I opened my eyes to find that I couldn't see anything. I panicked for a few moments before I remembered the situation. I couldn't think any further as the system let out a torrent of messages.

Killing that boss took me up two levels. I thought for a few minutes before deciding to put three points into dexterity, one point into strength and two into vitality. I accepted the changed and felt another huge rush, although I was starting to get used to it. I looked in my inventory and found the two daggers. I took them out and swung them around for a few moments but it felt wrong. System, is there any way that I can re-craft these daggers into a spear?
[Items are considered valid materials and can be used for most forms of crafting]
Alright! First, though I should probably put this giant corpse into the material processor. I put the corpse into the material processor and opened my inventory. I noticed that it only had a maximum of twenty slots, which probably wouldn't be enough if I'd retained my RPG hoarding instincts like in my past life. I wonder how I can unlock more.
[Inventory spaces cost 10 SC each.]
Oh, that seems decently cheap. I'll buy fifteen, for now, bringing me down to a flat 1000 SC. I spent the next around half an hour getting used to my new stats as the spider processed. After it was done I received the same materials as from the other spiders except that they were rare grade and around five times more than from a regular spider. I put the materials as well as the daggers in and set it to make me a full set of gear. I tried to take a nap but couldn't sleep because of the anticipation towards my new gear. Well, considering that was the boss spider I should be able to take care of any others that I come across.
I headed deeper into the cave, passing through a few empty caverns before I entered what had to be the last one as there weren't any holes in the walls. This room had a giant web stretching over it covered in little sacs. Thousands if not tens of thousands of spider larvae were spread across the web. Yeah, definitely not letting those hatch. I brought up the shop and looked through the skills before finding exactly what I had in mind.
[Fireball - Uncommon]
[Attack: 20-30]
[Uses mana to create a ball of fire]
[Price:50 SC]
Ah, perfect. I purchased it and used the skill book. I tried to emulate the feeling from before where I pulled mana out of me, but I was interrupted by the system.
[Host only needs to internally or externally recite the skill's name and the system will automatically cast the skill or skills]
That seems pretty useful, not having to say it out loud also saves me from that embarrassment. Alright! 'Fireball'. I felt mana course through my arm and into my hand as it condensed and morphed into a ball of flickering flames. I then immediately lobbed the fireball at the spiderweb. At first, only the fringe was burning, but within seconds the whole web was ablaze. This made me glad that the system grouped the notifications together instead of individually giving me notifications for each one I'd killed. After a few minutes, there was nothing left but a giant pile of smoldering cinders.

Well, Since strength so far has been my bread and butter, I'm going to put three points in. After that one point in vitality and two in dexterity.

I really should've learned my lesson last time I put three points into strength, but apparently not as I fell to the ground, writhing in pain as my body was reformed. This time it only took about five minutes but should still be more careful as if something attacked me during those five minutes I'd be completely vulnerable. As I got up I checked my notifications.
