Vidhan nodded with a smile.
"So, what did Guruji ask for as Guru Dakshina (teachers fee given on completion of education)?" Sattu asked.
"Guru Kan never gave any indication in this regard," Vidhan said.
"By the way, what do you wish for?"
Thinking about his wish, Vidhan's anger started rising. After remaining silent for a few moments, he frowned and said, "I wish for the head of that vile Sudas, but Guru Kan considers revenge as poison."
Sattu felt that he had touched upon the wrong topic, so he changed the topic and said, "Big brother, do not increase your heat unnecessarily, tell me what is cooked for dinner. I had eaten before leaving home, but it seems that someone is sitting in my stomach who does not let it get satisfied."
Vidhan remained calm, he composed himself. He looked at the rising sun, then tried to smile and said- "Your favorite food is ready."
"Sambhar!" said Sattu, widening his eyes in delight.
"Yes, eat to your heart's content," Vidhan said as he patted her on the back and got up.
The spinning Top fell from Vidhan's palm because of the thumping. Sattu picked up the spinning Top and tied it in his dhoti.
Vidhan asked while feeding his beloved cow Ruby tied to the Banyan tree in the courtyard- "Where are you going this morning with a basket on your head?"
"Mother has sent me to collect mahua (a type of grass).Mother keeps provoking father that I only keep playing around the house all day and do not help in the work. So that I take an interest in the work, she has sent me to collect mahua. How can interest in work be generated by collecting mahua?" said Sattu, wrinkling his nose.
"Aunty is just trying to make you develop the habit by doing small things. Vidhan Spoke.
"I was not born to collect Mahua flowers," said Sattu, raising his head.
"For what purpose were you born, great Sattu?" asked Vidhan, smiling.
Sattu raised his hands towards the blue sky, puffed his chest and said proudly, "One day I will become an emperor. This whole earth will be my slave and all directions will resound with my fame."
"Oh, Great Emperor! You will tear the earth apart." Vidhan said with folded hands, bowed head and pretending to be scared.
"Don't make fun of me, brother!" Said Sattu pouting.
