Mr Ingard's full name is Jack Ingard. But due to formalities in this world, most people who have a lower status than themselves would usually call the latter by their last name. Only when the person with the higher status accepts you as his / her friend will you only be able to call them by their first name.

"Here, Claire." Jack carefully placed his son on his wife's side.
"Awww. He's so cute! Mwah mwah! Who's a good boy? Eh? Why is he so quiet?" when Claire was in the middle of kissing her son's cheeks, she noticed that the baby wasn't making a single noise. Shouldn't babies be usually crying? She looked at Matilda because she heard from outside that the baby was healthy.
Matilda answered carefully "My lady, it is not wrong that he is healthy. I've checked his vitals and he couldn't be any more healthier! But, I also found it quite strange that he was not crying as a newborn."
The trio then checked on the baby again to ensure that he wasn't sick or anything. The baby had his eyes closed all this time.
"Huh? Where am I? Where they able to bring me to the hospital?" When Matthew tried to move, he felt like he lacked strength in both his arms and legs. "Did they operate on me, making me feel weak?" He opened his eyes, only to be shocked at the sight before him. Three people, whose faces he didn't know, where staring at him blankly. And he was at a wooden, cottage-like room. What kind of hospital had this type of rooms?
"Huu wa-waryyuu?"He asked them.
Hiccup! The three people, Jack, Claire, and Matilda, were so shocked that they weren't able to mutter a single word. Even though it sounded kind of unclear, but did the baby just ask them who they were?
Matthew was even more shocked by his own voice. When did my voice get so cute— I mean so small? Did those damn doctors mess with me!? And why was I gibberish?
Before I could voice out another question or complaint, just as I waved my hand, I was confused. Why did my hands looked like they were from a baby? I looked around and saw my reflection on a silver pendant hanging on the neck of the man staring at me.

Claire picked up Matthew and gently carried him in her arms. She poked the baby's nose "Baby, baby! It's alright now, Mama's here!" Claire's voice seemed to affect the baby and Matthew stopped 'crying'.
Jack's shocked face hurriedly turned into one of loving and caring. He was so happy with this scene, his most beloved carrying his first born child.
Matilda was also visibly touched by the atmosphere in the room. She knew that the husband and wife tried really hard for years to give birth to a child of their own. They even thought that Jack had a problem with his thing down there...
"Jack, what should we call our son?" Claire looked at Jack before returning her gaze back to her son.
Jack placed his hands on his chin before coming up with a decision "Let us call him Matthew," As though looking for a confirmation, he asked Claire "Is that ok with you, Claire?"
"Matthew Ingard... has a nice ring to it. Ok then, from now on, our baby's name will be Matthew Ingard!"
Matthew couldn't believe what he was hearing, he was going to be called Matthew here as well? Was this fate? He just gave off a weak smile before finally sleeping in his mother's arms.
