Chapter 9 - TBB 9: Third-Eye

As the battle between Destroyer and Nury raged on, another war was unfolding inside the Kingdom of Japan.

Ryder vs. King HanYuk

Ryder was covered in blood, barely able to stand. Across from him, King HanYuk stood tall, a wicked grin on his face, gripping his sword like a reaper waiting to claim its soul. He rushed at Ryder, swinging his blade with the intent to kill. Ryder rolled backward, barely dodging. Desperate, he grabbed a glass cup from the ground and smashed it into HanYuk's foot. But—

HanYuk didn't even flinch. Instead, he smirked.

[Hanyuk]"Do you really think you're on my level? A mere kid… taking down a King-Level threat like me?"

Ryder gritted his teeth.

[Ryder]"I've fought kings stronger than you, HanYuk."

Using every last ounce of his strength, Ryder drove the broken glass deeper into HanYuk's leg—then slashed it open. The king grunted, feeling the pain. But in retaliation— HanYuk punched Ryder so hard that he blacked out for three seconds. The world spun. Blood filled his mouth.

The king loomed over him, grinning like a maniac as he slowly carved into Ryder's flesh with his blade. Ryder screamed in agony. HanYuk laughed. With just one hand, he grabbed Ryder and threw him across the room, slamming him into a pillar. HanYuk stepped forward, his expression darkening.

[HanYuk]"There was someone who once defeated me. Back then, I was weak." He cracked his neck.

"Since that day, I've trained endlessly… rising to the level of Heavenly Seven. And now, I will take revenge on that woman. What was her name again? Oh, right—Alexa."

Ryder's body froze. His eyes widened. His consciousness faded. And then— Memories flooded in.

"Alexa. That name… it surrounds me. It embraces me. It loves me. She was always there… in the depths of my subconscious. The girl for whom I sacrificed my happiness—even when I was just a child. I remember now… I remember the day she left me."

"Love is the most cursed feeling in this world." – Unknown

"It brings pain. It brings suffering. It shatters the heart. They say love can also bring joy and fulfillment—but if that's true, why wasn't I worthy of it? Why was I never the one who deserved to be loved? If love is real… then I will become someone who deserves it. I will surpass even the strongest. But… How? What should I do to be worthy of love? Alexa… I still don't know why you left me. Or maybe… I was just too blind to see that my love was never enough to begin with. I would have died just to see you smile. Oh, how lucky are those who find their true love… because I never got to experience it. If love in reality is even half as beautiful as it is in my imagination, then I wonder… what would it feel like? For your happiness, oh darling, I would destroy my own emotions. I would become a fool—a joker, just to make you laugh. But for once—just once—please say that I am yours."

Ryder's body shook. Tears streamed down his face. His vision blurred.

[HanYuk]"Where are you lost, kid? And why the hell are you crying?"

Ryder couldn't answer. He was breaking. Bleeding from every part of his body. Drowning in sorrow. But could he still win?

MEANWHILE… THE POWER OF DARKNESS VS. NOTHINGNESS

The war outside the kingdom was something no soldier dared to interfere in.Even the strongest warriors feared what was happening in that moment. Because—Destroyer and Nury's battle was beyond human comprehension. Every strike they exchanged could wipe out hundreds. The sky itself seemed to tremble as Nury's twin khukris slashed at Destroyer's flesh, aiming for his limbs to weaken his base. Destroyer dodged, countering with a monstrous swing of BLACKCROWN. But just as the blade was about to cut through Nury— A perfectly timed 90-degree kick sent Destroyer reeling back. Both warriors ran at each other— And when they clashed— A shockwave of pure power exploded outward, knocking back the watching soldiers. Nury wrapped his khukris around Destroyer's hand, yanking his sword away. Both warriors were now weaponless. Without hesitation—Destroyer unleashed a barrage of punches. Each strike shattered bones. Each hit sent Nury flying. One brutal punch crushed Nury's nose, sending him soaring through the air. But the moment he hit the ground— Nury used his hands as a base, twisting his body and landing a devastating kick to Destroyer's face. He grabbed Destroyer mid-air— And slammed him into the ground.

Destroyer grinned.

[Destroyer]"Should've killed you earlier, but I got carried away having fun."

[Nury]"Copy and paste."

Destroyer wiped the blood from his mouth. His aura darkened.

[Destroyer]"Let me show you what true darkness is."

Nury smirked.

[Nury]"Bring it on. Because I'm about to end this fight."

Destroyer's eyes narrowed.

[Destroyer]"Are you really about to use that?"

The wind shifted. The air itself trembled. Nury closed his eyes. And then— He activated it.

***[[[ THIRD EYE: LORE OF NOTHINGNESS ]]]***

Destroyer's body froze. He knew exactly what this meant.

"A state where every single wound heals instantly. A state where no element—fire, acid, water, geo, ice, space, electro, anemo—can harm him. A state that can only be countered by another Third Eye user."

Destroyer gritted his teeth.

"Shit… he actually knows how to use it (Third Eye)."

The wind howled. The air turned dense. Nury's wounds vanished. And then— In the blink of an eye— Destroyer's right arm was slashed. Blood poured onto the battlefield. Nury grinned.

[Nury]"Oi, didn't I say? You're dead meat, Destroyer. This entire world—is my void."

The battle of Kings reached its peak. One ruled Darkness. The other ruled Nothingness. Who would stand as the true King?

In a world where happiness and sadness reside within the human heart, there are those who find a way to turn their worst days into blessings. But… how long can one endure? Once upon a time, in a kingdom far away, there was a girl named Mousumi. She wandered the world in search of happiness, trying to be a part of every conversation, longing to belong. She was young, too young to understand the complexities of life. As an only child, she had no friends her age—but she didn't mind. To her, "Mom" and "Dad" were enough to make her world shine like the sun in daylight. But life is all about balance. And that balance never lasts. One day, Mousumi met someone. A stranger from another town. He showed her love, introduced her to feelings she had never known before. She was young, naïve, and unsure of what was right or wrong. But still, she said yes. Days passed. Months slipped away. Her life felt good—for a while. But then, the balance shifted. She was alone again. Yet, she felt free. She spread her wings, trying to fly high, eager to make friends with everyone. But people never understood her. They never took her seriously. She wanted to smile, to be part of something bigger. She wanted to live. But the sun faded. Darkness arrived. Her mother fell ill—mentally and physically. It was serious. She began to lose herself. Forgetting her child. Forgetting her husband. Mousumi, too young to understand, could only watch. She stood behind her "sun", desperate to hold it up. She was the reason her family was still holding on. But now— Her mother was bedridden. Her father fell into depression. And Mousumi? She was forced to grow up. Her father tried to pretend things were normal, but she knew the truth. She smiled anyway. Hugged him anyway.

She learned to cook instead of play. She stayed inside instead of running free. She worried instead of dreaming. A child devoured by fate. Her smile lit up the world, but when darkness fell, her tears cried in silence. She tried everything. Housework. Cooking. Learning. But at the end of the day— She looked at herself and saw a failure.

"I can't help anyone. I'm a burden." God tested her again and again.

So ruthlessly that she forgot the last time she felt warmth in her heart. But she kept going. She faked her smiles. She stood tall, knowing that if she broke, her father would break too. And so, she became mature before ever reaching the age of maturity.

**********CURRENTLY IN JAPAN*********THE WAR RAGES ON

Destroyer lost his arm. Nury was about to finish the battle of legends. Destroyer was bleeding, his army's morale crumbling. His soldiers suffered heavy losses, their heads rolling one by one.

And amidst the carnage— A lone figure danced in the blood of Japan's strongest army. Skeleton. With an eerie smile, he cut down 97 men, slaying generals and chiefs alike. But then—Skeleton faced the 2nd Ranked General in Command. Both warriors clashed, their battle equally matched. The General unsheathed two swords, carving an X-shaped scar into Skeleton's chest. But Skeleton only grinned. He raged. His fists shattered walls as their battle shook the city. Skeleton was a monster in human skin. His strikes could break iron. And soon enough— He broke the General's nose. But the General retaliated, tangling his legs around Skeleton's neck and flipping him backwards. Then, in an act of madness— The General killed his own men. He picked up a third sword. And took his final stance. But in a blink— Skeleton grabbed a fallen blade near his neck— And in an instant, he killed the General.

Destroyer, gripping his bleeding stump, growled.

[Destroyer]"You shitty kid. You took my arm?"

His aura shifted. The ground trembled.

[Destroyer]"SHOULD I SHOW YOU THE REAL POWER OF THE THIRD EYE?"

A heavy pressure filled the air. Soldiers collapsed, forced to their knees in terror. Even Skeleton froze. He had never seen Destroyer like this. Even Nury— Even in his Third Eye State—Could feel it. Something was wrong.

Destroyer began to chant. He was about to fully awaken. And his arm started healing. But then— A voice stopped him. A figure stepped forward. Za-Shin.

He didn't speak. He simply pointed. Destroyer turned. And everyone followed his gaze. And then—They saw her.

Standing in the middle of the battlefield— Holding a severed head by its hair. The head of King HanYuk. And the one holding it… A girl. With long flowing hair, eyes cold as winter. A silent storm of destruction.

[Shin]"We were hunting the Heavenly Seven… but we never realized… We were the ones being hunted. By none other than you."

The battlefield fell silent. The armies stared in disbelief. And then— Her name was spoken.

MOUSUMI

[Heavenly Seven – No. 6][K/D – 1000 / 1][Destroyed Two Kingdoms]

Destroyer stared. For the first time in years—A new legend entered the battlefield.

And everything—Changed.
