"What's this!?"
I was simply left speechless and quite afraid when I managed to picture what I had just stepped on.
"It's a sword..."
I immediately took my foot off of it, with such force I almost fell to the ground.
'I hate this new center of gravity...' I cursed while focusing once more on the sword lying on the ground.
It seems to be quite beautiful, however, this sword is something I've never seen before. It has a blue-purplish blade that seems to be made out of a liquid in motion? yet is solid? Furthermore, emanating from the blade, are also strange blue and purple particles. The sword also has a jet-black handle with what seems to be platinum engravings. It is obviously an excellent weapon, except for one minor detail. It is quite literally leaking killing intent. Just staring at the sword made me afraid.
*Gulp*
'I actually feel pressured by this sword? Weren't my stats super high?' I was unsure of what to do, but I decided to use [Master Appraisal] on it, both to check my abilities to use skills and because I feel some inexplicable curiosity towards this weapon. I then nervously chanted:
"[Master Appraisal]"
'I guess life is interesting in the weirdest of ways. huh?'

"THIS IS TOO MUCH!"
Sadly, in the midst of the confusion, anger euphoria and other emotions generated by the unending amount of surprises, I passed out... pretty embarrassingly.
※
When I came to, I immediately stood up and checked my surroundings. 'I no longer feel the pressure from the sword? Did somebody take it?' I thought as I kept looking around, but to my surprise, the sword was still lying on the ground. The only difference was that the particles that the blade emitted had killed off all of the grass that the sword had been laying on. 'Ehhh, is it safe to even wield?' I constantly stayed a meter or two away from the sword. I was looking at the sword as if it was a bloodthirsty monster. But after making sure it wouldn't kill me if I put my guard down for a second I began my investigation:
"So this is what that notification was all about...?
'Thinking about it logically, this strange sword would explain, all the anomalies I have encountered so far after reincarnating' I speculated. Chanting [Master Appraisal], and enduring the shock, I began analyzing the data on the transparent screen.
Well to start things off, the name: [Boukyaku]. 'I guess I pledged my soul to this sword?' It was quite strange of a name, but it tied into my new attribute [Oblivion Flames] and the skills which weren't from God. (AN: As mentioned before, Boukyaku is the Japanese word for Oblivion/forgetfulness) 'I guess that pledge is what made me own this sword?'
"I guess, it isn't that bad...? After all, it's a powerful weapon..."
But thinking about it slowly. 'I don't know swordsmanship do I?' I was simply left to smile wryly as I thought about how I could possibly use this weapon effectively, without embarrassing myself. Shrugging that matter off, my inspection of the sword, when I saw its rarity:
"Huh?"
You see, according to the knowledge from the angel (AN: this is becoming a pretty good excuse to include things I hadn't thought about) there are 8 ranks for the rarity of any weapon, gear, armor or anything that could be used for a battle for that matter. These are: Poor, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Mythical, Holy, and God. BUT! THIS WEAPON TOOK ABSURDITY TO ANOTHER LEVEL!
"Beyond... God...?"
This weapon literally displayed: 'I AM BETTER THAN ANYTHING YOU CAN GET IN THIS WORLD' I was a bit unsure how trustworthy this information was, but all of my doubts were cleared after reading the description. In fact, it only helped me realize how much of a threat this weapon was to the very fabric of existence:
"...not even GOD can wield this weapon...?"
I was scared to the bottom of my heart of what was laid before me. 'This 'thing' could literally destroy the fabric of reality if I desired?' This was getting really absurd, so I skipped it... only to meet even more absurdity:
"...durability...unbreakable...?"
I wouldn't be sure how to describe my face at that moment. It was a mix of fear, euphoria and pure shock. 'I mean, a normal person would likely be overjoyed for receiving such a gift, but there has to be a catch right?' That notification did ask for me to pledge my SOUL after all. I skipped over the remaining characteristics of the sword. And within those characteristics, I found evidence as to what caused my stats to skyrocket as they did, and the answer as to why I had so many weird titles.
"Well that explains everything" I said as I sighed in relief.
I had probably been immersed in thought and processing what laid before me for about an hour. As I was wondering on what to do next I caught a glimpse of the sword in the corner of my eye. I had been wondering this since I saw it but:
"Can I wield it?"
I cautiously approached the sword. For some reason, the closer I got to the sword, the greater was my curiosity for it, but I brushed it off as excitement. I bent down, and took hold of the sword...
Suddenly, power flowed into my body. I felt stronger than ever. As I took hold of the sword, the blade started emitting bolts of blue and purple. I was taken aback, yet could only watch in amazement, as the blade glowed with the dancing lightning embracing the malicious-looking blade.
I felt invincible. Yet for some reason, I felt I needed something... It was a sensation I had not experienced before...
"What's with this Power?!"
I was simply laughing wildly by this point in euphoria by the amount of power I now had in the palm of my hands.
"I BET I COULD KILL ALL OF MY USELESS CLASSMATES WITH THIS MUCH POWER!"
I now had a single word in my mind...
'Bloodlust'
Whispering voices were clearly telling me
"Kill... Kill... Kill..."
I was falling deeper and deeper into the indulgence of power...
"Kill... Kill... Kill..."
The whispers only got louder as the blade shined far brighter than before and emitted lightning that when connected to the ground created potholes.
"Yes... WITH THIS POWER I CAN KILL ALL OF THOSE WHO WRONGED ME!!! I'LL KILL THEM ALL!!!"
"..."
"..."
"..."
'What am I doing?' I don't want to do that! They may have treated me like garbage, but that is no reason to murder everyone...
"They'll wrong you again..."
'But I can't go and kill people...' It's wrong, what I'm thinking is wrong! I'M HUMAN! 'THIS SWORD IS MAKING ME DO THIS!' As I came into the realization as to what was happening, I let go of the sword. In an instant, the whispers, the lightning, the bloodlust... it all disappeared.
"Just what is this sword...?"
I was now terrified of the sword I had before me. 'I could lose myself if I use it for long...' I wasn't sure what to do at this point. I wasn't going to grab it again, but even if I left it here, remembering my status, it could kill anyone it comes into contact with.
"I don't want to be responsible for any deaths, but I don't want to grab the sword either..."
I was feeling quite anxious, and desperate when seemingly, according to my words, a jet-black scabbard formed around the blade of the weapon, sealing its aura and preventing the particles from escaping the blade.
"..."
'Convenient?' I was puzzled as to what had just developed before me. But looking at the scabbard, it was jet-black with platinum engravings. It seemed elegant and beautiful, but what it was sealing wasn't as nice.
Seeing this as my chance, I cautiously grabbed the handle of the sword and attached it to my white belt. It seemed to fit me a little bigger than before. So much so, that my pants almost fell off, when I equipped the sword.
"AGH, THIS IS TOO TROUBLESOME!"
I was hiding my embarrassment in frustration when I remembered a certain skill I now possessed. '[Oblivion Blessing]' Thinking about logically, anything related to 'that' hanging in my belt, shouldn't be used at all. I was hesitant if I should use the skill, but in the end, my embarrassment won over common sense...
"It can't hurt to try right? Hehe"
I then faced downwards to my equipment, took a deep breath and chanted...
"[Oblivion Blessing]"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Oh, nothing happe-"
Interrupting me, blue and purple flames suddenly started to burst from the ground. I was taken by surprise so I instinctively screamed, fearing for my life... but the way I screamed, was embarrassing...
"Kyaaaaa!"
While I was very much scared about my life because of the flames, which were now engulfing me, my scream was so... girly... it sliced my pride like butter.
While I was ready to stop by and say hello to the void once more, the flames disappeared as abruptly as they appeared. But what was left wasn't the same...
To start off all of my clothes were now different... My grey shirt had become a tube top with red linings on the chest area, accentuating my new 'assets'. It also had a zig-zag cut on the bottom exposing a bit of my stomach. It was strangely attractive... and natural?
*SLAP*
I had just slapped my face as hard as I could as I realized what I had just thought...
My shorts had become far shorter and... tighter. The had also gained the same red linings which, again, looked 'cool' and... seductive... My legs were quite emphasized by this new clothing... they looked soft, slender, feminine...
*SLAP*
My white belt had remained pretty much the same, except it had the same red linings that the rest of my clothing now had... But for some reason, it only helped to accentuate my hips...
*SLAP*
Finally, was my white jacket, it used to be a normal leather jacket, but now it almost seemed like an overcoat which just barely got past my hips... It was something which wouldn't fit with anything else yet, with these clothes it created a perfect contrast, the snow-white coat with the red linings left me to wonder how pretty I must look right now...
*BASH*
That was the final straw. As I thought those words, I used all of my strength to use both of my fists to send a strike to my stomach which left me out of breath for quite a few seconds.
After catching my breath and realizing it was going to get dark soon, I decided to start making my way to back to the Everidian Kingdom... only to stop a few seconds later...
"I don't... want to go back there..."
It may seem childish, but if I can, I will now try to avoid that place as much as possible. It carries too many sadness within... But getting an idea, I rummaged a bit through the knowledge the angel had given me before finding exactly what I was looking for:
"Litherm Kingdom?"
'If I didn't want to go to the Everidian Kingdom, I didn't have to right?' The Litherm kingdom is a bit far... but I won't go back. I looked in the direction of the Everidian kingdom, my eyes full of feelings...
'Goodbye Kira... Sakura...' A tear ran down my face.
I then turned around and started walking...
"Welp! Guess my adventure starts here!"
