Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: 2 Years Later

Shouta poured himself another cup of coffee, staring blankly out the window as the chaos of teenagers roared on around him. He had resigned himself to the fact that quiet was a distant memory, replaced by the cacophony of laughter, shouts, and the occasional screech of a pet dispute. He inhaled deeply, the bitter scent of coffee mingling with the various pets that Minoru had convinced his children were a good idea. There were three cats, two dogs, some fish that had mysteriously multiplied within weeks, and a parrot that wouldn't stop squawking "Will you just chill?!" at the top of its lungs.

"IF I HAVE TO SAY THIS ONE MORE TIME!!" He crossed his arms, his irritation rising as the noise crescended. "IT'S STILL TOO EARLY FOR A RAVE!"

Shouta's thoughts were interrupted as the triplets, sporting matching tees emblazoned with a vibrant "YOU CAN'T SEE ME" graphic, bounded down the stairs like an avalanche. He briefly wondered if they were channeling some sort of inner energy or if they had consumed entirely too much sugar before breakfast.

"Hey, Popa!" Izuku chirped, throwing himself at Shouta with such enthusiasm that he almost spilled the coffee.

"What do you want, Izuku?" Shouta muttered, trying to steel himself against their collective charm.

Katsuki slung an arm around Shouta's shoulder, grinning mischievously. "As you know—"

"We all—"

"Going to—"

"UA—"

"High School!" they chorused, and just like that, his son was gone.

Shouta could only groan at their synchronized enthusiasm. "You guys are far too energetic today," he grumbled.

"That's not all we're energetic about, popa," they chimed, their voices reaching a pitch that made Shouta reconsider his life choices.

"And why would I allow that?" Shouta narrowed his eyes defensively.

"Oh, come on, please?" They pleaded, sturdy smiles threatening to burst into laughter.

He knew this was a trap, but he couldn't help being amused. "And what kind of tattoos do you think you will get?"

"Matching ones!" They exclaimed, bouncing in place as if they were about to take off like fireworks.

His annoyance crumbled under the pressure of their excitement. "I swear, if you all come home with some little hearts or something ridiculous..." he threatened, shaking his head dramatically.

But before they could respond, pandemonium erupted when the sound of clattering paws and screeching animals burst through the air. "WHAT NOW?!" Shouta shouted, only to be answered by raucous barking and an ominous screech that could only belong to the parrot having a meltdown over a rogue cat.

"I think our pets have finally held a coup to overthrow us," he groaned, resigned as he marched towards the chaos echoing from the living room, ready to battle the furry uprising.

As he opened the door to the living room, a veritable war unfolded before him: pets were darting in every direction, an all-out brawl between fish, fur, and feathers. Just as he was processing the absurdity of the scene, one of the dogs launched itself off the couch, hitting Shouta square in the shins with a resounding thud that sent them both tumbling into a laundry pile of ridiculously colorful clothes.

"Great, the dog is trying to kill me too!" Shouta lamented, just as the cat leaped onto the back of the innocent parrot, who retaliated with a barrage of frantic squawking.

Denki appeared at the door, eyes wide with joy. "Popa! You've got to see this! It's like a wildlife documentary gone wrong!"

"Do NOT help!" Shouta pleaded, trying desperately to extricate himself from the pile of clothes while fending off a linebacker cat whose claws were business attire-grade sharp.

In the midst of the chaos, both the triplets and Izuku finally arrived, equipped with an army of makeshift weapons—a broom, a dustpan, and several plush dog toys that they had dubbed "weapons of mass distraction."

Izuku held his dog's toy aloft like a flag of peace. "Look! We can reason with them!"

"NO! WE MUST FIGHT!" Katsuki shouted, brandishing the broom like a sword. "IT'S A Matter of Honor!"

Just as Shouta found his footing, the door swung open, and in walked Hizashi—fully relaxed after Eri's dance class with an arm full of snacks. He took one look at the living room battleground and declared dramatically, "It seems I've just walked into a scene from a very chaotic sitcom!" Taking in the hissing cats, playful dogs, and a now-quivering parrot, Hizashi raised an eyebrow. "What did I miss?"

"Only the imminent end of my sanity." Shouta grumbled, dodging a flying toy as he struggled to disentangle himself from the laundry.

"Sounds like a typical Tuesday to me! Want a chip?" Hizashi offered casually, tossing one into the air.

This was the final straw. "Why is everyone so calm?!" Shouta sputtered, throwing a handful of laundry into the air, inadvertently creating a fluffy, colorful snowstorm.

And at that moment, a commotion erupted. The triplets, in a flash of teenage ingenuity, started gathering the endearing chaos. Denki and Fumikage tackled the dog, Yuuga attempted a negotiation with the parrot using a snack, and Shoto was engaged in a fierce competition to collect as many rogue toys as possible.

"FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FOR THE TEAM!" Katsuki whooped, thrusting the broom for emphasis, narrowly avoiding hitting Yuuga in the back of the head.

"Boys, this isn't an episode of 'Survivor: House Edition!'" Shouta exclaimed, laughter finally breaking through his frustration as he watched the semaphores of chaos—from his teenagers desperately trying to 'win' against the pets to the pets being utterly oblivious to the uproar.

Finally, with a flick of his hand, Shouta declared, "Alright, I give! To the victor go the spoils! Ice cream for everyone if you can contain this madness!"

The competition fizzled out. A chorus of cheers arose as everyone scrambled to glean from the previous uproar, pets included.

So, they gathered the raucous menagerie together, each arm filled with a frantic mixture of fur and feathers, and slowly but surely, the house settled into a calm chaos—until the next round, inevitably.

Shouta chuckled, placing a hand to his forehead. "I guess good luck is all I need to keep going."

And as he shared a smile with Hizashi, it struck him that, as manic as it could be, this was the life he had chosen, filled to the brim with love, laughter, and a hint of thrill-seeking chaos.

"Next time, I'm definitely getting a pet rock instead," he quipped, shaking his head as the kids settled in for the night, their laughter filling the air, a reminder of why the noise was worth every moment.

TimeSkip: An Outing Turned Into a Fight

The tattoo shop had turned into a lively debate over designs, colors, and how much is too much when it comes to matching tattoos. Shouta, having survived what felt like a chaotic pet day of doom, was ready to relax with a cup of coffee and a worn-out book. However, that was not the universe's plan for him.

As they left the tattoo shop, ready to head home, a low rumble echoed through the streets. It seemed the day had one more level of excitement in store for the group. The ground shook slightly beneath their feet, making Shouta pause mid-sentence; his eyes darted around for the source of the noise.

"Did anyone else feel that?" he asked, his brow furrowing as he instinctively stepped closer to his kids.

Katsuki smirked. "Yeah, if that's just my stomach rumbling, we might have a bigger problem, Popa."

"No, seriously—"

Before Shouta could finish, a flash of light cut through the sky, followed by a thunderous explosion that sent ripples through the air. A nearby building crumbled, sending debris raining down onto the street. Instinct kicked in; Shouta pushed his kids behind him and instinctively reached for his Quirk, his eyes glowing a blood red color and his long black hair now defining gravity, was ready to create a barrier if necessary.

"Everyone, get down!" he shouted, adrenaline surging through him.

"Whoa, what's happening?" Denki exclaimed, wide-eyed and gripping Yuuga's arm tightly.

"Is this a movie?" Izuku asked, scanning the chaos unfolding in front of them.

Just then, a group of rogue villains emerged, their laughter echoing through the chaos. They were dressed in an eclectic mix of dark hues, mismatched armor, and accessories that made it clear they weren't here for any good.

"Set the charges; we're taking this city for ourselves!" one of the villains shouted, adjusting a pair of oddly exaggerated sunglasses that reflected the destruction around them.

Shouta clutched his coffee cup tightly, utterly incensed. "We can't just stand here! Everyone, be ready!" He glanced over his shoulder at his kids, who were all wide-eyed but charged with youthful determination.

"Right!" came a chorus of voices—his kids were ready to fight.

"Katsuki, Minoru, Yuuga, Denki, protect the civilians. Izuku, Shoto, and Fumikage, let's corral these fools!" Shouta barked, his voice steady despite the chaos.

As Shouta took a step forward, the ground shook once again, the band of rogues charging with reckless abandon, yelling mantras of chaos. His attention snapped back to the immediate threat as one villain raised a device and aimed it at Izuku and Denki.

"Hey, look out!" Shouta shouted, launching himself into action just as Izuku pulled Denki to the side.

"Let's show 'em what we've got!" Katsuki yelled, revving himself up with bright sparks dancing on his palms.

A powerful blast erupted in their direction, and Shouta felt the energy from Kat's Quirk surging forth. The ocean's chaosy energy met the rogue's attack halfway, resulting in a massive explosion that lit up the street.

With the ground slick with debris, Yuuga, Minoru, Katsuki, and Denki scurried to gather civilians and usher them into a nearby shop, their resolve growing stronger with every second.

"Don't worry, we're heroes in training!" Denki said with a grin, pulling an older woman behind a barricade of theater posters that had been blown off the walls.

"Stay low, and we'll get you to safety!" another declared, his hands glowing faintly with his Quirk. The four worked seamlessly, showing the promise of their training.

As Shouta dodged incoming attacks, Fumikage shot forward, creating shadow tendrils that lashed at the nearest villains, gripping their legs and dragging them to the ground. "You won't get away with this!" he shouted, channeling the darkness into his attacks.

Shoto controlled the ice brilliantly, creating a slippery fortress that encapsulated several villains who slipped in the chaos. "We should slow them down!" he called out, crafting walls of ice with swift, precise movements.

In the meantime, Shouta stood at the frontlines, ready for anything that came his way. "You picked the wrong day to mess with our city!" he yelled, unleashing his Quirk fully—his hair floated wildly as he used it to pierce through the air like a whip, creating dark energy waves that blasted and uprooted debris, sending it flying towards the villains.

"What the fuck?" Shouta was confused. His quirk has never done anything like this and, of course, it has to be a day full of chaotic ness going around.

"Seems like we have company!" one villain shouted while swiftly avoiding the debris.

"Assault mode activated!" one of them roared, charging straight for Katsuki.

But before he could land a blow, Izuku leaped in, turning his body like a spinning top as he used his speed to create a shockwave, knocking the assailant off balance. "Okay, I'm done playing games." Izuku mumbled, huffing silently on the battle field.

And it was only the beginning.

With a burst of energy, Izuku, Katsuki, and Minoru, each with their unique Quirk powers, began to glow with a brilliant aura. Red, blue, and white, their lights intertwined, pulsating with an otherworldly force.

"Let's finish this!" Katsuki shouted, his eyes blazing with an intense blue light. He raised his hands, unleashing a maelstrom of turbulent energy that ripped through the air.

"Not on my watch!" Minoru chimed in, his face a tranquil white mask as his Quirk surged forth, unleashing an avalanche of white chaos that shredded the remaining villains. His aura seemed to calm the air around him, an eerie contrast to the mayhem he unleashed.

"Time to show them the meaning of Chaos!" Izuku exclaimed, his eyes burning with a fierce red light as his Quirk roared to life. A whirlwind of red energy burst forth, engulfing the battlefield and obliterating any remnants of the villainous army.

Together, the trio unleashed a maelstrom of power that shook the very foundations of the city. Buildings crumbled, debris scattered, and the villains were reduced to nothing more than a memory. The once-citizens-turned-villains, who had threatened the city with chaos, now lay lifeless and scattered across the streets.

As the dust settled, the three friends stood at the epicenter of the battle, their quirks burning with an intense, pulsing light. The air was heavy with an electric charge, a testament to the immense power they had unleashed.

The streets were quiet once more, except for the distant hum of the Quirks, which still lingered, a reminder of the unfathomable might they had displayed.

With a nod, the three friends dissipate their Quirs' aura, their powers returning to a manageable level. Katsuki's blue glow faded, Minoru's white aura disappeared, and Izuku's red light dimmed, leaving behind a faint, fiery ember that seemed to pulse with an inner heat.

Shouta, including their siblings, stood together, their eyes gleaming with a mix of exhaustion and elation.

"Well, that's done," Izuku said, a grin spreading across his face as he gazed at the devastation around them.

"Let's not forget the ice cream," Minoru chimed in, a mischievous glint in his eye.

Katsuki chuckled, a low, rumbling sound. "And the tattoos, I suppose."

Shouta smiled, his eyes shining with pride. "I think we can manage that. After all, when the battle is over, family is all that matters." *I should've brought Hizashi and my baby Eri with us. I need a drink.*

As one, the riplets walked away from the carnage, hand in hand, leaving the city once the city was restored with a flick of Minoru's wrist. The world seemed to fade into the background, and all that remained was the warm glow of family, friendship, and the unbreakable bond between them.

The sirens in the distance grew fainter, their urgency replaced by a sense of quiet, almost imperceptible calm. It was as if the city itself was exhaling a sigh of relief, its people unaware of the chaos that had raged mere moments before.

As they strolled down the street, Denki turned to his family with a broad grin. "Hey, guys? Do you think we could get ice cream now? I've got a huge craving for something sweet."

The others chuckled, their laughter carrying on the wind as they disappeared into the city, leaving behind the remnants of the battle and the whispered tales of the day's heroism, forever lost in the annals of history.
