Chapter 20 - Chapter 403: The Convergence

Jane realized something was wrong. The sky curtain wouldn't speak without reason. Since It had warned Thor, she must be in trouble!

She hurriedly led the children down the stairs, preparing to leave the factory. Just then, the instrument in her hand began to beep, growing increasingly frantic.

Heimdall also heard the sky curtain's voice. He began to search for Jane Foster on Earth. Meanwhile, in New York, Thor smashed through the glass of Stark Tower and landed on the ground. The next second, the Bifrost descended from the sky, transporting him away.

He then arrived via the Bifrost outside the factory where Jane was. He saw Jane and a group of children running out of the factory from a distance.

Because she was concerned about the children, she fell behind. Just as she was about to leave the factory, a powerful suction force pulled Jane Foster backward, and she vanished.

Thor sensed something was wrong and immediately rushed towards her, but he was a second too late. He lunged, but grasped only air. Jane had disappeared without a trace!

"Damn it! Where did she go!!!" Thor roared in anger, then looked up at the sky curtain.

"Interesting!" The narrator didn't answer Thor's question, but instead made a cryptic comment.

"Answer me! Where did she go!!! Heimdall! Help me find her!!!" Seeing that the sky curtain didn't respond, Thor became even more anxious. He chose to call out to Heimdall, hoping he could see where Jane had gone.

But Heimdall was also surprised, because he found that after Jane was sucked away, he couldn't see her location!

Meanwhile, Jane found herself in a mysterious place. It was pitch black all around, but strangely, she could see her own fingers. She had no idea where the light source was.

"Daisy!!! Thor!!!" Jane shouted, but there was no response. She had seen Thor rushing towards her just before she was pulled away. Then, in a blink of an eye, she had arrived here.

She looked around and saw a huge stone pillar behind her. Red light flickered in the middle of the pillar. Jane realized that this was most likely the source of her trouble.

After all, the sky curtain wouldn't speak without a purpose. It had said she was in trouble, so she must be.

Clearly, she was already in trouble, so things couldn't get much worse. She decided to walk towards the pillar, wanting to know what had brought her here.

She crouched down and looked through a gap at the interior of the pillar. She saw a pool of flowing liquid inside. She retreated in fear, turning to flee.

But unexpectedly, the Aether particles inside suddenly grabbed her arm, pulling her forcibly towards it. Then, they all rushed towards her, entering her body in an instant.

The stone pillar, which had been propped up by the Aether particles, instantly collapsed and closed. Jane looked at her body in horror, feeling some kind of power surging within her.

Then, she felt a wave of dizziness and lost consciousness.

Meanwhile, far away in the unknown depths of space, a massive spaceship slowly lit up. Malekith, the king of the Dark Elves, sensed the power of the Aether and awakened from his long slumber.

He looked at the Dark Elves who were gradually reviving within the spaceship and spoke in an ancient language: "The Aether has awakened us! The Convergence begins again!"

In a deep red space, the Aether particles swirled around Jane's body, spreading her arms wide and lifting her into the air.

Thor waited anxiously near the abandoned factory. He had just returned to Asgard and learned that even Heimdall couldn't see where Jane had gone. So, he could only return to the factory and wait.

At the same time, he had notified Tony and the others. Learning of Jane Foster's disappearance, Tony and the others immediately boarded a jet and headed towards London. They were still on their way.

Several hours passed unknowingly. Jane suddenly reappeared inside the factory. Heimdall immediately saw her and notified Thor.

Jane also woke up. She opened her eyes and saw a strange blue light above her, but it quickly disappeared.

She ran out of the building, just as Thor was about to go inside to look for her.

"Where did you go, Jane? Heimdall couldn't see you!" Thor looked at her with concern, knowing that the trouble the sky curtain had mentioned must be related to Jane's sudden disappearance.

"I...I don't know! It felt like something entered my body! And then...and then I don't know anything!" Jane recalled everything she had seen in the dark space.

Hearing Jane's words, Thor touched her cheek and arm, and found that there was indeed a strange energy surging in her body. Thor's expression changed slightly.

Several police officers approached. They had arrived after seeing the Bifrost appear. Because Thor was concerned about Jane's safety, he insisted on waiting there, and also waiting for Tony and the others to arrive, so these police officers had to wait with him.

Now seeing Jane Foster appear, one of the officers approached, curious about what she had experienced in the past few hours. After all, not everyone gets mentioned by the sky curtain.

Jane herself couldn't explain clearly what she had experienced. Given that Thor was present, and the Avengers were reportedly on their way, the officer politely asked her to return to the station to make a statement.

But as soon as he touched her, a powerful force erupted from her body. The officer was immediately thrown back. Thor, who was standing beside her, was also pushed back a step, and Jane herself was thrown into the air.

"Jane! Jane!!! Are you alright?" Thor stabilized himself and quickly rushed to her, helping her up from the ground.

"Thor... What happened?" Jane clearly didn't understand what was going on. Thor helped her stand firm.

Several police officers pointed their guns at Jane. One of them, holding a baton, cautiously approached, looking at Jane. "She's dangerous! Please put your hands behind your head!"

Thor had wanted to take Jane back to Asgard, but thinking that Tony had Maya and Helen Cho, who were familiar with biology and medicine, as well as Banner and others, he changed his mind. And Tony and the others would arrive in less than an hour. If they couldn't help, it wouldn't be too late to go to Asgard.

"This lady is unwell! The Avengers are on their way here! You don't need to worry about anything else!" Thor had already said this before, and now he reiterated it.

Hearing the name of the Avengers, the police could no longer force Jane Foster. They simply requested support from their superiors and called for an ambulance.
