Silas reaches an apartment building, the truck he's driving, splashing rainwater onto the grass beside him. Silas hurries into the apartment building, nearly slipping, in the downpour.
Rushing to the second floor, Silas bangs on Mary's apartment door, in a panic.
SILAS: Mary!
Silas calls out to her.
Mary opens the door soon after, a worried look on her face. Silas hurries into her home, closing the door behind himself.
MARY: Babe, what's wrong?
Silas places his hands on her upper arms.
SILAS: Are you okay?
MARY: What?
SILAS: Are you okay?
Silas's voice slightly jumps, and the room goes silent for a second.
MARY: Yes.
Mary softly speaks, a disturbed look in her face at this point. Silas slowly releases her.
Silas walks away from Mary, pestering the floor in her living room at this point. Mary attempts a step in his direction, but quickly stops herself.
MARY: Silas, what's going on?
Silas stops in motion.
SILAS: That oath we took earlier today, what did it really do?
MARY: The oath? The blood oath?
SILAS: Yes.
MARY: It's just supposed to keep us packed to one another. To keep us bounded.
SILAS: Well it's done a whole lot more than that.
Mary now carries a look of confusion, waiting for Silas to tell her more. Silas exhales in frustration.
SILAS: Mary, that oath…that oath fucked us.
MARY: Excuse me?
SILAS: That oath we took, it…it brought something into this world. Something dangerous. Something that attacked me, and my brother, and his girlfriend, and her family.

Mary placed her hands over her mouth, the look of shock on her face ensured me that she didn't know about any of this. I was already aware of this.
I further informed her on the situation at hand, that Anna's father…was dead. And that Anna was in an unconscious state. I told her that what happened was inhumane. The situation wasn't realistic, even though it was. Some entity was walking amongst us, freezing and killing people. People being, the ones we knew.
Mary's eyes began to tear up, I pull her into my arms. She cries into my chest, her cries muffling words. I could make out what she was saying, stating that she just wanted us to be together, forever. I felt these words. I wanted the same.

Their souls presented themselves to me, in three different jars. These souls I took, weren't from the innocent. Still, I hated hearing their screams. Even after their souls were no longer a part of their temples, their souls still could be heard screaming. By me at least.
Their loses, would not be in vein. Their departures were a step into the right direction, being the first step into resetting the world. There's so many things my absent father hadn't done properly. I could possibly blame my brother for this, having dad distracted all the time. Still, I was here to right his wrongs. Again. My father wasn't as perfect, as these humans believed.
My hands gripped the lids of these warm jars, freeing each glowing soul, one by one. The white strings of mist automatically levitated in the air, being in one spot as I concentrated my angelic telepathy, on keeping them in place.
The three souls began to spiral together, creating what I truly needed them to be as I spoke an enchantment. A white doorway was soon made afterwards.
Upon gazing through this portal, a memory came to mind. A memory with my brothers, two fellow angels, back home. Back in Paradise.
The two angels, Ramiel and Uriel, felt my disturbing nature. This was the strong link we had. As a matter of fact, calling them angels, were a disservice to them. Like me, they were Archangels.
Meeting me in the Garden, Uriel spoke up first. He asked me when did I plan on leaving. The funny thing is, I hadn't told him a thing.
I replied to him, telling him I wasn't sure yet. Uriel could always read me too well for comfort. Though we had been in battle together, many times before. He was my right hand, in a clutch. My ace that no one ever saw coming, not even our brother, "The fallen one."
Ramiel chimed in, with him asking why I would ever want to leave. Ramiel being the angel of hope, I would expect his understanding afterwards. I explained to the both of them, my reasoning.
They never did understand…

It was time. The portal was in full effect. It's shallow ending echoed shrieks that were too inhumane for the human ear. This portal could lead to anywhere, with the right level of magic. For my skill level, that was merely child's play.
I remember telling Uriel and Ramiel, that I would come back for them. I knew Uriel would aware the others of my whereabouts. I simply told them both, that I would come back for them. And like before, I stepped foot through another portal, taking all the necessary steps, to my next destination.
