Anne McCole comes from a middle class family, where it's just her and her mother striving to be a part of the rich people in the country. She works really hard everyday together with her mother.

She stumbles across James Hathaway, a famous billionaire who buys her off in exchange for helping her. 

Not long after she meets  Amanda, the ex wife of James who accused Anne of having an affair with her ex-husband. 

Amanda does everything possible to terminate Anne after finding out that James is in love with her.
