This is the story of Reiki, a shunned, affinity-less, skill-less hero who will find his life turned upside down when his dark feelings contained throughout his life bring out the most menacing weapon that not even God can wield. *Ding* [Conditions met, Do you pledge your SOUL to Boukyaku?] Only to die immediately after at the hands of his bully. Chapter 1 - Prologue

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

An annoying alarm that signals the start of a new day...

"Hah〜"

Nothing could get me to cheer up for another day of school. 'School can't be so bad' is what most people might say, but this is as far from reality as it gets for me.

"Guess it's time to get ready huh?"

I get out of bed and start to get ready. I change quickly since I'm going to be late otherwise, but it's not like arriving late would be so bad, considering the hell I'll go through if I meet 'him'.

I take a long look in the mirror, I am Reiki Ishida, 18 years old, and before anyone has the chance to say anything, I AM A GUY!! I may have girlish looks but I am 100% a MAN. However, these girlish looks do constantly get me into trouble, I am constantly bullied because of my delicate appearance and my timidity.

Besides my girlish looks and introvert nature, I'm average in everything else, average grades, average height at 5.7 ft, average brown hair, average dark-brown eyes. Nothing really stands out about me, I am one of those persons who is simply lost in the crowd. But sadly, this does not happen when it should.

I finish getting ready and leave my house. By the way, I live alone. My parents died when I was very young. It is incredibly difficult to maintain this house. My uncle will likely make me pay him in the future for all the money he is spending on me right now. But that is a problem that I will have to handle in the future. I have enough concerns right now.

I let out a long sigh before making my way to school.

I am now sitting in my seat at the rightmost corner of the classroom, as far away from the teacher and 'him' as I can. But in the corner of my eye, I spot my daily hint of happiness, my classmate Sakura Kaneshiro, the perfect girl.

She is an absolute beauty. She has silky brown hair and attractive brown eyes. However her figure is absolutely dazzling, contrasting curves, moderate bust and pristine lips. And most importantly, a kindness which can rival that of a goddess.

There might be girls who are better looking, but there is no one who is kinder than her. She has been my childhood friend since we were little but after I started to get bullied, I grew away from her, to protect her.

'It's dumb' you say? Yes, yes it is, but it's my way of coping with this. Sakura is like a light that illuminates my life, however, to my dismay, with light, there is always darkness. Following Sakura, 'he' arrives. My personal bully, the idol of the class, and an absolute bishounen (AN: Pretty Boy), Seiichi Akiyama.

He is your typical attractive high schooler, blond hair, blue eyes. and measuring at 6,1 ft. A complete and utter bishounen.

And that exact bishounen is the one who has made my life hell, ever since I met him.

'Here comes trouble...' I thought to myself as I see Seiichi walk over with a smirk on his face when he notices my existence.

"Hey there girly!"

"..."

"Oh, not gonna reply?"

"...."

He gives me a wicked smile, only to call over some of his friends talking in the front of the class. In a brief moment, my desk is surrounded by my laughing classmates ready to beat me up.

"..."

'Unfair' is the only thing I can possibly think about when I'm being kicked, spit and punched by my oh so dear classmates. 'Why don't I just retaliate' you ask?' Well, it is simple. While I would love to fight back, I don't because it would be useless. What can someone like me do against them? 'Nothing'.

The bell rings and the crowd disperses, forced to leave me alone Seiichi gives me one last friendly comment.

"You should just die..."

Sitting again, I listened to the classes, as usual, got beat up at lunchtime, listened to some more classes and finally the school day ended.

'The worst has passed' is what you may be thinking, but that isn't true. I need to leave quickly, otherwise, I'll get beat up in the most messed up way since there are no regulations outside the school grounds.

I ran as fast as I could after grabbing my bag and attempted to make my way home.

It had gotten somewhat dark. As I was running I made out a figure in the distance. It was an old man wearing a white robe, 'Is he a priest?'. He seemed to be in distress, while I was in a hurry, I simply couldn't ignore a person who needs help, so I stopped to see what was wrong.

"Excuse me, is everything alright?"

"Oh, hello miss, you, see. I seem to have lost my pendant" I got quite irritated by the word "Miss". But seeing the old man's honest and gentle smile, I decided to help him without mentioning I was actually male, so as to not raise an argument or questions.

"What kind of pendant is it?"

"Oh my, thank you. Well, it is a small golden sphere with platinum engravings."

We searched for about 10 minutes when I noticed a faint glow in between the bushes. I turned to face the glow when I say the small bead. I quickly reached for it and grabbed it.

"Found it!"

"Did you?"

I showed the pendant to the expecting man and he quickly took a breath of a relief.

"Thank you so very much, I can't believe someone as kind as you, exists in this kind of world"

"Ummm, that may be a bit of an exaggeration but thank you" I said as I brushed off his comment as something an old man would say due to age. I was quite happy but my moment of happiness was shattered when I heard a familiar voice.

"Found You!"

I turned around only to see about 10 of my classmates running in my direction. I was had been found...

"Bye! I have to go... It was a pleasure" I said sadly to the old man who was staring at me with doubt.

While trying to run away from my classmates I heard a whisper in a deep voice, similar to the old man's:

"Don't worry, I will pay you back for the kindness you have offered me today"

I didn't know where that voice had come from, but when I took a quick glance at where the old man had been standing, there was no one. I felt confused but, I couldn't manage to concentrate on that while escaping from getting beat up by over 10 people.

In the end, I was caught, was brutally beaten up and left with several wounds. As soon, as they were finished I headed home, entered my home, ate and fell asleep crying.

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

An annoying alarm that signals the start of a new day...

"Hah〜"

I got up, got ready and headed for school, like every day. When I arrived, I took my seat in the rightmost corner of the classroom and let out a long sigh.

Soon, my hint of happiness entered the classroom, and following, Seiichi entered the classroom as well. Nothing out of the ordinary.

But, just as he was making his way to my seat while smirking, a blinding light shone from the floor. In a brief instant, my field of vision was filled with this light forcing me to close my eyes.

When I lifted my eyelids, the scenery had gone from a regular classroom to a deep white room. If you asked me, I couldn't tell where the room ended or where it began. It was an impressive sight, seeing such pure white when someone screamed:

"WHERE ARE WE?!"

"..."

I had not noticed all of my classmates were inside this pristine white room with me...

"Hah〜, can this get any worse?"
