"Sir, Iron Legion 1-47 has deployed!" Jarvis monitored the situation in real-time, reporting to Tony.
"What are those two mages doing?" Tony looked down at the streets below.
"Mr. Strange and Miss Christine are assisting with the evacuation! Mr. Pietro is leading the staff in Stark Tower to safety." Jarvis quickly reported what the previously unseen individuals were doing.
"Okay! Jarvis, assemble the Mark Destroyer I armor for me! I'm heading over!" Tony took a deep breath and immediately turned, heading towards the Malibu mansion.
"Sir! The Destroyer I armor is being assembled. Please note that the armor's newly installed multi-energy beam has not been tested. Use with caution!"
Tony didn't care about this issue. He accelerated, gradually moving away from the city. "Everyone, I'll be back soon. The Iron Legion is on its way! The drone swarm has also been deployed. Hold on, our reinforcements are coming!"
"Yeah! Are you going to protect your little buddy?" Rhodey, pulling away from a Dark Elf warship, returned the words Tony had teased him with in the sky curtain.
"Oh! Come on! Jarvis, where's Carol?" Tony complained speechlessly, then asked about Captain Marvel's location, but he didn't notice that the air directly in front of him was a little off.
"Sir! There seems to be something in front of you?" Jarvis suddenly alerted Tony.
Tony was stunned for a moment, looking up at the front, but he didn't see anything until he crashed head-on into the Dark Elves' mothership...
"Ow!!! Shit!!! What the hell was that!" Tony cried out in pain, falling headfirst. He felt dizzy, and even though the Mark IX's shock absorption system was excellent, such an unexpected high-speed collision with an object was enough to make his neck hurt; he was lucky it wasn't broken.
Due to Tony's impact, Malekith decided not to hide anymore. The entire massive mothership revealed itself, hovering over New York City, and seven or eight more small warships flew out of it.
"Holy crap!!!" Falcon, Sam Wilson, seeing the huge mothership so close, couldn't help but curse. He immediately turned and flew in the other direction. He had already seen two warships flying towards him.
"Help!!!" Sam was being relentlessly pursued by two warships. Thor, not far from him, saw this and immediately flew towards him, summoning lightning from afar to intercept one of them!
"Ah! Damn it! Jarvis! Autopilot!" Tony crashed into the mothership and fell straight down. Fortunately, he ordered Jarvis to fly automatically in time, so he didn't crash to the ground. Jarvis took control of the Mark IX and continued towards the Malibu mansion, while Tony took the opportunity to ease the pain.
"Banner! How's your situation?" Rhodey, after firing several missiles deployed on War Machine's shoulders, asked Banner on the other side.
"I'm fine! But my armor is out of ammo!" Just after destroying two warships, not only was Tony's armor's ammunition depleted, but Banner's was too. Only Rhodey, who was covered in ammunition, had any left.
"What do we do? Are you going to let the big green guy out?" Rhodey frowned. It was clear that Banner, without ammunition, couldn't help much.
"No! This is the city center!" Banner refused without hesitation. He would rather just stand aside and use his repulsors to assist than let the Hulk out in the middle of New York City.
He didn't want the disaster in Sokovia from the sky curtain to be repeated in New York. The previous incident had already made many citizens fear the Hulk's existence. If the Hulk really appeared in New York and caused damage, he would definitely face tremendous public pressure.
"Fuck! Can someone give me some support? Damn aliens, I can't shake them!" At this time, Sam's voice came. Although Thor had blocked one for him, he was still being relentlessly pursued by the other warship, unable to escape no matter what. In just a few dozen seconds, he had nearly been hit several times.
"Coming!" Rhodey and Banner couldn't worry about that anymore. They immediately flew to help Sam.
Inside Stark Tower, Wanda, after discovering that Algrim was rushing towards that small warship, wanted to raise her hand to stop him, but Algrim had already anticipated her action and threw a black hole grenade at her.
Wanda had to stop and cast a spell to retreat. Natasha saw this and immediately threw Mjolnir. Algrim didn't dodge, directly enduring the hit, and entered the interior of the warship. The warship immediately took off and left Stark Tower.
Natasha recalled the hammer and found that Algrim's warship was heading upwards. Her expression immediately changed. "Not good! His target is the stuff upstairs!"
Hearing this, Wanda raised her hand and opened a portal. Natasha and Captain America rushed in and arrived at the room where the Tesseract, the Mind Scepter, and the Aether were stored.
Wanda followed them in and immediately raised her hand to summon another new portal. Opposite was her room in Kamar-Taj. Natasha and Captain America looked at each other and chose to send the three treasures over.
Kamar-Taj had the Ancient One present. It wouldn't be easy for this group of aliens to take the things away. Captain America couldn't help but marvel at how useful portals were. He had previously been thinking about how to protect these things.
The Ancient One came to Wanda's room, looked at the several items that had fallen on her bed, waved her hand and put them into the Mirror Dimension. She nodded to Wanda through the portal, and Wanda felt relieved and closed the portal.
"Okay! The things are safe! Now it's time to kick these damn guys out of Earth!" Captain America breathed a sigh of relief. Then, he looked fiercely at the Dark Elves who were wreaking havoc in New York.
"Yeah! I can't wait!" Natasha twirled the hammer in her hand, swung it a few times, and then smashed through the glass on the other side and rushed out.
Captain America looked at the floor that had been smashed through three sides of glass in less than a day and complained, "Stark's glass is really unlucky. It gets smashed all the time..."
"Hahaha!" Wanda was amused by him, and then followed Natasha out, not forgetting to open a portal for Captain America to send him to the ground to evacuate the crowd.
"Alright, it seems I can't help much with the battle in the sky!" Captain America shrugged, entered the portal, and began to direct people to safety.
Fortunately, New York had now built many underground shelters, and a large number of citizens had fled New York before. The current number of citizens in New York was not that many, and the underground shelters could accommodate most of them. The remaining ones who were farther away were arranged to leave New York in the opposite direction.
