Sophie's eyes nearly pop out of her head. "Bite Leon? Are you out of your mind? He's my idol! I can't just go around biting him!" she mentally yells at the Short - Legged Cat System.
The system's voice is as cold as ice. "You don't have a choice. Remember, failure means a one - way ticket to another tragic end."
Sophie's heart pounds in her chest. She looks up at Leon, who's still chatting with the director, completely unaware of the crazy task she's been assigned. "When do I have to do this?" she asks, her voice trembling a little.
"Before the day's over. You better get a move on," the system replies impatiently.
Sophie sighs. It's still early afternoon, and she's praying she can find a way out of this mess. She watches Leon as he finally heads inside the villa. The kids inside are all over him, hugging and chatting non - stop. Leon seems to be in his element, smiling and playing with them.
Sophie lies down in the sun, her mind racing. She thinks back to her life as a human. She was just an ordinary girl with an extraordinary crush on Leon. Now, here she is, a cat, with a crazy system bossing her around.
As the afternoon wears on, Sophie's hunger gets the better of her. She hasn't eaten much since she woke up in this cat's body. She's been surviving on scraps, but now, the smell of food from the villa is making her mouth water.
Suddenly, the door of the villa opens, and Leon steps out. He's carrying a small bowl in his hand. Sophie's ears perk up, and her eyes light up. Could it be food?
Leon walks over to her, a warm smile on his face. "Hey, little cat. You must be hungry, right?" he says softly. He squats down and places the bowl in front of her. It's filled with milk and some small pieces of bread.
Sophie doesn't need to be told twice. She dives right in, lapping up the milk and gobbling down the bread. "Slow down, there. No need to rush," Leon says, gently stroking her back.
Sophie is in heaven. The food tastes amazing, and the gentle touch of Leon's hand on her back makes her feel so safe. For a moment, she forgets all about the crazy system and its impossible tasks.
But then, the system's voice rings out in her head. "Enjoying your meal? Don't forget what you have to do."
Sophie groans inwardly. She's just starting to feel happy, and now this. She looks up at Leon, who's still watching her with a smile. How can she possibly bite him?
As the day goes on, Sophie tries to find an opportunity to complete the task. But every time she gets close to Leon, her heart starts pounding, and she chickens out. She just can't bring herself to do it.
Evening falls, and the villa is filled with the sounds of laughter and chatter. The filming for the day is almost over, and the crew is starting to pack up. Sophie knows that time is running out.
Suddenly, Leon appears in front of her. He looks a little tired but still has a kind smile on his face. "Hey, little cat. It's been a long day, hasn't it?" he says. He reaches down and picks her up, holding her close to his chest.
Sophie's heart is racing. This is it. This could be her chance. But just as she's about to open her mouth and bite him, she hesitates. She looks into Leon's eyes and sees the kindness and warmth there. She can't do it.
The system's voice is furious. "What are you waiting for? Bite him now, or else!"
Sophie closes her eyes, trying to gather the courage. But before she can make a move, Leon starts walking towards the car. "I'm going home now, little cat. Do you want to come with me?" he asks.
Sophie's eyes widen. Going home with Leon? That's exactly what she wants. But what about the task? She's so confused.
The system seems to sense her dilemma. "If you don't bite him now, you'll never turn back into a human. But if you do, you might lose this chance to be with him."
Sophie is torn. She looks at Leon, then at the car, and then back at Leon. Finally, she makes a decision.
