Synopsis

Spoiler: Stages of Cultivation

NOTE: These stages are written from the perspective of humans. Beasts and other races have different racial traits which may result in advantages or disadvantages.

NOTE: While our MC does use the stages for him/herself, he/she is not bound by them. The stages were meant to be universal so all races could have an understanding of their own strength.

Our MC is different and may end up being stronger in her own level. This too can happen for other characters.

Reminder:

Stats are good but intelligence often wins over brute strength.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

As an example Idan is Stage 3, his strength is still limited to slightly above that of a trained human male. His agility and dexterity are raised to be 2,5 times that of a trained human male. Normally he would be less intelligent but his mutation solves this deficit and even enhances it.

I will add the different cultivation here:

Core cultivation: The core. A solid mass located near the heart. Gathering energy here allows your blood to carry it through your body and slowly strengthens your body over time. Can be accelerated through medicine and special techniques. Focus on body cultivation.

Qi/Mana cultivation: The dantian. An intangible mass of energy located near the navel. Gathering energy, the dantian will compress it and gather it in a semi-separated space. The form of energy will determine your Stage. Focus on energy cultivation.

A mention for the cultivation of Mana and Qi. During the cultivation, depending on your training method you use the energy differently. Some people are more focused on their body and will have less Mana/Qi. Others will do the opposite and have more Mana/Qi.

As such these Stages are only guides of a sort to group people. The difference between a Stage 5 fighter and a Stage 5 Mage can be massive depending on their utilization of energy and physical strength.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stage 1 - Slightly stronger than a trained human male / pronounced defense

Stage 2 - Twice as strong as a trained human male / better dexterity (15%)

Stage 3 - 3 times as strong as a trained human male / better dexterity (10%)

Stage 4 - 4 times as strong as a trained human male / better dexterity (5%)

Stage 5 - 5 times as strong as a trained human male / increase in vision (related to bloodline/genes)

Qi/Mana Refining 1 - 3

15/20/25% increase in strength / better Qi/Mana control. Can emit mana outside the body.

Strength is now counted in numbers. It is not meant to be game-like. It is simply the simplest was to showcase strength. As always people and beasts have specific strong points. As such these are only estimates and the basic stats of human males.
