The rain poured furiously unto the uncaring ground. The sky littered with the colour black. Swarms of unforgiving clouds, each one rumbling thunders hung as if awaiting the time to pounce.
Up on the peak of a building, kai aracius stood, drenched in water. His black pupils stared down on the bright little streets, Watching the liveliness of the people down below. kai's eyes watered as beads of tears each fell down effortlessly from his cheeks.
F***k ! F**k! F***k!
Why?
Why did it have to be like this?
Kai questioned in his mind as more tears flowed out from his eyes. He was tired. Tired of everything. Tired of this world.
He had lived his life a fool. A fool for the crowd. A full for the world and now just like a dog he had been abandoned. Left on the streets to die.
Kai stood still looking at the ground, a far distance away from where he was. He was on the edge of the tall building, ready to jump. Ready to fall to the ground and get rid of all of his pain....but yet he still hesitated.
He still wanted to live, to survive. He still wanted to find hope even in this pit of despair...But life would not give one something just because he asked.
Still looking at the ground, kai wiped his eyes with his left hand and put his right hand in his trouser pocket. He was wearing a dishevelled and squeezed white shirt and a black trouser. From his black pocket, he brought out a watch. It was kind of gold in colour but such did not actually represent its true colour as it was actually yellow. He stared at it, remeniscing in his old memories. The memories of when he was a child. The memories of when he lived freely with his grandmom. The memories of when he lived his fullest. The nostalgia hit him like a truck sending his mind swirling in a sea of memories.
Kai looked at his pitiful self and asked in his mind
Where had it gone wrong?
Why I'm I here?.
Then suddenly a voice, bold and cold answered.
Flinch!
Kai flinched hard as he immediately turned his head. His heart rate increasimg as he looked frantically at his surrounding, searching for something
The voice, cold, uncaring melted in kai mind, immediately startling him.
Again he looked, even more desperate than before at his surroundings, hoping to find a trace of the person who had talked to him just now.
But then the voice talked again
Kai immediately stopped searching and stood still, his heart beating rapidly.
In his mind various questions attacked, each one demanding an answer, but he had none.
Then slowly he moved his lips and muttered a sentence although low from his mouth.
"Who are you?"
The voice immediately answered
Kai froze, his mind shocked at the voice. He was shocked, not because of what the voice said but because he was actually talking to a voice.
Kai looked at his surrounding once again hoping he was not hallucinating but what surrounded him was nothing more than boxes.
Seeing this made kai heart pound more but he slowly calmed himself down and opened his mouth to talk to the voice.
"What are you"
The voice replied, it's tone slightly rising this time.
"What?" Kai tone slightly increased this time too.
Kais brow immediately furrowed and his face hardened.
"Whaat... who do you think you are. Do you think its easy. Do you think it's easy to see all of your friends and family abandon you all for something very small. All the people you have trusted all your life. All of the people you have loved, given all of you to. Do you, do you!" Kai now was already panting furiously as he shouted at the voice.
If one was to see him right now they would think he was crazy.
The voice did not respond for a few seconds before suddenly it talked
The voice word carried deep meaning and struck kai deeply, but still he hesitated
"So what. Do you think its that easy? Do you think its that easy to tank pain? I agree to an extent with what you said but you are wrong. I had a family and I trusted them, I had friends and I trusted them. What do you expect me to do? Not trust them?. You want me to live my life all alone?. To live like im some edgy fool" Kai now was furious and he voiced out his opinion, shouting loudly.
Even if the world hates you, remain who you truly are.>
Kai listened to the voices words and calmed down. He then bent down and sat down on the bare floor, as he adjusted his black hair with his hands.
He looked to the sky as rain drops fell harshly unto his face. He could not fully accept what the voice was saying, but that didn't mean he didn't understand it. He and been trained to live in a particular way since when he was little and so it was part of him, but now listening to this voice, it seemed like his view of the world was gradually changing.
Kai still sitting looked at the black sky. It was completely black and not even the moon nor stars could be seen as it was all covered by thick black clouds. The clouds also occasionally flashed some blue light but nothing ever happened.
Kai then looked at the place he was in before opening his mouth to speak
"Even if you are somehow right, it's already too late. My life is already screwed and soon I will probably be killed."
Kai stared right at the air and didn't react one bit to what the voice said. Rather he laughed a little bit before telling the voice it wasn't possible. He wasn't a fool, he knew what was real or not.
Kai laughed and replied" Because stuff like that is not possible. That is just some story people form in their head which is not truly real."
The voice did not respond for sometime before suddenly he asked
Kai looked up to the sky before answering "I would like a place where there is only peace and no suffering. A place where I can be happy forever, but as I said this is only but a thought as it is not real."
The voice hearing this immediately started laughing. It laughed like a mad man as it's voice pierced through kais brain. Kai immediately held his head as he groaned in pain.
"You truly are the biggest fool kai. You truly are very stupid. I cant believe you have the guts to call something impossible when you literally talking to me is not supposed to be possible, hahahahaha."
The voices words rang deep in kais mind making him hold his head in pain even more than before.
"Since you have answered my question, I shall send you somewhere you will enjoy. A place where there is only peace and no suffering. A place where you will be happy forever." The voice spoke, its tone quite mocking.
Immediately the sky above started swirling and the clouds started to rumble. The thick clouds of the sky each came together to form a huge eye, which stared menacingly at kai.
Then suddenly a massive huge thunder shot out like a bullet, directly at the struggling kai.
