Two legends. Two warriors standing at the peak of power.
Heavenly Seven's greatest—NURY.
The Dark Side King—DESTROYER.
The battlefield was silent. The tension in the air was suffocating. Both warriors stood their ground, watching each other, waiting for someone to break the ice. And then, Destroyer smirked.
[Destroyer] – "Been a while, Nury. It's been a long time since I've fought someone from the Heavenly Seven… I was going to ask you—"
Before he could finish, Nury's knee smashed into his face. The impact sent Destroyer skidding backward. The Dark Side King felt that one.
[Nury] – "Are we here to talk? No, right? So don't waste my time, Destroyer. Show me what you've got."
Destroyer wiped the blood from his nose. His smirk grew wider.
[Destroyer] – "I was going to ask—how would you like to die by my hands?"
Then, both warriors charged at each other. Their fists collided. The shockwave alone sent cracks rippling through the battlefield. Destroyer caught Nury's fist and yanked him forward—slamming him into the ground with brutal force. But before he could follow up, Nury rolled back, launching a devastating kick into Destroyer's stomach. Destroyer staggered.
[Nury] – "You're a pain in the ass."
[Destroyer] – "Likewise."
The words were spoken mid-battle. Each blow landed harder than the last. The watching soldiers could only stare in horror—if any of them got caught between this fight, they would be obliterated instantly. Nury grabbed a rock and threw it straight at Destroyer's face, distracting him for a split second. That moment was all Nury needed. He lunged in and delivered a crushing strike to Destroyer's face. For the first time in years, the Dark Side King felt pain. But Nury didn't stop there. Punch after punch. Blow after blow. Destroyer's face was covered in blood, but Nury kept going. He wasn't just trying to win—he was trying to kill him.
The battle raged on. Nury's roundhouse kick connected perfectly, sending Destroyer flying. Without hesitation, Nury grabbed him mid-air and slammed him into an iron statue. The force was so great—the statue shattered.
The soldiers whispered among themselves.
[Army Man 1] – "Nury… he's strong enough to turn even a simple rock into a weapon."
[Army Man 2] – "Thank god he's on our side."
[Army Man 7] – "But… why isn't he stopping? He keeps attacking like he's possessed!"
[Army Man 5] – "Maybe he's just pissed off. Either way, thanks to him, this fight is over."
[Army Man 30] – "Haha, yeah, we won."
Then, someone shouted in terror.
[Army Man 23] – "WAIT—HAVE YOU EVER SEEN DESTROYER GETTING THRASHED LIKE THIS?!"
The battlefield fell silent. One soldier hesitated before answering.
[Army Man 10] – "Once. Years ago. He fought against a King named Traus. The strongest in the Northern World."
The others turned to him in shock.
[Army Man 19] – "Wait… are you saying Destroyer lost to him?"
The soldier shook his head.
[Army Man 10] – "No. Destroyer took the beating… not because he was weak… but because—"
A voice interrupted him.
[Army Man 19] – "HEY… WHAT IN THE WORLD? LOOK!!"
Their eyes widened.
[Army Man 10] – "…Because he enjoys testing his opponent's strength."
Destroyer chuckled. He wiped the blood from his mouth and grinned.
[Destroyer] – "Are you done?"
His eyes burned with excitement. "You really are the best man to make me enjoy the thrill of a fight."
He cracked his neck. "Haha, it hurts… I'm bleeding."
His fingers curled into fists. "But I can't afford to play with you for too long… because if I do—you'll become a real problem."
Nury took a deep breath.
[Nury] – "I'm just getting started."
"You have good endurance, Destroyer. But let's see how long you can last against me."
Destroyer suddenly swung his arm, landing a brutal strike to Nury's neck. Nury stumbled for a moment, but he quickly used the momentum to spin his body— His legs twisted around Destroyer, flipping him over and slamming him into the ground. Nury grabbed his Khukri.
A blade made for war. A blade that meant one thing.
"KILL TO WIN."
***********DARKSIDE KINGDOM************* – MEANWHILE…
Za-Shin yawned, walking through the castle garden.
[Shin] – "Hey, Commander Peerus, what are you doing? Come, let's have a chat."
[Peerus] – "Ah, yes, I was looking for Lord Destroyer."
Za-Shin leaned against a tree.
[Shin] – "He might be somewhere. I just hope he isn't there."
Peerus raised an eyebrow.
[Peerus] – "What are you muttering about? Don't worry, Lord Destroyer is unbeatable."
Za-Shin smirked.
[Shin] – "You see… there are always exceptions. Even a tiny pebble can cause pain if it cuts deep enough."
Peerus laughed.
[Peerus] – "I've been with Lord Destroyer for five years. I know he can endure pain. But what will you do if I tell you… he loves it?"
Za-Shin's expression darkened.
[Shin] – "If he's fighting him… then things just got interesting."
***************JAPAN****************** – THE SECOND ROUND BEGINS
Nury's blade sliced across Destroyer's skin. For the first time, the soldiers saw the King of the Darkside bleed. The weak trembled. The strong stood in awe. Nury smirked.
[Nury] – "This is it. This is where history changes. I will be the first man to defeat Destroyer."
But then— Destroyer laughed. He grabbed his sword. BLACKCROWN. The legendary blade of the Darkside King. His eyes burned.
[Destroyer] – "Round two? Shall we?"
Nury tightened his grip on the Khukri.
[Nury] – "You really are interesting, Destroyer."
And as the wind howled— THE REAL BATTLE BEGAN.
THE SECOND ROUND BEGINS
The air was thick with tension. The battlefield stood still. A single leaf danced in the wind, slowly drifting towards the ground. As soon as it touched the dirt— Nury and Destroyer charged at each other once again. The clash of their weapons sent shockwaves across the battlefield. The sheer force of their strikes shook the earth beneath them, making the watching soldiers tremble. Nury's twin khukris clashed against Destroyer's legendary sword—BLACKCROWN. Each collision sparked with power, illuminating the night like lightning in a storm. Nury twisted his blades, trapping BLACKCROWN in the ground. For a split second, Destroyer was weaponless. That was all Nury needed. He tightened his grip around Destroyer's waist— And with everything he had, he lifted the Dark Side King off his feet, slamming him straight through a stone wall! The wall collapsed into rubble. Nury sprinted towards his khukri, aiming for the final blow—
But before he could react— Destroyer drove his entire body into Nury's back, slamming him into the ground. The sound of flesh tearing filled the air. Blood splattered across the battlefield. Nury's back was openly slashed, his vision blurring from the pain.
Ten soldiers—reckless and desperate—rushed in to interfere.
[Nury] – "DON'T GO!"
His warning came too late. Destroyer had already unsheathed BLACKCROWN. In a single devastating slash, the heads of all ten men were sent flying. Blood painted the ground beneath them. Destroyer turned back to Nury, a grin forming on his bloodstained face.
[Destroyer] – "Thanks to you, this has been fun. Nury, right? I won't forget your name."
He rested BLACKCROWN on his shoulder, tilting his head.
"As one of the Heavenly Seven… you are worthy of your title—Nury, the Lord of Nothingness."
Nury wiped the blood from his lips, exhaling. A small chuckle escaped his throat.
[Nury] – "Nothingness? Yeah… you're right. I am the Lord of Nothingness."
TWO YEARS AGO…
"There was a time when I lived for joy… A time when I believed in happiness. And that happiness came from a single person—a girl I never thought I'd fall for."
Nury's heart ached as he recalled the past.
"We played, we laughed, we lived in the moment. Not because I was desperate… but because I was happiest when I was with her. But then, I realized something— What if this moment ends? What if she's gone? Would I still be happy? No. I wouldn't."
His fingers clenched into fists.
"I wanted to tell her—please, don't leave me. My life was fine before, but with you… it was complete. I didn't need the world. I just needed her. But I never said it. I was a coward."
A bitter laugh escaped his lips.
"Emotions… emotions are a curse in this heaven we call Earth. Some are lucky. Some get their love. But me? God, was I not blessed?"
Tears stung his eyes, but he refused to let them fall.
"I tried. I truly did. But I was too slow, too uncertain. And in the end, she found her happiness in another man. And me? I murdered my emotions. I slaughtered my hope. I became something else."
"I became NURY, THE LORD OF NOTHINGNESS."
BACK TO THE BATTLE
Destroyer felt it. The shift in energy. Nury's aura exploded, his presence overwhelming. A warrior reborn.
[Nury] – "Destroyer… let me show you a reality check."
His eyes burned with an emotion Destroyer hadn't seen before.
[Nury] – "This world is rotten. Expectations are a disease. Love is nothing but an illusion. This world has nothing to offer me—so I will be nothing to this world."
"I am the LORD OF NOTHINGNESS, NURY!"
Destroyer grinned. He could feel it. Nury had awakened.
[Destroyer] – "They say that those who awaken reach their prime state…"
He cracked his neck, his voice turning demonic.
"But who cares? I'M GOING TO KILL YOU ANYWAY!"
Destroyer lunged, his blade aiming for Nury's throat. But Nury countered. Using Destroyer's own momentum, he deflected the strike, twisting his body as their weapons clashed again. The battlefield erupted in chaos. Their weapons collided at such speed and intensity that even the strongest soldiers couldn't see the fight— All they could hear was the unrelenting sound of steel crashing against steel. The wind roared around them, the sheer force of their attacks stirring the dust and sand into a storm. Their battle shook the ground. Their battle shook the heavens.
Suddenly— Destroyer's blade cut deep into Nury's chest. Nury staggered, dropping to his knees. The soldiers watching froze in terror. If Nury—a member of the Heavenly Seven—couldn't stand against Destroyer… Then who could? Blood dripped from Nury's lips as his vision blurred. Destroyer stood over him, exhaling in satisfaction.
[Destroyer] – "It's been so long since someone gave me a real fight."
He raised his sword, ready to end it.
"Thank you, Nury. You were the best."
BLACKCROWN CAME DOWN— But— A loud CLANG echoed across the battlefield. Destroyer's eyes widened. Nury had blocked his sword with a single khukri. And then— Nury smirked.
[Nury] – "Hey, m*th*rf*ck*r. Don't get carried away."
His eyes burned with fury. "You should've aimed for my head."
Destroyer suddenly felt a shift in the battlefield. He looked around. 9,509 MEN HAD SURROUNDED HIM. The best warriors of Shibuya, Japan's top forces, the King's elite soldiers— All standing against him. The Chief-in-Charge stepped forward, grinning.
[Chief] – "We knew your battle with Nury would be this intense. So we planned ahead… we'll finish you off while you're weak."
Destroyer laughed.
[Destroyer] – "Weak? You think I'm weak?"
His smile twisted into something monstrous.
"Send all of them at once. Let's see if their families will get to see their beloved fathers again."
Then— The ground trembled. The sound of thousands of warriors marching filled the air. A soldier rushed in, screaming in terror.
[Soldier] – "IT'S—IT'S DESTROYER'S ARMY!!!"
Destroyer's grin widened.
[Destroyer] – "LET THE WAR BEGIN!"
Nury clenched his blades.
[Nury] – "If it's war, no one interferes between us, Destroyer."
Destroyer chuckled.
"YOU'RE THE BEST, NURY!"
Nury smiled back.
"I PROMISE TO SHOW YOU THE PATH OF HELL!"
FINAL DANCE OF HELL… TO BE CONTINUED.
