Somehow I calmed myself down and started working again, when I felt like Adi Sir is coming from the front, I felt like I was missing him so much that I started seeing him.
I rubbed my eyes and looked at him again. He was really there. For a moment I felt like going to him and talking, but what does he say, then I thought let's try, it's been so long since I met Sir.
Meanwhile, a voice came from my heart, "People avoid their boss and you are going to meet him, think a little, what will you say to him, 'Hello sir?'
Everyone in the office will think you are mad after seeing you. Then after thinking a little, I thought, 'Yaar, you are right. He is my boss, I cannot meet him like this and I cannot say 'Hello sir, I am your student', so how should I talk to him?' Then, slapping my forehead lightly, I thought, 'Why do you want to talk to him, what will you say, I was remembering you sir?'
So come out of your world of thoughts and start working.
After that, I got busy with my work. After a while, when I looked at him again, sir was not there, maybe he had left. I was a little sad. I wanted to talk to sir, but a voice came from my heart, 'No, Riya, you have gone mad, keep your mind in the right place and concentrate on the work you are doing.
That day at the time of launch, everyone got a notification that a meeting was scheduled at 3 pm. Hansika ma'am asked me to bring some documents from her house, and her driver took me to her house which ma'am herself had asked so that the documents could come quickly.
I reached outside ma'am's house with her. Her house was quite big, although our house was also big but compared to that this was not a house but a mansion. We went inside her house.
There was a nanny there, to whom the driver told everything and she showed me the room where the documents were kept. After going inside the room, I reached ma'am's test. This was her office. Where she would work after coming from the office.
There were a lot of files kept on her desk, and there was one file among them which I had to take. Looking at those files I thought in my mind 'come on Riya, you can do this'. And I started searching for that file with all my heart and soul. Just then, a photo frame lying at a corner of the table started falling down because of the files. I quickly caught it.
When I straightened it, my eyes fell on the boy standing in the photo frame who looked very innocent and cute, it seemed as if all the happiness was gathered in his hands, and Hansika Ma'am was standing beside him holding his hand, there was a man standing beside him who did not look happy.
Riya: "He must be Hansika ma'am's husband and this boy's father, but even with his family, he doesn't have the happiness on his face that he should have. Probably all the fathers of the world must be like this. How must this boy be feeling? But why do I feel as if I have seen this boy somewhere? It feels like I know this boy, but how?"
Riya was thinking all this when she got a call on her phone. This call was from the office, so Riya again started looking for the file, and now she had forgotten that boy.
I reached the office with the file, and gave the file to ma'am. Then I went to the meeting room and stood near ma'am and started making all the important notes.
By the time the meeting ended, it was 6 in the evening, and the office time was also over. While going home, I stopped at a park and sat on a bench.
All the things that happened today started coming in front of my eyes, that boy was still roaming in my mind. "I don't know how I got so attached to that boy, I don't even know him."
Meanwhile, a mother was feeding her child in front of me, seeing her I remembered my mother.
"We both were so happy, even after Papa left we were each other's support, but now..."Thinking so much, tears started flowing from Riya's eyes. She felt like if her mother was with her today, she would have boosted my morale, supported me.
Now Riya's courage had left her and she started crying loudly. Meanwhile it started raining and her tears started flowing along with the rain.
Riya sat down on her knees on the ground and started crying remembering the past days. Her mother used to support her.
She never let Riya cry, whenever Riya cried she used to wipe her tears. But now she is completely alone, there is no one to support her, no one to encourage her when she gets weak, no one to give her the courage to move forward.
Now she started getting more angry at her father and Ramya. Riya thought in her mind, "Neither her father would have come to the city for work, nor her mother would have to follow him. Neither her mother would have felt sad seeing her father back, and today she would have been with her."
But now Riya could not do anything. She could only cry, in the past whenever she cried or was in some trouble, Adi Sir would always come, but now Riya was far away from even him.
Riya was thinking all this and was crying. She put her face on her knees and then the raindrops stopped falling on her. Riya looked ahead and saw someone standing over her with an umbrella.
Because of crying too much, Riya could not see clearly. So only one thing came out of her mouth
"Who are you?"
He did not say anything and just stood there.....
