Hearing all this, I couldn't help but be stunned by the history of the Immortal Realm. Although I knew that this time period probably wasn't at humanities peak and that there was some great calamity like in novels, I never thought I'd be this different from novels. It's no wonder I was reincarnated into a sea urchin rather than some land animal. It explains so much why the oceans are so unrealistically deep and the lack of islands.
"How do you know all this in the first place?" I asked with suspicion.
"The Ancient Clans handed out this information to the public millions of years ago so it's not surprising that even a commoner would know this," he said with a shrug.
"Although the Ancient Clans have regressed a lot compared to their peak, they hold the title of the strongest and the most influential. They retain most of their inheritances and knowledge from the Ancient Era, and are the holy paradises of this world. Even the current headmaster of the strongest clan would dye of happiness to enter one of them."
"The twelve Ancient Clans and their realms are always moving in random directions. But they always keep in contact with one another and hostilities are non-existent. They rarely make any large or open movements, but when they do, it's serious and important. This is what my superiors told me."
"Then what about my tribulation?" I asked.
"Most likely, the twelve Ancient Clans and the strongest current clans will head over since this is a history changing commotion," he said, "But don't worry, we won't tell anyone. You've helped us too much and is the benefactor of our clan."
"You're flattering me again," I said waving my imaginary hand. My insides were cringing though because the way he looks at me and talks to me is like a man talking to a female. Just doesn't feel right!
"What's the name of your clan?" I asked to the guy, "Also, can you tell me your dang name?"
"Phantom Sea. It has nothing to do with phantoms though. The other seven clans are Venomshade, Steel Brawlers, Hollow Scar, the Scurvy, Doubloons, Shellbacks, and the Seagulls. Also, my name is Dennis Georgas," he said.
"Ah, Kip Ronnie is my name," I said, introducing myself.
I couldn't help but wonder. Why is the name of most of these clans, so pirate related? I mean, it's alright since the Immortal Realm has an ocean topography. But come on. These are terms used by people on Earth. How coincidental is it that people from a totally different universe use the same terms?
Shaking my invisible head, I broke the silence, "Well, we're already at your clan entrance."
"Really?!" he said jumping up off his butt, trying to peer into the misty storm.
"Yeah, but it's surrounded by a formation, and the entrances are blocked off," I said.
"Let me go up there. The guards should recognize me if I show them my disciple token."
Notifying the people in my stomach, they nearly flew out at light speeds with excitement. All of them seemed to be itching to return. I moved close to one of the entrances which was easy as the water currents are moving my direction from the opposite side, creating way more calmer waves. Dennis, whose name I know now, flew into the air and stopped in at the top of the castle walls before knocking on the formation where a guard is.
The guard was startled and frightened easily. But seeing the disciple token pressed against the formation, he immediately rushed past the other guards and towards one of the towers built on the walls. Several minutes later, the token in Dennis' hand glowed before a golden colored shield wrapped around him. Then he passed through the formation and onto the other side.
Several unknown people came out and conversed with him which I could only watch but not hear. Since I may as well help, I covered the entire group of disciples in a devour shield and brought them over to the same location where Dennis was. After several minutes, a golden glow formed on all their bodies. Dissipating the devour shield, they were pulled inside and greeted by more people.
I then floated over to the nearest entrance and waited. If they don't let me in before this day ends, I will be very mad and start attacking this formation. I've devoured things more powerful and this formation will be no problem. Then I'll dig out the information from these people and if those kids betrayed me, I'll devour them all, except for the females. I'll have to burn a terrifying image of me in their heads even if it goes morally wrong.
I sat in the front entrance for several hours, as my irritation grew. But, it seems that I don't have to. The large entrance, which was made of an unknown stone, slowly opened up, and surprisingly held the water back from flowing in. I shrunk my body to a small enough size and went inside before returning to normal size.
I instantly felt the little winds and calm waters which made me extremely overjoyed. But this didn't last long before I was surrounded by over a hundred cultivators that were hovering in the air. Normally, it would be a combination of nervous expressions, while others would be calm or cold, with others having arrogant expressions on their faces.
But it seems that they may know my cultivation level, because all of them have nervous expression on their faces while others seemed to be in fear. Their cultivation ranged from peak dantian gathering to a some peak major meridian while one had just reached minor meridian.
Eight aura's could be felt rapidly approaching. In less than a second, these eight figures hovered above the disciples and looked down at me. Their auras way more stronger than the disciples. Plus, they seem to be very elderly by their looks. They're probably the clan elders. They all seem to be close or at peak viscera refinement realm.
Then came a huge aura, way more powerful than the elders. This aura was surprisingly, near the peak of post-xiantian. This person appeared in less than a second above the elders. It was the headmaster of the Phantom Sea clan.
