Chapter 39 - The Show Goes On (So Cliche)

20XX, December 18, Friday; Konner House, My Room

Hey! Update!

The drama club performance for the school founding anniversary is tomorrow and it will also be the last day of Luke at our school, then after, the school Christmas break. I was too busy with the preparations these past few days so I wasn't able to write. These past few days, Luke was also turning over a lot of things to some of us since the next club advisor is still on maternity leave. She'll be back next year.

We just finished the final practice sometime ago and I also just got home. This is actualy earlier than usual since we have to go to school earlier tomorrow for last minute preparations. Luke said we have to rest since it will be more hectic tomorrow with the performance.

I can't really sleep right now even though I'm really tired. Probably due to excitement for tomorrow's performance but it's not like I have much to do during the performance per se.

Oh, and the bullying is still ongoing and it escalated a little compared to what I wrote last time. Before, they would just ignore or avoid me especially the seniors and those from my grade just followed. But now, some of the members were not subtly talking about me and Luke behind my back. While Luke was away of course. They wouldn't jeopardize the chance for Luke to like them.

They were also resorting to hiding my things. So childish, in my opinion. Well, we leave all of our stuff in the club room before every practice so it was not like that was difficult for them to do that. But it was easy for me to solve since I just have to leave my things then in my locker. It's farther but at least, safer.

The worst was that time when they tried to lock me in the club room. But, come on, I've been staying there after practice for more than month now. Do they think I wouldn't have a spare key? At least, they should have propped something to block the door.

Well, you see, Luke gave me a spare key in case he forgot his, according to him. He was sometimes forgetful so it was reasonable. Fortunately, I didn't return it yet and I'm really not planning to. Unless Luke informed someone about it but I doubt that. Forgetful, remember?

But I'm more depressed now because Eli can't watch the performance. I know I won't be included in the actual performance but I'm still part of it as well. It's just that Eli has a game tomorrow too. Oh, and I think the principal never really talked about me being with a teacher to aunt since she never scolded or talked to me about it. That's it! I have to sleep now!
