[First – Person]
Ah god. This is one hell of a headache, but I can finally see light. Is that light? Yes, it is, finally!
It's really bright. But what is this white thing? Ah, that is the inner membrane. Should be easy to get out of. Well, here I go and...no? Do I have to wait? Well, no problem. I can wait a few minutes. Apparently, I still have to wait for the whole membrane to be exposed. The membrane, or at least the liquid it is made of, seems to react with the air and becomes slightly stiff. This should prevent the acid from hurting my yet-to-be-fully-developed body from getting hurt. Seems like I have to use the earth based energy to strengthen my skin, organs and lastly my cells. Should be easy but it seems to take some time.
Well, I guess I can think about my firsts steps after getting out of here. I already thought about it but let's check:
So first would be to ascertain my physical appearance and bodily functions. Who knows? Perhaps something went wrong.
I guess then I can go and check my surroundings. I know about some aspects of what I should expect but who knows how long I've been in here. One of my memories pertains towards how long one stays inside the "egg". Seems like the longest time was..what? 300 years?! Goddamn, this could be problematic. Wait! Seems like the environment for that particular Protoss was unsuitable so she had to wait. Standard time seems to be from 17 Months up to 43 months. Still pretty long but I guess if you're born with a slightly older body you need some time.
Ok, it should start now. This weird gooey liquid is gone and the membrane seems to stiffen a bit.
Hey wait, why am I falling?!
Ah damn, it hurts! What kinda bullshit is this?!
This is unreasonable! Why the hell did I fall down if this thing can float?!
Come on let me get my hands out of here. Can't bother with this nonsense. Eww, this is just disgusting! Why couldn't I just pop out and be done with this? So bothersome. What a pain in the ass!
And why is this painful?! Does this happen if you never used your muscles? I should have done some sit-ups in here. Guess this happens when you're born with a slightly older body. Nothing I can't handle.
Ahh there. Pure light! Just a bit more! Haaaaaa, I'm out!
„I'M ALIIIIIIIVE!"
[Third – Person]
On top of the grass patch and flower field, the white cocoon-like membrane is visibly stiffening while a gooey liquid is flowing down the membrane and assimilating with the pure crystals forming a circle around the former blood-red stone.
Suddenly the membrane twitches. Below the white structure, one can make out a slowly stretching arm. The arm accelerates and penetrates the membrane and stretches out as if to grab the air. The arm looks like the arm of a 5-year-old child. Dried specks of pale crystals can be found on the light brown colored skin of the newly born creature.
The newborn being slowly rises from its white prison and greedily gasps for air. Its head struggles out of the membrane and drags a naked, slender body out of the membrane. It raises its head toward the light and opens its eyes. A pale green color appears. Damp as if blind.
The being opens its mouth, inhales and roars towards the interior of the cave: "I'M ALIIIIIIIIVE!"
Directly after its little outbreak, it violently coughs and falls on all four. It desperately tries to sooth its aching and burning throat. In its desperation, it flails its arms around it and grabs for something to sooth its pain.
Suddenly a crystal falls into its hand and its fingertips seem to have touched something soft and squishy. The creature feels the cold structure of the crystal and desperately shoves it down its throat. A sudden impact hits its whole body. Coldness radiates from the crystal and the pain is literally frozen. It feels like its throat is cracking apart. It gags and throws up small pieces of frozen and dried, milky white liquid.
Shortly after it leaves its body the exhaustion hits the creature and slowly darkness consumes its awareness. It slowly sinks into the slightly comforting darkness and the last thing it hears is a squeaking sound of anxiousness. A second before it loses its consciousness the being feels the soft squishy feeling from before, touch its face.
The last thought disappears into the darkness.
„What the fuck is this!?"
