"Kaguya-sama, it's time for your bath, everything has been meticulously prepared as you ordered." Konan knocked on her bedroom door and informed her.
I got up from my bed after a long stretch and allowed her to enter with a "Come in."
Konan entered the room and with my permission began to remove my clothes. Once naked, I headed towards the hot water bath that awaited me.
I was currently in Amegakure, located in the Land of Rain. As its name implies, in this place the rain never stops.
Amegakure is a village that is highly industrialized, it is considered a land isolated from the outside world.
The Land of Rain is located in the center of the entire geographical map, surrounded by the Land of Fire, Wind and Earth; due to this Amegakure became a battlefield between all the ninja nations in the previous wars, and to date it has never fully recovered.
With Kara's leader Jigen eliminated and its only member, Amado, working for Konohagakure, Amegakure is free once again.
Suddenly, Konan entered the bathroom, her naked body only covered by a towel, showing off her long, delicate legs. "Allow me to wash your hair and back, Kaguya-sama."
I raised an eyebrow in surprise at her actions and allowed her to.
As Konan rubbed her back, she said "Thank you for keeping your word and saving my home." Konan thanked her sincerely.
'So that's why she's doing this' I thought with a smile "Don't thank me, eliminating Kara benefited me too."
Konan didn't respond and instead began washing her long hair.
It had been a year since she eliminated Isshiki, and they had just moved to Amegakure with the intention of staying permanently.
Konan chose the ideal time to thank her.
"Konan, as you know, I have decided to stay in Amegakure for a long time," I said, she nodded. "What I am about to tell you, you probably won't like, but Amegakure is trash." She stopped her hands for a second before continuing to wash my hair, agreeing with my words. "The village is made up of large towers, but they are used as a graveyard, the village itself is more of a graveyard than a place where people can live. I plan to reform it, to make this place one where people don't die from hunger and cold."
Even at this time, the people of Amegakure were still suffering. The land was not arable and the streets were flooded. There were few jobs available and civilians had no choice but to become Shinobi to make a living, those who were unfit died in the streets and their bodies were thrown into the water for the currents to wash them away.
Everything in this place was trash, and since no one had any intention of changing it, she would either do so, or she would remain Trash.
"And I still don't understand why Sanshōuo no Hanzō's corpse rests in one of the tallest towers in the village, as if he deserved a resting place after everything he did," I said, feeling disgusted at the thought of a man like him.
"..." Konan didn't answer, though she nodded.
Sanshōuo no Hanzō, or Hanzō of the Salamander, was the absolute leader of Amegakure, and was killed by Nagato, who controlled Pain and murdered his entire family and acquaintances, taking control of the village in the process.
Konan still remembered that day that became the worst day of her life, when Hanzō captured her and threatened Yahiko with killing her. If she hadn't been so trusting at that moment, if she had been stronger, Yahiko would still be alive, and possibly Nagato as well.
Kaguya was right, that bastard didn't deserve a resting place, but for some reason, Nagato allowed it.
"I'll start by making the eternal rain that falls on this village disappear." I told Konan and she looked visibly surprised.
Konan wrapped her in a hug from behind and rested her head on her shoulder.
"I can never thank him for everything he's doing for Amegakure..." she muttered.
"No, you can't," I replied haughtily.
...
All of the Shinobi and citizens of Amegakure were summoned to the same place. They were also told that if they did not obey the summons, they would suffer a gruesome death. It was not a threat, but the people took it as such.
While all of the Shinobi and citizens of Amegakure took shelter in the tower that was used as the main building of the village, Kaguya rose into the skies, positioning herself in the center of the village as the rain soaked her face.
Everyone looked at her speechlessly and saw how a huge amount of Chakra came out of her and covered the skies of the entire village, preventing the rainwater from continuing to fall on it.
Everyone smiled and applauded this feat, tired of a life of eternal rain.
The next image would be one that they could never erase from their minds.
The entire village was destroyed by a sonic wave that created an earthquake of enormous magnitudes when it hit the ground.
The gigantic towers, which served as a cemetery for the fallen, were destroyed, not even their homes were spared.
After the destruction, creation began. New towers and buildings were built from nothing with the power of Kaguya, rebuilding the village from scratch.
The small, formerly industrialized village was transformed into a beautiful city full of vegetation and life, with buildings that exhibited Gothic architecture, characterized by its slenderness and verticality.
The structures of the city were notable for the enormous pointed arches and large windows with colored stained glass in their large towers surrounded by enormous roots, which would serve as roads.
Other structures reflected an artistic and spiritual expression, seeking to reach impressive heights and convey an ascension to the divine, a goal that the Ōtsutsuki desperately sought.
Just like in Konohagakure, which had monuments of the former Hokage, Kaguya decided to create, around the main building of the village, three full-length statues of the most important leaders Amegakure had had in recent years.
Ignoring of course the existence of Hanzō of the Salamander.
She also wanted to show preferential treatment to Konan with this act. One of the statues was of Nagato, the other of Konan, who became the leader of Amegakure with Nagato's death and the main statue was her own, which she added as an act of superiority, making it slightly larger than the other two.
She also left room for other future statues of future leaders of Amegakure, although she doubted she would easily hand this place over to someone else.
And her death was not in her plans.
When all of the citizens of Amegakure were given the green light to leave the main building of the village, they all began to explore it with great curiosity, though some of them had their own thoughts regarding what had happened.
On Kaguya's orders, Konan mobilized all of the available Shinobi to begin giving each citizen a home.
The village was rebuilt to house a hundred times the amount of citizens it had before, so none would live on the streets like they did before.
The orphans were sent to the new orphanages, where they would not have to fight for food or be mistreated.
Kaguya also made sure to clear a large plot of land where crops could be grown, with this, many men and women would get jobs and be able to feed their families.
Though all of this had to be handled by Konan, as Kaguya would not be bothered with such mundane things.
He only improved the town because it was ugly and it bothered him every time he saw it through his window.
Although Kaguya thought that, Konan thought very differently.
Deep down, Konan knew that Kaguya had done this because she was a good woman and she didn't like seeing so much suffering around her even though she had the power to stop it.
