Kai watched with a dumbfounded expression as his eyes landed directly unto the group who were incoming.
Who are these people?
What the hell is this?
Kai mind now was filled to the brim with questions. Who were this people no.... what was going on.
He had just woken up in this place a few minutes ago and just like an average person he was very confused. He had tried to think but the pain had suddenly attacked his mind and forced him to come here, therefore postponing the time for him to collect his thoughts.
He was like a new born baby, who suddenly found itself outside of the womb and now could only help but wonder where it was.
Kai was still thinking when again the pain reminded him of why he had ran here.
Szz!
"F***k!. I need to go now. I can't dwell on these things now. I will think of them later, but for now I need to meet this people for help." Kai muttered under his breath, his expression slightly ugly.
Feeling the intense pain of his head, kai immediately started approaching the incoming caravan, his right hand holding his head.
....
A group of uniform wearing guards walked at the front of a caravan, guarding it with their lives as various people both slaves and workers walked behind.
They were all dressed in the same uniform and each had a brown pouch at the side of their waste, seemingly showing their need for food in case of hunger.
They walked together, their eyes scanning their surroundings as they walked slowly through the laid out path in front of them.
Suddenly one of them shouted at the front
"Look!" The guards right hand stretched out pointing towards something.
Immediately every guard previously walking paused as their eyes narrowed, only for them to see a man with raven black hair, wearing a black trouser and a white shirt hurrying towards them.
The guard seeing this had a look of surprise on their face and were quite dumbstruck until a man suddenly shouted out loud, his voice echoing in the air.
"Stop!!" The middle aged guard shouted, his voice bold and masculine.
Instantly kai stopped his movements and raised his hands in the hair seemingly showing his lack of need to fight.
"Get down, now!" The guard seeing kai stop shouted.
The guard was a very muscular man at least 6ft tall with a fully bearded face. He had a very broad, hairy and masculine chest which clearly showed his love for workout and contrary to the others he wore a quite dark blue clothing whilst his fellow soldiers only wore light blue.
"State your name and who you are!" The man shouted, his voice commanding like a general in a battlerfield.
Kai immediately answered.
"My name is kai aracius, please I need your help."
The guard hearing this laughed and turned towards one of his fellow guard at his side.
The guard also looked at him and nodded.
"Hmph, who are you?. You suddenly appear and ask if we can help you. How do we know if we can trust you?."
Kai instantly answered.
"You can trust me. I mean no harm at all. I mean look at me, I have nothing at all." Kai while answering, waved his hands slowly.
He indeed did not have anything on him but who would be so foolish as not to check?
When seeing someone or something who you do not know approach you for the first time, your first instinct would be to inspect them and just like every other human the guards intended to do same.
"Hmph, your do indeed not have anything on you but to be on a safe side, we would like to inspect your substance."
The moment the guard finished his sentence, every person present immediately gasped, their expressions shocked by such a question.
Kao oblivious... no uncaring to what was imprinted on the rest of the group face immediately answered yes.
Immediately he said so, the guard, the slaves ,the workers as well as everyone present gasped as they exchanged surprised glances at each other. Some even had a look of pity and sorry in their eyes as they looked at kai, shaking their heads.
"Hahaha, it seems i have found a very big fool. Actually wanting to show me his substance. A precious thing like that. Is he mad! Hmph, It seems the heaven still cares about me. I will gladly capitalise on this opportunity. "
