cracked her pretty face, "And be sure Lulu will always be yours no matter where she goes. You will be my boyfriend till the end of time."

After they exchanged an item each to symbolise their promise, they brought their heads together to engulf in some beautiful romance, but even before their lips touched...

"Eddie! Wake up!"

A soft voice sounded above Eddie's head. On his shoulder were continuous mild taps. Eddie woke up to meet Canya's bewildered gaze.

"You have been sleeping for hours in class now, what were you doing at night?" She asked in a shushed voice not wanting to make noise.

He barely heard what she said. This was because he had fallen into a daze as soon as he had woken up. He really wished that was not a dream. However, Canya's presence and the looks around him disagreed with his wishes.

"Eddie, the computer generated last made of aluminium was invented by a woman. What was her name and where did she come from?" Still in his daze, he heard Miss Kellen's voice reverberate.

Miss Kellen Isabella was his Computer-Generated Designs lecturer and one person he had been occasionally seeing since he was a young boy. However, since he joined the University of Noya two years ago to take Footwear Design as a course, hardly a day passed before he set his eyes on her.

"Are...you talking to me?" Eddie asked in confusion.

"Who else could I be talking to? The last time I checked you were the only Eddie in this class." Her sharp stare made him shudder a little bringing his attention to the lecturer. Even so, it did little to take away the sadness he felt inside him. It was a good thing she ended things with a 'please stop sleeping and be in class'.

'Lulu, do you still remember me like I do you?' He wondered. Thirteen years had gone by since he last saw her. They were children then, now they were grownups. He did not even know whether she was alive or not but, in his mind, she lived and gave him sleepless nights.

"...And that marks the end of our lecture today." Miss Kellen's voice came in a timely manner. Had she decided to continue even for a minute, she would have had to wake him up again and that would never had gone well with either of them. After all, they were good friends.
