Chapter 7 - TBB 7: Heavenly 7

The Legend of the Heavenly Seven

They were known as the Seven Warriors of Heaven—a group feared across the world for their merciless killings and legendary encounters. Their names were never spoken aloud.

Not out of respect. But out of fear. The Heavenly Seven were considered a critical threat to the ruling kingdoms. Every nation sought to eliminate them—dead or alive.

But then, they vanished. Disbanded. Each one choosing to walk their own path, to carve out a life beyond the bloodshed. Yet, whispers remain…

"If the Heavenly Seven were ever to reunite— They alone could rival the power of Shinda-Me."

No one knows if they are still alive. No one knows if they are truly gone. But their story is far from over.

(Yawns) "Morning… Man, I really should've slept more."

Shin stretched lazily, rubbing his eyes.

"Eh, whatever. I wonder what that new guy's up to right now?"

He thought for a moment.

"Should I check on him? …Nah. Who cares." — ZA-SHIN

[HEAVENLY SEVEN's Number 4] [Win/Loss Record: 167-0] [Single-handedly took down 20 Kingdoms]

Some Time Later… Shin casually strolled through the camp, hands in his pockets. Spotting Ryder, he smirked.

[Shin]"Hey! Ryder, right? That's your name? Hope I got that right."

Ryder turned, nodding.

[Ryder]"Yes, my name is Ryder. Good to see you."

[Shin]"So… I hope your wounds are healing up. Also, uh—why is your hip so red?"

[Ryder]"Wait—WHY THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT MY HIPS?!"

[Shin]"Haha, just messing with you."

Ryder let out a long sigh, shaking his head. Shin smirked.

"So, tell me—what brought you here? Why are you in Destroyer's ranks?"

Ryder's expression darkened for a moment.

[Ryder]"Honestly? I don't even know myself. Destroyer attacked my kingdom… that bastard killed our King. And as fate would have it, I was forced to step into his place."

He clenched his fists.

"But let's be real—I'm nowhere near strong enough. Compared to you guys, I'm just a weakling."

His gaze softened slightly.

"But still… there's someone waiting for me. I don't know who she is, but in the back of my mind, I can still hear her words. And then, there's the one who taught me how to fight… I don't remember their faces, or their names, but I know one thing—They were important to me."

Ryder glanced at Shin… And froze. Shin was asleep. Ryder's eye twitched.

[Ryder]"Are you kidding me?! I know it's a boring story, but at least have some respect when someone's talking!"

Shin, still pretending to sleep, smirked to himself.

[Shin]"Well, I don't have memories like that… and honestly, I don't want them either. Too much hassle trying to understand all that 'past' stuff."

He let out a deep sigh.

"Memories this, memories that… ugh, too complicated."

Shin leaned back, staring at the sky. "But I did have a group—"

His tone softened slightly.

"Not just friends… they were more like brothers to me. I don't know where they are now, or what they're doing… but one thing I do know— We never lost a single battle against humans."

His eyes gleamed with confidence.

[Shin]"Well then, let me share something with you… about the Heavenly Seven."

He leaned forward, smirking.

"A group of seven legends—warriors who can't be beaten easily."

Ryder raised an eyebrow.

[Ryder]"Heavenly Seven? What kind of group are you talking about?"

Shin chuckled.

[Shin]"I'm one of them. One of the Heavenly Seven."

He crossed his arms. "And there are six others like me." His smirk widened.

"Well, Ryder… I've got a deal for you. You in?"

Ryder hesitated. "What kind of deal?" Ryder said.

Shin's eyes gleamed.

[Shin]"I'll train you. I'll turn you into a warrior—you'll be under my guidance. But in return… you'll reunite the Heavenly Seven for me."

[Ryder]"Wait… me? Reunite legends like you? That's ridiculous. How am I supposed to do that?"

He muttered under his breath, doubting himself. Shin tilted his head.

[ZA-SHIN]"I can hear you, fool."

Ryder stiffened. Shin grinned.

"Why did I pick you? Simple—because it sounds fun." He laughed.

"I could've asked Destroyer to do it, but… nah. He's way too short-tempered. He'd mess it up. But you? You don't lose hope that easily."

From a distance—

[Destroyer]"I don't get it. Why the hell is he doing this?"

Destroyer glared at Za-Shin.

[Destroyer]"AND ZA-SHIN, STOP LAUGHING AT ME!" Shin burst into laughter.

[Shin]"HAHAHAHA! You're just like Ryder—shouting at me with the same damn intensity!"

Destroyer clicked his tongue.

[Destroyer]"Whatever. Just make sure he doesn't run away, or else…"

His eyes narrowed.

"I'll be the one making you sweat on the battlefield."

Za-Shin smirked.

[Shin]"Try it?"

For a brief moment, the tension in the air thickened. Destroyer and Za-Shin locked eyes. Could this really be…?

DESTROYER vs. ZA-SHIN. Their silent battle of wills lasted a few seconds before Destroyer's General came and Destroyer walked away. Shin turned back to Ryder.

[Shin]"Like I told you, one of the Heavenly Seven is in Japan."

Somewhere in Japan… A figure stood in the streets, sighing.

[…]"Japan, huh? But… damn, I suck at learning languages."

He glanced around, scanning the unfamiliar streets.

"Well, let's see if anything interesting happens around here."

A stranger approached, speaking in Japanese.

[Random Japanese Citizen]"Watashi wa anata o shitte imasu ka? Kokode wa atarashiku miemasu ka?"

(Do I know you? You look new here?)

The man scratched his head, trying to process the words.

[…](To himself) "Huh? What the hell did he just say…?"

He shrugged. "Maybe I should introduce myself?"

His lips curled into a cocky grin.

"I am one of the Heavenly Seven!"

He paused.

"…Wait, should I even say that?"

Then, without hesitation— "I DID 69 GIRLS AND 1,365 BOYS!"

The streets fell silent. And then, the words appeared— HEAVENLY SEVEN – NURY

[H7 Number 5] [K/D – 1434 / 2] [Destroyer of Four Countries]

Meanwhile… SHINDA ME had conquered ten kingdoms alone. The lands trembled beneath his power. In the ruined halls of a once-mighty kingdom, a desperate king knelt before him, his body shaking, his voice broken with fear.

[King Of Plynor]"P-please… have mercy. I beg you!" Tears streamed down his face.

"My wife… she's pregnant. Please, my lord, I'll do anything—just spare us!"

Shinda Me stood still, his expression unreadable. He tilted his head slightly.

{Shinda Me}"Mercy?"

His lips curled into a twisted smirk. "You want me to have mercy on you?"

A long silence. Then— Shinda Me chuckled.

"Alright. I'll have mercy."

His gaze darkened. "Just as I had mercy on your wife and your unborn child."

The king's breath hitched. His eyes widened in horror.

"Because they're already dead."

And before the king could even scream— SHINDA ME SWUNG HIS BLADE. The king's head hit the ground. Blood pooled around him, a crimson river of fate. Shinda Me exhaled slowly, his voice barely above a whisper.

"You want me to apologize… for what I have become?"

His fingers clenched around the hilt of his sword.

"Where were all of you— When I begged you not to turn me into this?"

He stepped over the lifeless body and continued forward. SHINDA ME. A monster forged in betrayal. A nightmare made flesh. And the world would suffer for it.

Back to Japan~

"In a world where the weak are forced to kneel… In a world where the strong decide fate… I alone stand above them all." — NURY

[HEAVENLY SEVEN's Number 5]

Nury smirked, stretching his arms as he casually declared his identity.

"I am one of the Heavenly Seven."

The moment the words left his mouth, the man before him paused— And then, he replied… A man scoffed, shaking his head in disbelief.

[Man]"Heavenly Seven? I always thought they were a myth. And even if they were real, what makes you think I'd believe you? Are you really claiming to be one of them?"

Nury yawned, stretching his arms.

[Nury]"Hey, old man, if you knew English, you should've said so earlier. I was busy searching for translations on my phone, and you wasted my time."

He let out another lazy yawn.

"Anyway, do you have any water?"

Just as the words left his mouth— A sharp slash tore through his back. Blood splattered onto the ground. Nury's eyes widened as pain shot through his body. Hundreds of men stood before him.

Each one armed. Each one ready to strike him down. The same man from before sneered.

[Man]"Don't worry, Heavenly Seven's cheap imitation. Today, you'll drink your own blood instead."

The warriors surrounded him. One by one, their blades carved into his flesh. His back, his arms—cut after cut, they toyed with him, laughing as they inflicted pain. Nury dropped to one knee, his breath ragged.

[Nury]"P-please… leave me… I beg you…"

His voice trembled. Tears welled in his eyes.

[Nury]"Please, sir—I just… I just want to go home."

The men roared with laughter. They began punching and kicking him mercilessly. One of the world's most feared warriors… reduced to nothing.

"Is this the strength of the Heavenly Seven?"

*************DARKSIDE KINGDOM************

Both Destroyer and Za-Shin walked through the garden, side by side.

[DESTROYER]"Why the hell did you send Ryder for this job, Za-Shin?"

Za-Shin tilted his head, as if lost in thought.

[Shin]"Hmm… Some call me 'Zu-Shin.' Others call me 'Za-Shin.' Zu-Shin is a name I'd rather forget."

Destroyer's expression darkened.

[Destroyer]"Are we really talking about your dumb names? Answer my damn question."

Za-Shin sighed dramatically.

[Shin]"Fine, fine. Why Ryder? Because we both know he won't give up. Isn't that right, Destroyer?"

Destroyer scoffed.

[Destroyer]"I wonder what'll happen when Nury meets him. That guy's a damn drama queen and a born actor."

Shin grinned. "Oh, I can't wait to see. And yeah, Nury could fool anyone if he wanted to."

Destroyer smirked. "Let's see how this plays out."

******************BACK IN JAPAN – THE BLOODY AWAKENING**********************

Nury lay on the ground, barely breathing. Blood pooled beneath him. His fingers twitched.

[Nury]"Why… why are you trying to kill me?"

The leader of the men stepped forward, his eyes cold.

[Man]"Because the Heavenly Seven slaughtered our former king. From that day on, a law was made— Anyone who even dares to speak their name… will be executed."

Nury let out a weak chuckle.

[Nury]"So, I was right about the rumors after all."

He took a slow breath. His hands tightened into fists.

[Nury]"Alright, first things first… who was the bastard that attacked me from behind?"

The group hesitated, exchanging glances. Finally, a man stepped forward, cracking his knuckles.

[???]"That would be me, shithead."

Nury cracked his neck and smirked. He reached for a steel rod lying on the ground. Then, without warning— HE SWUNG IT INTO THE MAN'S HEAD. A sickening CRACK echoed through the streets. The man collapsed instantly. Nury rolled his shoulders, his grin widening.

[Nury]"Alright… now which one of you was cutting me up earlier?"

His voice turned sinister. "Come on, babies. Let's have some fun."

24 MINUTES LATER… The street was unrecognizable. The air was thick with the metallic scent of blood. Bodies lay motionless, their faces beaten beyond recognition. And in the middle of it all— Nury sat on top of the corpses, breathing heavily. Then, he looked up. His eyes locked onto a boy standing at the edge of the battlefield. Nury tilted his head.

[Nury]"Are you one of them?"

The boy hesitated, his voice trembling.

[???]"N-No… I came here to meet you."

Nury narrowed his eyes.

[???]"I know who you are. You're one of the Heavenly Seven."

Nury let out a tired sigh.

[NURY]"Who the hell are you?"

The boy took a step forward.

[Ryder]"I'm Ryder. I was sent here by Za-Shin."

Silence. Then, suddenly—

[NURY]"WHAT THE HELL? ZA-SHIN IS ALIVE?!"

He threw his head back and burst into laughter.

[NURY]"HAHAHA! Unbelievable!"

Then, his laughter died down. His expression turned serious.

[NURY]"Look, kid… I have no interest in meeting my old teammates. I prefer being alone."

He stood up, wiping the blood off his face.

[Nury]"So do yourself a favor—go home. This place isn't safe for you. Hell, it isn't even safe for me."

Ryder clenched his fists.

[RYDER]"I'll wait for you, sir. Please… I want to help. I know I'm nowhere near your level, but I swear—I'll be useful."

Nury sighed. He glanced at Ryder. Then, a smirk formed on his lips.

[Nury]"Help me, huh?"

He crossed his arms. "Fine. Come with me."

Nury leaned in. "I have a plan."

Ryder listened carefully as Nury explained.

His mission was simple— "Find a man who can help us. He will be the key to our next move."

Ryder nodded and turned to leave. But before he could take another step— A group of elite swordsmen surrounded him. Their blades gleamed under the moonlight. Their eyes burned with hostility. The hunt was far from over.

[Guardian]"Did you just say Heavenly Seven?"

He unsheathed his sword, eyes burning with menace.

"Let me show you how it feels when I cut you into pieces."

[Nury]- "This man slaughtered all of your men, and I was about to attack him... I know. Our dear former King was murdered by Heavenly 7, and this man was the one to make fun of it."

NURY BETRAYED RYDER! Bound and blindfolded, Ryder was dragged before the King of Japan, his heart pounding with fear. His mind raced.

Why? Why did Nury betray me? The heavy footsteps of the guards echoed in the grand hall.

A chilling voice cut through the tension—

{King Hanyuk}"Well, well… I must say, I'm surprised. This little newbie really thought he could attack me?" He chuckled.

"I suppose I'll be merciful and grant him a swift death instead of a painful one."

His gaze shifted to the man standing beside him.

"Well done, Nury."

Ryder's breath hitched. Standing next to the king… was Nury. A member of the Heavenly Seven. A brilliant mind. A master manipulator. And the one who had sold him out. Ryder's entire body tensed. He wanted to scream, to fight back—but he couldn't move. Then, in the midst of the silence— A whisper.

[Nury]"To win something… a sacrifice must be made." His voice was low, filled with an eerie calm.

"Forgive me, brother. And… thank you for everything."

Ryder's world shattered. He couldn't speak. Couldn't cry out. He was paralyzed in fear and betrayal. No one was coming to save him. No one. His heart pounded in his chest as he lowered his head, forcing himself into silence. As memories of his love and master flashed through his mind, he accepted his fate. The king waved his hand dismissively.

{King Hanyuk}"Alright, cut off his head. Let's begin the meeting."

A guard stepped forward, sword gleaming in the candlelight. Nury turned, walking out of the room alongside the king. The blade was raised. Then—

BANG! The heavy doors burst open. A swordsman ran in, panting, his face pale.

[Swordsmen]"WE NEED BACKUP!!!"

The Guardian snapped his head toward the window, his eyes widening in shock. Through the thick, swirling dust at the gateway, a shadow emerged. A flickering ember glowed in the air. The dust settled. There he stood.

A herbal cigar rested between his fingers, smoke curling in the wind.

{Shin}"One thing about Nury…"

He took a slow drag, exhaling.

"He has sacrificed more than a hundred people to achieve his mission." A deep voice responded.

[Destroyer]"I see."

The Guardian's breath caught in his throat. His body stiffened. His face drained of all color. Because standing at the gateway— Was THE DARKSIDE KING.DESTROYER.

Destroyer didn't wait. Within moments— TWENTY MEN FELL AT HIS FEET. The gateway was drenched in blood. The Guardian panicked, rushing toward the King's chamber.

[Guardian]"My Lord! We need reinforcements! That man—he's unstoppable!"

The king, however, remained calm. A slow smile spread across his lips.

{King Hanyuk}"No need to worry."

His fingers tapped against the armrest of his throne.

"There is someone who can stop him."

A familiar voice rang out from across the hall. A voice filled with amusement—

[Nury]"Never thought I'd see you again, Destroyer."

Destroyer's eyes flicked toward him, fire burning behind his gaze. Nury stepped forward, stretching his neck, rolling his shoulders.

[Nury]"It's been a while since I had a serious match."

A grin spread across his face. "Don't let me down."

THE HEAVENLY SEVEN'S NURY VS. THE DARK SIDE KING DESTROYER

Destroyer cracked his knuckles, his presence suffocating.

[Destroyer]"Let's see if you live up to your name, 'Heavenly Seven.'"

Nury smirked. "Let's begin."
