By the time this news reached Riya, her mother's body had been taken to the hospital. Riya reached the hospital with the help of her neighbor Verma uncle. She was unable to understand how all this happened.
After some time, the doctor came to Riya and said, "Sorry beta, your mother is no more in this world".
After listening to him, Riya felt as if her world had been destroyed. Verma uncle took care of her and after filling all the forms, brought Ishika's dead body home. Her last rites were performed with full rituals. Verma uncle got everything done.
Anurag did not come that day as well. Riya had a hope that her father would come after hearing the news about her mother, she wished he could be with her mother for one last time, but nothing like this happened, Riya was completely shattered.
Now 1 month had passed. Riya wanted to go to work but Verma uncle did not let her go and got her admitted in a school. Verma uncle wanted to fulfill one wish of her mother. Verma uncle did not have a daughter and since Ishika and Riya started living in his neighborhood, his wish was also fulfilled. Verma uncle's name was Siraj Verma and he had a son named Uday. He considered Ishika as his sister.
Everything was going well then Uday got a job in another city and he had to go there. He was there at the time of Ishika's accident. It took him some time to come, but as soon as he got leave he caught the first train and reached there. But by then Ishika's last rites had been done.
Uday was very sad but he told his father and made all the arrangements for Riya's further studies. Now Verma uncle and Uday together took care of every need of Riya. Riya had now become an important part of their family along with being their responsibilities. She fulfilled all the wishes of Ishika, Ishika wanted to give all the happiness of the world to her daughter. Which was now being fulfilled by Siraj Nana ji and Uday Mama.
Riya now called both of them by the same name. In this way, their family was now complete.
Almost 2 more months passed. One day Riya was sitting with Verma uncle at her home when there was a knock on the gate. When Riya went to open the gate, 2-3 bodyguards came straight inside her house. Seeing them, Verma uncle came out and Anurag was following him.
Riya waited for him till her mother's last rites but he did not come. Riya had sworn that day that she will never accept Anurag as her father.
As soon as Anurag came inside, he first looked at the house and then looked at Riya and said "Let's go".
Riya and Siraj Nana ji both were not able to understand what was going on. Anurag again pointed towards Riya and said "Let's go".
Just then Nana ji came in front and said "Where are you taking this girl like this?"
Anurag said "She is my daughter! And I am taking her with me".
Nam ji then said, "When this girl's mother died, did you not think that you also have a daughter?" Anurag had no answer to this. He thought for a while and said, "From today she will stay with me" and saying this he took Riya with him. Siraj Nanaji tried hard to stop him but Anurag's bodyguard came and stopped him in between. Siraj could not do anything. Riya was sitting in the car with Anurag. Neither Anurag nor Riya talked. Riya came to her senses when the car stopped after asking about Anurag's house. She looked out of the window and there was a very big house, not just a house but a palace. Now Riya understood why her father never came back to them. Going inside Anurag signaled a maid and she came to Anurag. Pointing towards Riya Anurag said, "From today you will give her the same respect that you give me and she should never lack anything."
Saying this Anurag sent Riya to her room. In the evening when Riya was sitting in her room Anurag brought a lady to her room, this was the same lady who had looked at Riya and her mother in a very bad way and behaved like beggars. Riya looked at that lady and then started staring at Anurag, then Anurag said
"This is Ramya and from today she is your mother, so you will call Ramya mother only".
Riya was already very angry with Anurag but now she was getting more angry at his act. She looked at Ramya and then looked at Anurag and said
"I had only one mother, who is no longer in this world, and I cannot put anyone else in her place, and you are not ashamed. It has been only 4 months since my mother was killed and you have brought someone else as my mother, do you feel anything or not".
After listening to this, Anurag kept quiet for a while and then he said, "Her family has helped me a lot in my business and from today she is your mother".
After saying this Anurag left with Ramya and Riya closed her room and went to a corner and started crying and while crying she said "Mom how did you love this man? He doesn't care if you leave, why did you leave me".
Riya did not know that someone was standing outside her room and listening to her, and whoever that person was, tears were flowing from his eyes after listening to Riya. Then he quietly went away from there without making any noise.
At first Riya felt as if someone was standing on the other side of the gate and listening to her.But when he went and opened the gate there was no one there Riya thought that maybe she is remembering her mother so much that she has started getting confused now.
