"He is cruel " Ann cried while eating from the bowl of popcorn in her hands.
She's watching a movie.
" He should have broke up with her politely not humiliating her like this, I can feel her pains" she cried louder.
The door bell started ringing.
" Who could that be at this time" she said and stared at the wall clock, it's 3 already.
" Maybe Tracy is back" she stood up and wipe her tears as she approached the door.
" You" she said when she's saw Daniel, he is their next door neighbor.
" Yes it's me" Daniel replied.
" You came to inform me that you're back from school or what?" She questioned.
" Why would I do that?" He scoffed.
" Then what the hell are you doing Infront of my apartment?" She questioned.
" You're fucking disturbing the whole building with your loud cry and the volume of your movie is too high, I can't fucking concentrate on the book I'm reading " he complained and Ann laughed.
" You're dumb that's why nothing is entering your brain" she cussed.
" Dumb me?" He asked rhetorically.
" I'm off " Ann shut the door.
" Yay you better low the volume or I'm going to report you to the landlord " he screamed from the outside.
" That little punk, he has no single respect for me, I'm old enough to be his mom... no I'm just 25, his big sis rather an honourable one at that matter" she muttered as she sat back.
" He is lucky I likes his brother or I would have told the landlord to kick them out, I'm too good, I just can't watch my Henry in pains" she giggled.
She check the bowl of popcorn and it's empty,
" Did I finish it?" She asked trying to remember if she finished it before going out.
" Anyways it's fine" she said and gulped down the remaining yogurt in the bottle.
She covered it back and head to their mini fridge.
She kept the empty bowl of popcorn and the bottle of yogurt inside the fridge before closing it.
" Tracy isn't back and the day is still fucking young, I should take a stroll" she said and rushed into their room.
" I look pretty " she smiled staring at herself in the mirror.
" Should I park my hair in a ponytail?" She tried parking it but she left it.
" It's looks better, I'm sure his heart is going to race immediately he sees me" she closed her mouth as crazy imagination fills her head.
She stared at her bumbum.
" It's getting bigger" she screamed before rushing out of the room, she switched off the TV before finally going out.
She met Daniel outside,
" I thought you said you're reading?" She asked.
" I couldn't concentrate all thanks to you" he replied.
" Don't even say that, anyways,how do I look?" She asked sweeping her hair behind her head.
" You look like an ancient witch " he laughed.
" Yay! I dont believe you" she scoffed.
" I'm going out, you can have the whole compound to yourself" she said.
" I pray you gets kidnapped and sold into slavery so I won't have to be seeing you every day" he said.
" Yay I'm going to kill you" she tried grabbing him but he took to his heels on time.
*** KAY'S EATERY ***
Ann stood by the transparent glass as she watch Henry attend to customers.
" Gosh he is super cute even while working" she praised.
" I'm so lucky" she couldn't stop talking.
A lady came by and whisper something into his ears
" What the fuck is she telling him, why would she whisper something in his ears, she has a dead wish huh?" she kept groaning and when she raised her head, Henry is no where to been seen.
Where did he go?" She asked and a hand touched her from behind..
" Gosh" she screamed and turned, it's Henry.
" Henry" she beamed.
" What are you doing here?" He asked.
" I was passing by and I saw that pretty pastry, it's looks yummy" she lied.
" You know you aren't good at lying so quite" he said and she started picking on her fingers shyly.
'Me? He doesn't know that I'm a professional liar, I can tell lies that'd raise the dead, I'm just staying low key' she thought.
" You should go home and stop roaming around okay" he instructed touching her hair fondly and she smiled.
She loves it when he touches her hair.
" You should rest up as well remember you'll be starting work tomorrow " he said.
" Which work?" She faced him.
" The interview you went for today or you didn't get the job?" He asked.
" Let's talk about it tonight " she said.
" Okay then, I need to go back to work, see you later" he said before walking in.
" I want to stay longer" she pouted and an idea popped into her head.
She smiled and walk into the restaurant..
" A cup of coffee " she ordered after taking her sit.
Henry tried attending to her but Suzy the lady that whispered something into his ears the other time stopped him.
" I'll serve her" she took the tray from him.
" Why are you still here when he told you to go home " Suzy asked after dropping the mug of coffee on the table.
" Am I supposed to answer that?" Ann asked.
" Yes...
" I don't get it, are you my Mom or my grandma?" Ann cut in and Suzy scoffed.
" I dont have time to argue with you, finish your coffee and just leave" she said and turned to walk away.
" I know you have eyes on Henry but I bet, you're wasting your time" Ann said and Suzy turned back...
" What are you insinuating?" She asked.
" No need for long capping, to cut the long story short, Henry is mine and we'd get married soon" she said seriously.
Suzy was about to laugh out loud but she controlled herself and only chuckled before walking away.
" That damn bitch" she cussed and took a sip from the coffee.
" I have to sip it slowly so that I can stay longer.
She turned and saw Suzy laughing and hitting Henry gently.
" What are they discussing that's making her laugh like a moron?"
" Is she touching him on purpose to make me feel jealous or what?" Ann scoffed and took another sip from the coffee.
Later the evening « Ann's apartment »
Dinning
" So you got kicked out as usual?" Tracy asked as they eat gently.
" You're a teacher in one of the prestigious school in Korea so you should know that talking while eating is not a good etiquette" Ann replied.
" Oh the almighty lecturer teach me" Tracy scoffed.
" I'll gladly do that " she smiled.
" So you aren't getting a job anytime soon huh?" Tracy asked.
" I will but it's going to take a matter of time to find a good job....
" Hope you haven't forgotten you gat Nicky to take care of" Hailey reminded and Ann sighed.
" I know but the problem is no one is willing to accept me as their worker" she complained.
" Who will accept you with such profile you go around with?" Tracy asked.
" We seriously need to trash it" Hailey said.
" Don't even dare" Ann warned.
" Then hide it properly away from me, cuz it's gone once I set my eyes on jt " she said.
" It's almost time for my program" Tracy said after looking at the wall clock. It's almost 9.
" I'm watching with you" Ann said.
" Too bad I only bought one bowl of popcorn and one bottle of yogurt and I aren't sharing it" Tracy shook her head..
' wait is she referring to the same popcorn and yogurt I ate earlier?' the thought alone made her chuckle
**Best way restaurant**
" You're Scarlet right?" Louis ask already sitting down.
" Yeah, you're late" scarlet said..
" It's 7pm on the dot " Louis said.
" Oh" she muttered after checking her wrist watch.
" You came earlier obviously because you're too eager to meet me" he smirked and Scarlet smiled.
" A bottle of whiskey " he ordered.
" I'll be right back" the waiter said before leaving to get the bottle of whiskey.
" You're Scarlet, the second daughter of the famous business tycoon George" he started.
" Hmm, you know quite alot about me, guessed you did research" she flaunted her hair and he chuckled.
" Well I know alot about you...
" For sure, who doesn't know me, I'm the almighty Louis" he bragged.
The waiter came back with the bottle of whiskey and two glasses.
He dropped it on the table before leaving .
Louis poured himself a glass full of whiskey and took a sip before facing Scarlet.
" Let's not waste much time, I have few questions for you" he said.
" Sure you can go ahead" she replied.
" How many trophies did you win back then in your school days?" He asked.
" What kind of trophy?" Scarlet asked.
" Of being either the hottest or most beautiful?" He elaborated.
" I didn't win any ..
" Like seriously?" He cut in and she nodded.
" Gosh! Then things can't work out for us , I've won over thousands of trophies already " he bragged.
" What does winning a trophy has to do with getting to know each other?" Scarlet asked.
" Alot, it proves that we're aren't compatible, let's not waste time, I'll settle the bills, you can leave when you're done drinking " he stood up and left.
