Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: The Enchanted Tree and the Bonds of Family

The air was thick with a sense of wonder as the Aizawa-Yamada family stepped into the vast, mystical space that was hidden within the ancient tree. The interior was nothing short of breathtaking—walls of rich, polished wood stretched high into a vaulted ceiling, illuminated by a soft, golden glow that seemed to emanate from the very fibers of the tree itself. The room was spacious yet cozy, with intricately carved furniture and lush greenery that gave it an otherworldly charm.

Shoto, ever the stoic, glanced around with an expressionless face, his hands in his pockets. "Nice," he said in his usual monotone, though the slightest hint of awe flickered in his eyes.

It wasn't long before Geneviève and Adlar, Minoru's kit and pup, padded down the stairs, their soft footsteps barely audible on the wooden floor. They moved with the grace of their animalistic forms, their eyes sharp but warm. Geneviève, a sleek red fox with a white-tipped tail, and Adlar, a wolf pup with fur as dark as midnight, immediately sidled up to their Popa, rubbing their heads affectionately against his sides.

Minoru smiled softly, his hand gently stroking Geneviève's head. "They are my kit and pup, Geneviève and Adlar," he introduced, his voice warm with pride.

Shouta and Hizashi exchanged a look of surprise. They had expected something extraordinary, but this was beyond their wildest imaginations. Fumikage, Denki, Shoto, and Yuuga, however, seemed more fascinated by the tree itself, their eyes darting around the room, taking in every detail.

The silence was broken by Yuuga, who twirled dramatically, his sparkling eyes wide with excitement. "Popa, can I get a swan now? I need a pet as fabulous as moi," he declared, his voice dripping with theatrical flair.

Hizashi chuckled, shaking his head fondly at his son's antics. "Are you sure it's okay for us to move in here, sweetheart?" He asked, turning to Izuku. "You know your brothers love to mess and wreck a lot of things."

Izuku, ever the problem solver, didn't respond immediately. Instead, he walked over to a small cabinet, pulling out a bottle of whiskey. It was a special occasion, after all, and their alphas had a penchant for celebrating with a drink. Once he had the bottle in hand, he turned to Shouta, holding it out expectantly.

"Smash it on the ground," Izuku instructed, his voice calm but firm.

Shouta raised an eyebrow, hesitating for a moment before reluctantly taking the bottle. With a swift motion, he hurled it to the floor, the glass shattering into a thousand pieces. But before anyone could react, the shards began to move, swirling together as if guided by an invisible force. In seconds, the bottle had reassembled itself, and the whiskey looked as it was before it got smashed on the floor, flying back into Shouta's hand as if nothing had happened.

Izuku grinned. "It's been like that since we found this place. Nothing gets permanently damaged here."

The family stood in awe, the reality of their new home sinking in. This wasn't just a tree—it was a living, breathing sanctuary, a place where the impossible became possible.

Katsuki, who had been absent for a moment, returned with a set of seven keys in his hand. Each key was intricately designed, with the initials of their respective family members engraved on them. He walked around the room, handing out the keys one by one. When he reached Shouta, he handed him two keys—his and Eri's.

"These keys are for your rooms," Katsuki explained, his usual gruffness softened by the occasion.

Minoru, with Geneviève and Adlar trailing behind him, slowly made his way to his room. As he walked, he caught Yuuga's eye and tilted his head slightly, a silent invitation for him to follow. Yuuga's face lit up, and he hurried after his brother, though he made sure to move with his usual grace.

Once inside Minoru's room, Yuuga couldn't help but marvel at the space. It was a perfect blend of comfort and function, with a large bed, a desk cluttered with musical instruments, and a wall lined with shelves filled with various trinkets. Minoru was carefully cleaning one of his instruments, his movements precise and deliberate.

"I can get you a swan, you know," Minoru said suddenly, his voice calm but laced with amusement. "Animals love me for some reason."

Yuuga's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Two," he said without hesitation, his voice brimming with confidence.

Minoru chuckled. "I mean, you guys can get two pets."

Yuuga nodded enthusiastically, his eyes wandering around the room. They stopped when he caught sight of a door—a locked one, to be precise. The door was painted in a stunning blend of dusty rose and red wine, with black and gold accents that gave it an air of mystery.

"What's behind that door, love?" Yuuga asked, his voice filled with curiosity.

Minoru, now used to the nickname his brother had given him, didn't look up from his task. Instead, he reached into his pocket, pulled out a key, and tossed it to Yuuga. "Go ahead and open it. Once you're done looking, I think our alphas should be here."

Yuuga didn't need to be told twice. He unlocked the door and pushed it open, his eyes widening in shock and delight. The room was filled with weapons—guns, knives, and other armaments, all meticulously organized in glass cases. The walls were lined with shelves holding even more weaponry, each piece gleaming under the soft light.

"Oh, you're definitely going to be my favorite brother ever," Yuuga whispered, his voice filled with awe.

Minoru appeared behind him, his head resting on Yuuga's shoulder. "We had to protect ourselves somehow," he said, his voice calm but tinged with a hint of sadness. "It wasn't like we had our alphas our whole lives. I may have gone a little overboard, but hey, at least everything's organized."

He gestured to the cases. "You can take one of the case weapons if you want."

Yuuga's eyes lit up, and he immediately ran to the case he had been eyeing. Inside was a weapon that looked suspiciously like a guitar. He turned to Minoru, his face alight with excitement. "Why do you have so many cases, love?"

Minoru shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. "But hey, at least you got the one that looks like a guitar and not something else. Now you can just carry it around if you want. Actually, we should all do that. Would make things so much easier if our quirks just magically disappeared."

His voice was light, but there was a faint hint of something darker in his tone. Minoru's smile turned slightly sinister, and Yuuga couldn't help but feel a shiver of excitement run down his spine.

"We can plan that later," Minoru said, closing the case and slinging it over Yuuga's shoulder. "For now, let's go downstairs and meet your brothers' alphas."

Yuuga followed him out of the room, the guitar case bumping gently against his side. He couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation. This was just the beginning, and he knew that life in the enchanted tree was going to be anything but ordinary.

As they made their way downstairs, the rest of the family was already gathered in the main room. Katsuki was standing next to Akoyano, their arms casually draped around each other. Izuku had his arm wrapped around Touya's waist, and Minoru leaned against Averill, who looked both shy and proud.

The alphas, however, seemed to be in a silent standoff with Shouta, who was glaring daggers at them. Hizashi, ever the peacemaker, sighed and patted his husband's shoulder. "What do you feel with my triplets?" he asked, his voice soft but firm.

Shouta slumped against Hizashi, his glare softening as he took a deep breath. "Katsuki is a handful, I'll tell you that," he began, his voice tinged with both frustration and affection. "But he knows me like no other. I take care of him as much as he takes care of me. I honestly can't see myself without him. If I hadn't met him, I don't know what would have happened to me."

Akoyano smiled at Katsuki, who returned the gesture with a soft smile of his own. "Jeg elsker dig," Katsuki murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Og jeg elsker dig, skat," Akoyano replied, his voice filled with warmth.

Averill, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. "Minoru is something else," he said, his voice soft but sincere. "He's shy but fiercely independent. I'm honestly glad Akoyano told me to meet him because if he hadn't, I'd still be doubting myself. With how long we've known each other, I'm surprised he's had this effect on me. But I'm glad it's him and nobody else."

Minoru smiled softly, leaning into Averill's chest. Averill wrapped his arms around him, holding him close.

Dabi, on the other hand, was still locked in a silent staring contest with Shouta. When he finally spoke, his voice was low and rough. "Izuku is one crazy motherfucker," he said, a slight smirk playing on his lips. "He literally pushed me down here and laughed at me for hurting myself. But I care for him deeply. He showed me that there are good people out there. He showed me that there can be a rose among the thorns. He showed me that he cares for me on a whole different level. I'm just glad he's my mate because I know he'll be there for me, just as I'll be there for him."

The room fell into a comfortable silence, the weight of their words settling in the air. Shouta let out a soft sigh, leaning heavily against Hizashi.

We're going to have our hands full for the rest of our years, he thought, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

And with that, the Aizawa-Yamada family began their new life in the enchanted tree, bound together by love, loyalty, and the promise of a future filled with endless possibilities.
