The next morning, Hazel woke up early. Today she is going to her old school to get some of her documents. She is transferring to a new university, ordered by Axel. The alpha said that he will pay for her studies as well.
She took her towel and went straight to the bathroom. She was humming a happy sound as she put up her hair in a bun. Her oval face showed up, giving details to her pointed small nose and cupid bow lips.
"I look ugly" she pouted, playing with her curly brown hair before stepping into the bathtub.
She leaned and relaxed for a while. Hazel couldn't help but smile when she was thinking that she would not study in the university she wanted. She asked Axel if she can get onlines classes but the Alpha said that he prefers her to go to the school ground herself rather than studying at home.
All of this feels like a dream to her. At first, she was very intimidated by Axel's dark and serious aura, but then as weeks passed by, she realized that the man has a soft spot.
She couldn't help but smile while thinking that fate finally gave her luck.
After taking a bath, she quickly put on her jeans with white polo top. A beige sandals and a small bag is enough for her powder and lipstick. Hazel braided her hair before going out of her room.
Today, Theo has classes and he will be left in Henry and Mike's care while she will be busy and away from the mansion. She took the sandwich that's supposed to be her breakfast and headed out fast.
"Miss Hazel is already here,"
A familiar voice coming from one of the men in black struck her. Hazel blinked her eyes and rubbed it. She thought that her eyes were just deceiving her, but she was wrong.
Five men were lined up next to a black car. They are all waiting for her like bodyguards.
"Why are you guys here?" she asked.
"Pardon our rudeness, Miss Hazel. The boss told us to accompany you and make sure to take you home." One of them stepped forward and said,
The lady froze and her face turned pale. She had no intention of walking inside the school campus with them following her like dogs. These are already embarrassments. Besides, she also planned to meet with her friends today.
"Also, Miss Hazel." One of them took out a small black box and opened it in front of her. "The boss told us to make you use this." He said in a serious voice.
Hazel almost gasped. She blinked and saw that her eyes were not deceiving her again. The item inside that box is Axel's black card. A lot of money. Is this the reason why she needed to go out with them around her? It's a bit awkward for her, but also an opportunity.
The Alpha is the one who offered her his black card. She did not ask for any of it.
"Are we not going, Miss Hazel?"
Her stiff shoulders and her eyes went back to the man who asked her. He is still holding the box and waiting for her to take the card.
"I don't need the card," she declined.
"I'm sorry but it was Boss' orders to tell you to use it according to your needs and wants. We will get fired if we do not let you use it." One of them said with a sad voice.
Hazel had no choice but to take the card and rode the black car. Sometimes she can see those people walking on the streets glancing at the car she is riding. They might be thinking that the one inside it is a prestigious person.
She couldn't help but feel uncomfortable and conscious.
When they reached the school, she told them to park at the back of the school. Then Hazel told them to not follow her, but since they are only following Axel's orders, the lady couldn't do a thing.
While walking in the school grounds having these men in black following her, Hazel became the center of attraction. Some are even gossipping and whispering in front of her eyes. Of course, her bully classmates are also there.
They are either rolling or bawling their eyes out because they couldn't believe what they are seeing right now. They are also secretly inspecting those men in black following Hazel.
The lady just shrugged all of these and headed to the faculty office. She stayed there for a couple of minutes before finally getting all of her grades and other stuff. She also thanked and waved proper goodbyes to her professors who are kind to her.
Even though this university is not prestigious enough, there are a lot of memories she built here. Those memories will remain with her.
"HAZEL!!"
As soon as she stepped down the stairs, she immediately heard that familiar voice. A smile formed across Hazel's cheeks as she welcomed the owner of the voice.
"I miss you!" Adeline, her best friend exclaimed.
Both of them kissed each other on the cheeks. Adeline was about to talk when the aura around them suddenly changed. Those men in black looked at her through their tinted black glasses.
"She's my friend." Hazel said.
As soon as she said this, those five men around them gave space and looked away. One of them apologized and said to continue their business as if they were not there.
"You did not inform me that you hired bodyguards now." Adeline said.
"It's not like that!" Hazel quickly exclaimed, waving her hands up. "It's a long story," she added.
Hearing this, the girl with straight blonde hair wrapped her arms around Hazel and showed a mischievous smile. Seeing this smile, Hazel's cheeks blushed.
"Don't tell me, you already found a rich sugar daddy, huh?" Adeline insisted. "Look at you transferring university now!"
"Adeline, it's not like that." Hazel said, covering her face.
"Then come and explain everything to me." Adeline said, pulling her to the nearest coffee shop.
