I was sitting on the basketball bleachers, trying to find my bike keys, running late and having to go pick up Stiles, when all of a sudden a ball hit me in the face. A bunch of guys laughed, I looked up and saw...Derek that idiot Hale.

-Why don't you pay attention, Hale?- I said, covering my nose, which was beginning to bleed.

-Why do you put your face in front of the ball? - he said with his sarcastic tone

"The basket is on the opposite side, idiot," I complained as I stood up.

-Little Stilinski has a big mouth- he said

-I'm going to give you a big punch- I threatened as I passed by him.

I left as fast as I could until I collided with someone who made me fall.

-Idiot...- I said under my breath when I was on the floor

-What language- said that stranger

"I'm sorry, I said it to myself," I said, somewhat embarrassed.

—Are you okay? Your nose is bleeding— I said in a worried tone.

—Yes, I'm okay, I'm sorry, that idiot Hale hit me with the ball — I explained.

—Derek hale? - I asked

-Who else? Do you know him? -

-Of course...he's my nephew- he said and I froze

-ahhh sure, I think I'd better go- I said and walked on

-What's your name? - he asked, turning to look at me.

- Goodbye Uncle Derek - I said as I continued walking

I didn't know it then, but from that moment on my life would change forever.

Peter Hale had come into my life and I wasn't about to leave.
