I woke up in time today, i readied everything and packed all my usual school stuff. Nothing unusual going to happen i hope.
I took the train on the way to Uni.
And as always, tons of passengers were occupying all the space, so i had to stand up.
I went to my class in time, which was also good. My day started out fine.
Which is indeed again, great.
I sure hope no one points a gun at me out of nowhere. that'd be such a nuisance.
My six-hundred bucks is in my pocket, i guess i'll put it in my bag later. I'm currently focused jotting down notes from all these scribbles on the board.
I couldn't understand most of the gibberish there. It was mostly calcu...metry-ish?
Anyways, they're all just X's and numbers so it should be easy.
A seatmate of mine asks if she could borrow an eraser, panicking out of nowhere spilling all the contents of his bag on the floor
*sigh*
Where's my eraser-
oh right it's in my pocket. Let me just grab it-
"Here you go!" I grinned
He just stared for a bit and took the eraser with a quick smile before he left me with an uneasy smirk.
"You don't have to make everything weird, you know?"
I banged my head on the desk
"You're quite the charming fella aren't ya?"
A small voice echoed inside my head.
I turned around to see where it came from, but there was no sign of anyone talking, no one looked like they heard the voice too.
"Who's there?"
I glanced around the ceiling to see where he is, but all i saw was empty space.
"I'm not out there you dum dum!"
The puny voice sounded a bit agitated
"I'm Lassy! Short for Dinlas! The ancient guardian of Lamark!-"
The proffessor came in and he looks like he's in such a hurry, dropping all his textbooks on his desk and immediately grabbing a chalk, and snapping it in half as he started scribbling furiously on the board
"I'm here to aid you m'lady as your personal guardian of health and-"
"-You can aid me by being quiet while the discussion is ongoing lassy"
"..."

Class had ended early today, which means i got the entire day to myself.
So i went back to my small room.
Oh and i have to pay rent today...
let me grab my money in my pocket-
...
My money...?
...
It's not here!
...
WHERE'S MY MONEY!?
It must have dropped when i...
... when i pulled out my eraser from my pocket.
*sigh* so much for a six-hundred dollar eraser.
Later that afternoon, after thinking of so many ways to get her to move the payment for the rent, i finally mustered up enough courage to go downstairs and that to her.
"So umm... can i pay rent next week?" I smiled
"No. Get out!" She slammed the door
Being kicked after not paying the month's rent.
Great. What am i supposed to do now?
I felt terrible. I had nowhere to go other than the park and my uni, which is miles away.
Nowhere to go home to.
I've been walking around in circles around the park for a while now and its almost nighttime
I was thinking about contacting my friends from class, but then i was reminded by my empty contacts list of how much of a loner i am
The city lights slowly started to fill the darkness with sunset colors of glowing street lamps
I guess i have no choice but to sleep on of these... these benches.
I slowly lied down the small bench and folded myself, holding onto my arms for warmth, and gently banging my head on the steel seat of the bench
"Tough break huh"
"Huh!? Who's- Oh... you"
I tried to ignore him and slowly shut my eyes
"You're gonna get sick if you sleep out here m'lady!"
"I didn't know that Shirlock Lassy"
The night's breeze was harsh. Outdoors with no security. Nobody was staying here in the park, which is a good thing to save me from my shame, and also a bad thing because
I could get kidnapped by anyone any moment, or even worse.
My eyes started to become heavy.
My conciousness slowly faded.
"Hey cmon! I atleast deserve a little politeness being your guardian! You should be honored too!
I'm Dinlas, son of Aphrodite! The Guardian god of the ancient city of Lamark! where wounded heroes find comfort, warmth, and heal after battle-"
*snoring*
*sigh* "why me..."
"Hey."
A familiar voice called out tome, its warm hairy hands shook my arm.
My eyes slowly peer open
"What are you doing trying to sleep out here?"
He stared at me for a moment while i was pulling myself together from all the Lassy hallucinations.
It's the husky from a month ago.
"Well, i got kicked out by my landlady. I lost my money to pay the rent..."
I scratched my head
"Actually lost all my money."
"What? Then you're going to start living like a hobo then?"
"What's a hobo?" I asked
"Nevermind. It's an old word.
Anyway, get up. I can't let you just rot away on a bench"
"Come with me"
"Where to?" I ask
She pulled me up, so i quickly picked up my purple bag
"Have you eaten yet?" He asked
We started to walk down the grass
"It's alright, i'm not-"
My stomach started to growl
He placed his huge hand on my shoulder.
The warmth felt nice.
We walked out of the park and across the street. Looking around, he stopped on a small noodle shop on the side, he gestured for me to go in.
The smell from the outside was already filling me up. Different aromas of unique spices and leaves seeped throught the blue curtains of the small wooden-styled house.
"Let's eat here"
"Okay"
Well who could say no? Being completely hungry and bankrupt and refusing food?
There wasn't much people inside the shop, which was great for me and my introverted bum.
"We'll have two, par"
The guy said nodded. He was swinging a thick sheet of noodles, cutting beef as fast as lightning and tossing them on a bowl
with outstanding accuracy.
"Have a seat" he said. Patting the small stool next to him by the counter
"Can i debt you this meal?"
I asked
"No need for debt. It's on me" he smiled
"Here y'are" The noodles matter gave us two bowls.
A steaming pot of hot soup, thick and perfectly good cut noodles, half a dozen of condiments and herbs i haven't seen before, topped off with a huge slice of pinkish beef. Even my eyes drooled from the beauty.
He took a long stick and broke it apart, clipped the noodles between them and then started slurping them down like a person who hasn't eaten for weeks
I closed my eyes and gave my thanks before i digged in.
"Praying to God before a meal. You're very thankful!"
He stopped and turned to me.
His face lit up.
"Uhh... yes, i have my religion"
"Ahh yes, yes. Religion" he rubbed his chin while smiling
"Why are you so happy?"
"Well, it's really great to see someone believe in something with such faith. Something i haven't seen anyone do in quite a while." He said
"Hmmm, about... Half a century ago?" He closed his eyez
"Anyways, keep it up kid" he patted my shoulder
"...okay"
I didn't mind the conversation that happened, even though the topic seemed to intruige him.
What did he mean by a century ago...?
"There's not much like you nowadays" he mumbled
"Hmm?"
"The food is great!"
"Oh"

After our stomaches were filled after i ate two more bowls of the good stuff, Mr. husky ate twelve bowls and he looked like he was gonna pass out any second. So we sat there for a while, waiting for the stuff to go down.
"So, you gonna head back to your- oh right you just got kicked out" he said, holding in his breath
"Hmm" he closed his eyes
He pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
"Hello? Can you come here real quick? It's an emergency"
"Emergency?" I looked at him and he winked.
I seemed to get where he is at.
A lion then comes running in
"What's the problem?" He asked
Woah its the lion from a few months back.
I still felt like couldn't put my trust on him though.
"I was just around the corner when you called. Oh hello!" He smiled
"Leo, it's time to pay for your actions."
His name is Leo?
Makes sense, he's a lion.
That's... that's a bit of an obvious one.
"What!?"
"This girl right here, the one you nearly killed, doesn't have a place stay"
"No, it's fine-"
I stopped him at his track
I gently elbowed Mr. Husky, trying to tell him about what im feeling.
I don't want to sleep in my Ex-murderers house.
I'd rather sleep back at the bench.
"No! You're not gonna sleep on a bench!"
He replied
"So you're asking me if she could stay at my place?"
Leo gave a smirk
"Yeah that's about it." He smiled
"Hmm."
He scratched his head.
"Okay" He tugged on his tie and gave me a stern look
"But... you've got to follow house rules, alright?"
"I didn't even approve of this!"
I didn't have much of a choice anyways. Sleep on a bench and freeze, or sleep in another guy's house.
I guess it's an even choice. I'll just go with Mr. Husky's choice, he seems to trust him a lot so i should atleast trust him too.
"Good. Then..."
"Wait, how did-"
"Now get going!" He patted Leo's shoulder
We three walked out the shop. The two hulking guys had to duck down to get through the door though. They look terrifying when they stand still and look at you when you're only a five feet shorty like me.
As soon as we got out, we just stood and gathered out attention to the cool wind blowing on our faces.
The wind brushed through their gray and golden hair as they stood quietly, while Mr. husky rubbed his growling stomach.
"Man i'm hungry again"
Whaaa?-
"Oh i forgot to tell you, my name is Phileo. Always here to help, kid" He offered me his fist, so i gave it a little bump
"Thanks for the for all of this, Phileo" I pocketed my hands. My shirt all suddenly so draggy because of this big neck hole.
"Just call me Mr. Husky. I like that name"
He grinned
"..how did?-"
"Oops, gotta run kiddo. I'll see you two later"
He gave Leo a quick hug and and waved us both goodbye
"So... are you two a-"
"He's my brother" He smiled
"You weren't thinking about the two of us being a thing now, were you?" He smirked
"Huh!? No i didn't."
"Oh yes you did!"
"C'mon, lets just go" I turned my head and started walking
"My home isn't that way" He chuckled
